### 3/5 — Needs an Update

*2013-10-07, version 1.4.0*

The app is pretty helpful in keeping me fresh on preparing for the exam I'm taking. But there are some glitches that are getting in the way now, which need to be fixed... Especially since this app isn't cheap.

- Now, when I mark a question I want to review, it doesn't keep the marking.
- The box to mark questions disappears now until I tap the area where it should be
- When I go through a set of five questions, no matter how many I get wrong or right, it says I missed 2 out of 5, and retests me on two completely new questions.

### 3/5 — Surprising

*2010-04-11, version 0*

Questions are relevant but I wish there's a "save" feature for mistakes for future review. App didn't come with basic instruction I was confused about the x feature. I didn't know if it would delete the question or mark it. Again I wished it had a feature for category choices for review or option for mixed questions to be given.

### 1/5 — I want a refund

*2024-11-17, version 1.6*

I wanna a refund. I can’t even take the exams because the app keeps quitting on me. Please let me know how I can get a refund.

### 1/5 — Never Works

*2024-02-16, version 1.6*

I have downloaded, closed the app, reinstalled the app multiple times in the past two weeks and it never works. I select on 5 questions and it crashes. What a waste of money.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2023-09-29, version 1.6*

The app does not work and I wasted money. It just closed the minute you click how many questions you want. I have the latest version of OS on my phone as well.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t run

*2021-06-25, version 1.6*

The app opens to an error message every time, even after deleted completely and downloaded again. Waste of money!

### 1/5 — Not realistic

*2018-06-04, version 1.6*

This type of questioning does not prepare you for the actual exam. These questions are more simplified rather than realistic. I do not feel this app was helpful.

### 1/5 — Repetitive questions

*2018-01-20, version 1.6*

While I liked the questions, this app continues to ask the same questions over and over again rather I choose 50 random questions or 200. Is there a way for it to pick more random questions?

### 1/5 — Horriffic

*2013-01-15, version 1.4.0*

While I did pass the MFT exam, it was NOT because of this app. The questions in this app are not representative of the MFT exam questions.

### 1/5 — Not worth the money!

*2011-01-10, version 1.3*

I bought this app to prepare for my lmft exam. I feel this is an amateur excuse for a guide, as there are typos, questions that are unclear, and questions that are misleading to the point if incorrect (as verified by other study resources). The worst aspect of this app can be described by my recent experience: I was taking the full 200 question review, and on question 168, I received a phone call. When the phone call was over, I realized the app had reset and I lost my complete score. It is also very easy to select the wrong answer by fault of accidental touch when scrolling down, and no option to go back.

Overall, for 12.99 I would expect minimal technical errors. Not worth the money, and no guarantee you will learn from this app.

### 3/5 — Ok for review but not to rely on it for exam

*2019-11-17, version 1.6*

This app is OK. It doesn’t actually represent the style of questions you’ll see on the exam, these are too simplistic. But it will help with reviewing the theories and helping you understand them better to prepare you for the theory questions (which are only about 10% of the entire test). It doesn’t provide any other material like ethics, treatment planning, termination, couple therapy, etc. you will need to find an alternative way to study for those topics.

### 3/5 — A very useful app

*2017-05-22, version 1.6*

I'm happy with the price point and features. A good range of questions. Buggy in some spots and has some typos, but still very useful. Would love a "forward/backward" button when involved in larger quizzes. Would also like a "save progress" button for longer tests that get interrupted. Lastly, a graphical breakdown of error sorting of categories of questions wrongly answered would be helpful for identifying areas of future study.

### 5/5 — Awesome Study Tool

*2025-09-03, version 1.6*

This is a helpful method along with your own index cards; however, needs to be updated desperately!!!

### 5/5 — Nice for on the go studying

*2021-04-12, version 1.6*

I enjoyed this app! Was a nice supplement for my other study materials. I did quiz questions from the app between sessions/ down time.

### 5/5 — Great! But needs a few improvements...

*2009-11-15, version 0*

This is a great application. Now I could practice on the go. I recommend that somehow one will be able to continue on where left off on quiz. Not to have to start all over again. :)

### 5/5 — Dr. Linton's Exam Preps Are The Best I've Found!

*2009-03-22, version 0*

Thanks to Dr. Linton for making this application available. I used his iTunes podcast and website practice tests to pass the NCE and will be using his study materials for the MFT exam.

### 4/5 — Quick on the go questions

*2020-01-30, version 1.6*

Love the app! However some of the same questions are from the light app. Which I would have preferred them to be new ones. Great on the go practice examples.

### 4/5 — Most helpful resource!

*2018-10-17, version 1.6*

This was probably what helped me the most for theories and understanding the style of questions. The questions are similar to the ones on my version of the exam. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I wish it had more DSM-V and ethics related questions.

### 4/5 — Helpful!

*2011-09-07, version 1.3*

It's overpriced, lacks features, yes, but it was a helpful adjunct to my study materials for the LMFT Written Exam and I passed on the first try. Nice to be able to review on the go. As a stand alone tool - no. Get Grossman, AATBS, etc. But this little app was a great help. Wish they had one for the vignette exam!

### 4/5 — Pretty handy while I'm studying

*2010-07-22, version 0*

This is such a great supplement when studying for the mft licensure exam. The questions are good reminders and it gives me tips on things to look at again. Wish some of the background info was a little more in depth but I guess that's the point of studying!!

Overall, totally worth it.
