## What is Metrosoft Scanner App?

The is an internal app for use within NHSA for scanning 2D barcode information from US driving licenses and drivers' permits.

### 1.7 — 2026-07-29

This build fixes a bug where certain elements were displaying behind the device's system information icons at the top of the device.

### 1.6 — 2026-07-27

Fixes a bug with the scanning of Drivers' Permits.  License class is now a required element.  Also, fixes animation and element position issues in permit scanning.

### 1.5 — 2026-07-13

This release contains a major upgrade to the look and feel of the app.  Minor functional changes have also been added:
- Authorization code blanked after successful login.
- Environment indicator added to remind the user of the environment they are using.
- Removed options for using saved photos when capturing the scan image.

Fixes bugs:
- Passcode visibility toggle fixed
- Shifts version check from client to API.
- Prevent environment switch after login.
