These notifications advertise gas stations in the area. My gas tank usually runs above 50% so the notifications are misleading. Worst of all, there is no way to opt out of these notifications. I love it. It let’s me know when my vehicle has a disturbance, when my vehicle starts, where my vehicle is located and where it’s been. It tells you if anything is going wrong with your vehicles engine. It tracked your car everywhere it goes via live tracking gps. You can track your car in real-time all the time. It logs every trip. You get a notification when your vehicle starts and when your vehicle is disturbed (someone opens your car doors but does not start the car). You also get a notification if there are any issues with your engine. It will give you the code for whatever is wrong. Metro Smart Ride is the best thing since fried chicken. I purchased these in 2019. Over the years they’ve had a few glitches but for the most part they’ve done what they’re supposed to do. This morning I woke up and logged on to my account and my account was wiped clean. I have 16 vehicles on the road all over the state and I have no idea where they are or where they’ve been. I called the local MetroPCS store. The associate that answered the phone could not help me and referred me to the manager. The manager could not help me. The manager told me to dial 611 and speak to Metro. I was on the phone for over an hour with a metro associate from 611 who tried to help me but could not. At the end of the conversation he told me that I would need to go into my local Metro Pcs store for assistance. The Metro Pcs store says they cannot assist me I have to call 611. In the meantime it’s been 12 1/2 hours and I have no idea where my 16 vehicles are. The whole purpose of the metroSMART Ride was to keep track of my vehicles. He called me the following Monday. I’m not sure if anybody else has had this experience but I am very frustrated and you can’t run a business like this. You have to be able to depend on the merchandise that you purchase. The merchandise you pay for every single month.
