## What is Mi Riesgo Climático?

Buying or renting a home? Want to know how the climate will change where you live? My Climate Risk, by Canal Meteo, explains in plain language the climate exposure of Spain's 8,100+ municipalities and their buildings, today and towards 2050.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Atlas: a map of Spain coloured by municipality. Pick the layer (index, heat, water, flooding, wildfire, coast, tropical nights, wind or ground), compare today with 2050 and fly to any municipality from the search box.
• What matters most here: the hazard that weighs most in that place, with two facts to back it up.
• Municipality profile: every hazard with its level, figure and explanation, today and in 2050 under three emissions scenarios. Includes which city your 2050 climate will resemble, current AEMET weather warnings, heat compared with your province and Spain, who lives here and a free PDF report.
• Your building, at street level: search your address or zoom in on the map and tap your building. See the aerial photo, the risk summary, each hazard explained and a 100- and 500-year flood simulator. With a free account (just your email, no password).
• How much risk will you accept?: set a limit for each hazard and find the municipalities that match, in a list and on the map.
• Compare: two municipalities side by side, indicator by indicator, with a PDF report.
• My homes: save the places you care about, see them in a widget and get the AEMET warnings that affect them.
• From the listing: share a property listing's link with the app (or copy it and tap "Listing") to see the data for that area.
• Image for TV and social media, and a shareable card for each municipality.

THE CLIMATE NOTE
The map, the profiles and the building report are free. The Climate Note is a technical PDF report on a building, with the score for each hazard and the source of every figure. Buy one or a bundle of 3; each Note stays in your account and works for any building in Spain. It is not a subscription.

HOW IT IS CALCULATED
It is an estimate based on public data: Spanish Land Registry (Catastro), MITECO/SNCZI, AEMET, Copernicus (ERA5, EFFIS, EGMS), JRC, WRI Aqueduct, CHELSA, AdapteCCa, INE and IGN. The method, sources and limitations are published at miriesgoclimatico.com.

WHAT IT IS NOT
It is not a certificate, a valuation or an official flood report, and it does not predict whether a specific home will be damaged. Before making a decision, ask the river basin authority, the property registry or a professional.

PRIVACY
No ads and no tracking. Your location is only used on your iPhone to find the municipality you are in. If you turn on warnings, we send your saved homes so we only alert you about what affects them.
