I tried doing a selfie but I keep getting a message that access is denied to my camera. I tried to add and allow access but it still shows denied, so I can’t open the app. I am 74 years old and have to provide a picture or identification when some politicians feel there is no need for identification to vote. I have had the same favorites list for years, that I was able to enjoy free of change, but because the app is more focused on being an nft instead of an enjoyable place for users I woke up today unable to use favorites unless I pay for it. I used to be able to make and send private posts in group chats, but no longer. Soon I’m sure I won’t be able to post anything at all unless I’ve paid for the app. This is disappointing and saddening I have met many people on this app, the only reason I am giving two stars instead of one, but I don’t know how much longer I will stay. I understand wanting to make money, but you could add features instead of taking away features that users have enjoyed for years free of charge. The point was most hated the censorship and looking over shoulders all the time. But. Some groups for adult things, well they stayed. Others well they got censored. Well it is, because no matter how many times u hit that edit button, MeWe is like “Ha! U thought I would just LET u have a profile pic of your own?… HA! The reason is that MEWE only gives 8GB cloud storage to non-paying members. As a result, you will soon no longer be able to post anything without first deleting older contributions.
