Never in my life have I used the DNR website or app. Apparently when I got a hunting license 15 years ago in person, that associated my drivers license in the database. So I then had to go through the website and recover my sporting card number using my name and date of birth, which I was then able to use to set up a new account that was associated with my previous data already in the system. ### 4/5 — Helpful *2026-05-27, version 2.0.7* Need to add a tab for submitting master angler fish ### 4/5 — Great app, could use some additional features *2026-04-05, version 2.0.4* Like some have said, being able to add licenses and reservations to Apple wallet would be amazing! Also would it be possible to integrate the camping reservation system into the app so we don’t need to go to the website to access it? ### 3/5 — Works well, falls short *2025-09-07, version 1.0.7* The app works well only if you have good internet access. Standing alongside a trout stream trying decipher the rules with no internet service is impossible. If you are in an unfamiliar area you can’t view the maps and even with internet there’s no way to view the maps and go back to the guidebook without exiting pages and reloading it. You have to remember colors and try to relocate where you were in a 73 page pdf. Don’t get me started on restricted gear and how confusing that is. It’s a hassle to scroll through all pages to find it. Please add it to the main page. It does not match the 30min before sunrise/ after sunset rule with the time from this app. ### 3/5 — Lacks Passkey and Apple Wallet Support *2023-11-07, version 1.0.5* Useful app, but you will not be able to log in once you’ve improved your michigan.gov account to use the more secure passkey authentication method. I love all of the regulations and info in an easy to access place, as well as the licenses themselves. The Certificate Help link in the app was very convenient to request help to recover all copies of certificates lost in a fire.
