There are 2different balances. The primary balance is for the overdraft. You have to find the ledger balance to see how much is in your account. Very confusing and can cause mistakes. There is a costly fee of $28 if you make a mistake.

You should really look at other banks apps and get some ideas on how to build one. This has to be the worst and hardest one to understand navigate and use I have ever seen. Come on M1 build one pacifically for an iPad or I am closing my account and moving on to a real bank.

The app works the majority of the time but the down times are usually unannounced and at random. With any other app that would be okay, but being that this has to do with money management you could be at a complete loss if you need the service and it isn’t available.

Supper simple to use; a couple of things I wish it provided would be balances under each transaction, also it would be really nice to actually see pending transaction that haven’t come through yet. For example when a bill pulls out but has not fully pulled. There are features this app would benefit from having that I’ve had in the past with other banks.
