### 1/5 — What even is this sh

*2025-04-16, version 1.1.4*

Does it work? Yes. On one device at a time cant have it on more than one phone and work.

Worse is you pay $5k for a bed.... I think i should be able to leave the massage option on however long I want without a timer being nonoptional....

### 1/5 — Good frame horrible app

*2025-03-14, version 1.1.4*

I honestly feel like I’ve been conned with the no returns policy on this frame, the app is that buggy and bad. Do better.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t Work!

*2025-03-06, version 1.1.4*

The App disconnects and is impossible to reconnect. It’s sporadic. I often need to remove the app and reinstall it to get it to work!

### 1/5 — update unpaired

*2025-02-16, version 1.1.4*

update to firmware made the app not work with my bed anymore

### 1/5 — Worthless Products

*2025-01-12, version 1.1.4*

WORTHLESS WORTHLESS WORTHLESS!!!
Sleepys Elite Adjustable base owner here. Horrible horrible horrible waste of $2000+ app stopped working and bed stopped working after less than 24 hours!! If you purchased this i am so sorry!

### 1/5 — Just send us remotes

*2025-01-10, version 1.1.4*

This was the most disappointing experience I have ever had. DO NOT LAUNCH AN APP THATS NOT READY!! I have only had this mattress a week and the fact that I have had to unplug and reconnect this many times is wild. And why can my husband and me not be connected at the same time? So I have to unplug and reconnect every time he isn’t here with his phone and vice versa. I would love to use the tablet so I didn’t have to do that but it has already broken so. Please please just send us all remotes so we do not have to use the app

### 1/5 — Not for iPhone

*2024-11-28, version 1.1.4*

Will not stay connected to iPhone.

### 1/5 — No iOS Functionality on iOS18

*2024-11-19, version 1.1.1*

Yeah, as the title states, don’t waste your time downloading and trying to add your adjustable bed foundation to this app. It will not work at all.

### 1/5 — $1000’s of worthless

*2024-11-04, version 1.1.1*

The pad that controls the adjustable base, is slow to connect. It loses connection to Bluetooth regularly. Out of desperation, I downloaded the app to my phone and my wife’s phone. It worked for about two hours and no longer connects to any of the devices. The only way I can get it to work is to have it on one phone only without the pad turned on. This unit is absolutely worthless. If you have a power outage or lose Internet, your bed will be stuck in the former position. Do not buy this.

### 2/5 — Lacks functions

*2024-10-10, version 1.1.1*

There is a program button that does nothing. Seems at one point this was to allow for memory slots or programable settings. Please add this function. All other adjustable bed frame apps have this essential function.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2024-09-26, version 1.1.1*

App can’t find my base

### 1/5 — Non-functional

*2024-09-25, version 1.1.1*

I downloaded the app a week ago Sunday and it worked, but by Wednesday, it stopped working and it has not started working again for a week now. Pretty disappointing that you spend that much on a base and it doesn’t work how it’s intended to work. Now we wish we would’ve gotten a base with a simple remote control.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Just broke after 5 months of it working

*2026-04-10, version 1.1.4*

I think they need to be updating this app more often because it was working just fine. All of the sudden, it has stopped working on my phone and it keeps saying that the bed frame isn’t connected with Bluetooth even though it’s been reset multiple times.

### 1/5 — Why is this not fixed yet?

*2026-03-14, version 1.1.4*

Sad, I’ve had this for quite a while and I see from all the reviews, It’s still the same for everybody. Somebody’s saying that they released a standard remote, but just fix this one. Biggest complaint that I have is not being able to save settings that I set for the position. I want it in. Why put a program button in the middle that doesn’t do anything. I’ve tried this app on the original tablet, iPad and android phone, and all same results.

### 1/5 — This is crazy!

*2025-11-24, version 1.1.4*

Do they care that this is a mess or do they not know how to improve it? Either way it’s very pretty bad. Barely even usable app.

### 1/5 — Complete garbage

*2025-09-27, version 1.1.4*

This app pretty much bricks the bed. After one use it required a firmware update with the description of simply ‘bugs’. Stopped connecting to the bed despite reboots of both bed and app. I would not recommend you buy an adjustable bed from Mattress Firm because this app is just that bad. They promised a physical remote but ‘forgot’ it on delivery and won’t provide me with one now. Shady business, non-functional app.

### 1/5 — Missed opportunity

*2025-08-31, version 1.1.4*

This could be a great app but it’s so poorly put together. Only one device can be connected at a time. Bad UI. Buttons that don’t do what they say - setting the bed to “Steady” pulses the motor. You have to wait for the motor to time out, then switch back to the app to actually get a steady vibration. This only works because of a bug in the app. This app is why I will likely return my base for the non-“smart” version.

### 1/5 — Poor app design, cheap tablet

*2025-08-25, version 1.1.4*

Where to start, the cheap tablets are flimsy, the battery does not last, have to press hard for the touch controls to work.
Downloaded app to iPhone, when phone is disconnected from the bed, you lose your custom bed settings, very frustrating to remember settings every night.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work at all for latest iPhone

*2025-08-10, version 1.1.4*

I am going to return this mattress and then some. Everyone working on this project should be ashamed

### 1/5 — PLEASE!!! More Functionality

*2025-06-04, version 1.1.4*

It works but it’s just not robust enough. Needs way more options. The “button” definitely needs to be more than a pixel. The motors absolutely need to function separately. For the money I spent on this the tablet should be useful. A regular remote would be so much better.

