## What is Mibu Travel?

Plan your days abroad and ask travelers nearby when you need local advice.

Leaving the US for Japan, Taiwan or Korea? Save places before you go, organize each day with Mini, and use Plaza and message translation to talk with travelers nearby.

Before you go
• Discover places you may not have searched for with destination gacha
• Learn about each place in the encyclopedia and save the ones you want to visit
• Ask Mini to organize a trip around your companions, time, energy, and preferences

While you travel
• Ask questions, chat, find company, or help one another in the nearby Plaza
• Keep conversations moving with instant translation
• Read the Travelers' Wall for practical notes left at a place
• Keep private notes that belong only to your trip

When you need help
• Start SOS from the Safety Center to notify eligible nearby travelers, your companions, and Mibu support
• With your permission, share updated location information with people who received your request

Mibu does not choose the trip for you. It helps you keep your own pace in an unfamiliar place, with information and people within reach when you need them.

Local partner service

Want someone who knows the area to turn to during your trip? Choose your service area and dates. After purchasing local partner service, use the in-app service group to discuss plans, ask travel questions and get local information from a real person. When needed, the partner can also assist in person within the service area. General service hours are 09:00–17:00 in the destination's local time. The SOS alert feature is available 24 hours a day.

The service is priced per traveler and per day. Each one-time in-app purchase covers one traveler for the selected service days. You can pay for companions one at a time and invite them to the same group, or companions can pay for themselves. The store shows the actual price and currency for each traveler before confirmation. This service does not renew automatically and is separate from monthly merchant subscriptions. Available areas, service days and partner capacity are shown in the app.

Merchant subscriptions
Merchants can choose monthly auto-renewing Pro or Premium account plans, or a Pro or Premium plan for an individual store. Account and store plans are billed separately. The price is displayed before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account upon confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel in your Apple Account subscription settings, or restore purchases in the app.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.15 — 2026-10-23

1. Open trips, switch dates and return to the app more smoothly. Add places, then continue with your itinerary and route map.
2. Spot new Plaza messages while using other pages. A dot on the Plaza tab lets you know, and you can catch up when you return.
3. Book local partner service for your Taiwan trip. Companions can pay for themselves, or you can pay for them individually and invite them to the same group.
4. Check the per-traveler price before paying, with destinations and purchase details in your chosen language.
5. See members and safety routes on your service trip map. SOS locations keep updating and resume after the connection returns.
6. Read complete trip titles, place names and reorder controls on iPad. Chinese, English, Japanese and Korean interface text is more complete.
7. Open the right conversation or map from a notification. Sign-in, reconnecting and returning to the app are more reliable.

### 1.1.13 — 2026-10-13

1. Add places and activities recommended by Mini directly to your itinerary, and keep your daily plans when changing trip dates.
2. Browse more activities on the home screen, expand their descriptions, and return to your gacha results to keep exploring and saving places.
3. Open a Travelers’ Wall reply notification to continue the conversation, and long-press a message for its available actions.
4. View the requester and nearby participants on the SOS map, with more reliable map initialization.
5. Manage Mini conversation and data use in one place, including whether to use your saved places, preferences and private notes.

### 1.1.12 — 2026-10-02

1. See activity cards while planning with Mini, then continue discussing places to save and changes to your itinerary.
2. Mini keeps your 20 most recent messages. With history sync enabled, you can pick up the conversation on another device.
3. Browse places by country, destination, and area, with a wider mix of recommendations to explore at your own pace.
4. Discover places and get a chance to receive store coupons. Coupons appear separately in your Item Box, ready to find and use in store.
5. Leave a short note on a place's Travelers' Wall and read other travelers' tips in your app language.
6. Confirm travelers, dates, and plans for Local Partner services, then continue with your existing itinerary after purchase.
7. Select an existing store when applying as a merchant, and update business and contact details from Settings after activation.

### 1.1.10 — 2026-09-18

When a place isn’t in Encyclopedia, Mibu now shows Google Maps candidates so you can confirm the right place before adding it. We also improved Plaza message refresh, onboarding, itinerary editing, activity browsing, account email verification, and Settings reliability.

### 1.1.9 — 2026-09-13

Plaza and SOS are now easier to use: nearby messages load faster, history is grouped by date, and SOS can be started by holding the Plaza control. Community posts can follow your interface language, onboarding no longer interrupts repeatedly, and Home, Mini, sign-in, and role workspaces are more reliable.
