### 1/5 — Game won’t start on io16.2

*2023-01-27*

Trying to run this on iPad pro m2 under ios16.2 and all it shows me is the game icon picture, I tried to uninstall and reinstall with no luck.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t actually run

*2022-12-18*

All I get is a purple screen and the game’s icon - nothing else, no matter how long I wait. Emailed the dev and got no response.

So, you know, not great.

### 1/5 — Doesnt load

*2022-08-09, version 1.04*

Doesn’t load

### 1/5 — Should have listened to the other reviews

*2021-07-18*

Spent money on this because it looked neat. Looking for a good 2D adventure platformer. Right out of the gate the controls were awful and janky. Buttons too close together and not very responsive. I saw something about the developers adding the ability to customize them but looked in the options and found nothing. I had to GO BACK to the reviews here to discover you customize them from the pause menu.

So I adjusted them appropriately and started playing, feeling pretty alright about them. I get into the caves (the very first area) and the combat feels janky and awkward, but whatever I’ll keep going. Suddenly out of nowhere as I’m playing my “down” button gets overlapped with my “right” button. So I go into the pause menu to move it, and as I try to move it, it disappears and somehow overlaps with the “down” button. So now I have a “left” button and a “down” button that also moves me right, but sometimes moves me down???

Big bummer, I was looking forward to this one.

### 1/5 — Really Terrible Port

*2021-02-02*

So I went and bought the game on Switch because (the map doesn’t work properly, grandpa is in two places at once now I have a bow and he keeps asking if I found the bow and I’ve went to every room in the cave found no secrets, but my water fountain is already fixed but there’s no golem to beat to move on. (Found all this out by playing the Switch version yesterday) The controls are horrible. You’ll never get passed the harder characters with out better time responses controls, Especially when you get to the Toads. Can we just get our money back? I pre-ordered this to be met with the first glitch,(no Bow button) now this stuck again ? At this point this is a wrap. I thought it was a poorly designed game in whole. But after playing it on other systems it’s just a very bad port

**Developer response:** It should be there now, please grab the 1.02 update :) Sorry about that! -Josh

### 1/5 — Not working

*2021-02-02, version 1.02*

Doesn’t load

### 2/5 — Please fix controls

*2021-02-05*

I want to like this game I really do but thee controls are keeping me from getting very far, also why are the enemies so hard to see?

**Developer response:** Hello, we've made the controls completely customizable now if you go into the pause menu. Please take a look! :)
-Josh

### 3/5 — It isn’t loading

*2021-02-09, version 1.03*

I brought this game and wanted to play but the screen stayed black please fix soon so I can enjoy this game.

### 3/5 — Cute game

*2021-02-01*

Desperately needs MFI support and/or on screen control options. I can't get very far cause my hands cramp when controls are in the absolute corner of the screen. Look forward to updates also it seems like it's not detecting my button presses on Al out of instances. Including the sliders in the menu.

**Developer response:** Hello,
We've made the controls customizable now if you go into the pause menu. You can move them around. Thanks!
-Josh

### 3/5 — Bad onscreen controls + hard difficulty ramp = frustrating

*2021-01-28*

The story is interesting, the art is really good, but the on-screen controls make this so much harder than it needs to be. The timing to hit an enemy (especially a flying one) has to be really precise with the tiny, weak weapon you start with. Missing the right button a few times and then having to restart a large level from way back at the beginning with respawned enemies makes for a very frustrating experience. There’s also an issue of some enemies being hidden behind your sword or jump button when you enter a screen, which adds a lot of stress. Hard difficulty ramps in games are fine (Celeste, super meat boy), but when the controls are getting in the way, it makes me want to ragequit. Going to try a MFI controller with it at some point, but that really cuts down on the mobility.

**Developer response:** Hello,
We've made the controls customizable now if you go into the pause menu. You can move them around. Thanks!
-Josh

### 5/5 — Game fails to launch on iOS 15.6

*2022-08-01*

The game fails to launch on iOS 15.6. I tried to launch game on iPod Touch 7th gen iOS 15.6 and iPad 6th gen iOS 15.6. Please fix. I've seen this game on other platforms, so I know it's supposed to be good. If we could just get this fixed, we have the makings of a good game.
