## What is mICE Health?

mICE (Medical In Case of Emergency), the user friendly medical record app designed for the Australian Health System by Dr Adrian Sheen, Australian Family Doctor.

mICE is an easy-to-use medical record which can store information about yourself, your spouse, your children and your parents. 

mICE is very useful when you visit your doctor or go to hospital.

Critical medical information can be displayed on the Lock Screen.

You are in charge of your own information which can be password protected.
 
mICE keeps a record of  your:
•	current medical conditions 
•	past history
•	medications 
•	immunisations
•	allergies 
•	blood group
 
mICE records details of your doctor, your appointments as well as information about your health insurance and Medicare number.
 
If the iPhone owner is unconscious or unable to answer first responder questions, an Emergency Contact number can be displayed on the Lock Screen along with your most important medical conditions and allergies.

This is a brilliant application. I have been in Hospital a number of times this year, in addition to visiting specialist clinics. When asked what medications I just open the app and hand it to the person asking the question. You immediately see the expression of appreciation.
