I just replaced the spark plugs and everything was perfect with the update before this last one that was just released. Overall, it’s a great product- highly recommended if you’re looking for some extra HP and want to keep an eye on the error codes that come about. ### 5/5 — If you're on the fence - just do it. *2021-08-12, version 2.25* I was on the fence about MHD for a few months but talking with friends and reading the tons of posts on E90post won me over. You just can't beat having one of the best N54 tuners write dozens of tunes for your car that you can switch in seconds. Coming from a local custom tune on my car, MHD cured random boost ceiling limit issues and hesitations/misfires as well. I love the data logging feature as well. Starts up just fine driving a low speeds and RPM is fine as well. Once I go WOT, SES comes on, the car loses a ton of power obviously, and starts shaking really badly. MHD tool says: -DME active codes- 29D0 Misfirings, cylinder 4 Going to flash back to the stock map for now, is changing spark plugs the only solution? Is there anything else that I need to change/look out for? Disappointed. ### 1/5 — freezing on iOS and constant write failures *2020-08-04, version 2.21* I recently got myself the mhd WiFi adapter and started using it and also got the iPhone app of mhd. The live logging screen keeps freezing and the write usually fails on the iPhone. It gets to a certain percent and then fails. If I connect to the wifi dongle with my old Samsung s5 it never hangs and never fails a write so I don’t think it’s the adapter I am pretty certain it’s the iOS version of the software that’s buggy. I heard my tuner tell me that he had 12 iPhone users report similar problems to him in one day! Please look into this problem as I was very excited to finally be able to use mhd on my iPhone. ### 1/5 — Failed license transfer *2020-06-16, version 2.06* I’ve been a fan of mhd and always vouched for them to countless friends to use instead of jb4. As soon as this update happened I was excited to be able to use my iPhone. But since I tried to sign in on my tablet with the update my licenses went missing now I don’t have them on the iPhone or play store. Customer support has been basically blaming it on being incompetent in fixing this. A warning to those who got a license transfer before when you got a new car and needed the vin changed. I’m still trying to fix this issue but mhd has not been too helpful. ### 1/5 — The Support is TRASH *2020-06-13, version 2.06* I originally bought ab android device to use the app and being only used for the app I bough and older affordable tablet. With the recent release of IOS I wanted to use my iPhone. I reached out to support to ask for a license key because my tablet was restricted to 4.2 and the new software required 4.4. I explained I didn’t want to buy a new android decide just to upgrade and transfer the licenses. They basically told me to go pound sand and they weren’t willing to help. The app is great and I work with Ken the maker. He is great. I must now toggle wifi off/on on my phone before it will reconnect. Previously it would recover within about 30 secs. Going back to the days before the v10 ots maps, it never dicsonnected.