### 1/5 — When C-Suite fires the design team

*2025-05-23, version 1.1.4*

I would love for whatever executive or their son/nephew that came up with the idea of having this product controlled solely by a gumball-machine quality tablet walk me through the fever dream that inspired this mess. Nothing better than, right before bed, fighting with the tablet while it force-updates, restarts, freezes, and restarts again while you wait for the app to open…simply to press a single button. Our grandparents were forced to push a button on a dedicated remote without having to interact with a tablet with less processing power than a thermometer, so here’s to the future I guess?

The adjustable frame itself is amazing. It is completely hamstrung by a lousy idea that should have been tossed in the brainstorm room. If this app ACTUALLY stayed paired with more than one device, it would be great. But it doesn’t. It disconnects from everything but the crackerjack box tablet it comes with. So you end up using the tablet as a wired remote that’s 100x more annoying than every wired remote ever made.

I’m assuming someone in leadership had the idea of wireless control and couldn’t let it go when the Bluetooth chip that could have made this product great would cut into the profit margin. The fact that this was pushed as an ELITE product is astounding and the fact that I feel for it has me eating paste and lowered my reading level to the fourth grade.

1 star.

### 1/5 — Very basic app

*2025-05-03, version 1.1.4*

App only connects to the bed half of the time. The app does not allow for two connections at the same time so you have to keep the tablet or iPhone in the bed if you or your partner want to make adjustments.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — I can fix this problem

*2025-08-28, version 1.1.4*

I am an employee at mattress firm. The manufacturer heard you the customers and us the employees. They make a physical remote for these again which is so much better than the tablet. Call your local store

### 5/5 — Tablets are a scam

*2024-08-04, version 1.0.1*

It shouldn’t be this hard to find this app. Much better experience than those stupid tablets.

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2024-07-23*

It is so much better being able to control my Sleepy’s Elite from my iPhone!

### 4/5 — Update with memory and physical remote available. Finally got app to pair phone with bed - here’s ho

*2025-11-13, version 1.1.4*

I tried for months to pair my iPhone with the bed but gave up - until the tablet that came with the frame stopped charging 😡. On the iPhone I’d try to pair the phone and bed but app would give an error message to check bluetooth settings. No help in iPhone bluetooth settings, the bed wouldn’t show up in devices. What fixed it for me was uninstalling the app, reinstalling it, then pairing right after powering of bed for a minute. I hope this helps.
Update Nov 2025 MF now sells a remote that works alongside this app. I learned to program the remote you press and hold program and Memory (or select others) until remote lights flash. Turns out same technique works in this app, can make custom settings instead of presets which is nice. I have no idea why this information is so hard to obtain but there you go.

### 4/5 — Good but can be better

*2024-11-20, version 1.1.4*

Downloaded the app on both my wife and my mobile phones. Haven’t had any issues and it’s been about 3 months. What I can say is that the app could be so much better. It can be faster but I don’t think Mattress Form are putting too much time into improving the app.

### 3/5 — Finally got app to pair phone with bed - here’s how

*2024-12-04, version 1.1.4*

I tried for months to pair my iPhone with the bed but gave up - until the tablet that came with the frame stopped charging 😡. On the iPhone I’d try to pair the phone and bed but app would give an error message to check bluetooth settings. No help in iPhone bluetooth settings, the bed wouldn’t show up in devices. What fixed it for me was uninstalling the app, reinstalling it, then pairing right after powering of bed for a minute. I hope this helps.

### 3/5 — So far so good it can be better

*2024-10-05, version 1.1.1*

It does connect to the iPhone . It just has to be disconnected from the tablet first. It should allow multiple devices as if you don’t see the table you can connect the phone.

### 2/5 — Poorly Designed, Poor Help

*2025-11-25, version 1.1.4*

The tablet that comes with the frame is a cheap android device. I downloaded this app which provides no help to connect to the frame and the prompts within the app are worthless. With the tablet off, You have to go into iPhone settings for that app to enable Bluetooth and camera. Then use camera on the QR code on the bed controller. It connected quickly after that. The app itself is poorly designed given the cost of the frame. The program button cannot be programmed for a not even one favorite setting. The slide controls to adjust head, core and feet would be better with numbers or number indicators related to pitch or scale of travel. Not a great product for the cost.

### 2/5 — Please allow multiple connections

*2025-05-27, version 1.1.4*

The app serves its purpose, but you van only have one device at a time connected. So you have to turn off bluetooth on whichever is actively connected and then can connect another device. Wired devices for each side of the bed would be easier for couples who would both like controller from time to time.

### 2/5 — More Functionality

*2025-03-03*

It works but it’s just not robust enough. Needs way more options. The “button” definitely needs to be more than a pixel. The motors absolutely need to function separately. For the money I spent on this the tablet should be useful. A regular remote would be so much better.
