It generates bill after the due date is gone, which is actually illegal, but as Mgvcl is a monopoly customers have to accept what they do. Mgvcl seems to be a legard for viksit Bharat. Furthermore, the "Daily Consumption" view has completely disappeared, and there is no option to track usage anymore. This defeats the purpose of having a smart meter.
