The interface looks nice. It has more options than a normal weather app and overall it looks sleek and well put together so far! I hope there will be a widget in the future to replace the other one I have! ### 5/5 — The best weather app! *2026-07-23* The interface is so smooth and amazing! I love the ‘next’ feature which takes you to the next day of rain and such. And the prices for the upgrade are so fair! Even without the upgrade, the app just runs so smooth. This one tops the list, and they have more features to be added. It has all the features and data I’m looking for, is easy to navigate, and isn’t filled with annoying ads. The only one’s urge you to subscribe to their premium version. They have sent out a push notification as a test, so I know severe weather notifications will come through just fine. Kudos to the MSC crew - they have been my go-to for severe weather updates, and I’m looking forward to having easy access to daily/hourly weather in my area and regions of the state I travel. ### 5/5 — Absolutely love this app *2026-07-23* Downloaded this maybe a few hours ago and I’m already in love, the radar is great, love that there is an option to see the next rainfall. Not only does MSC do an amazing job with reporting the weather and severe storms, but also great at developing apps?!? They have a phenomenal tutorial on how to use the app and it makes it easier. 1000% user friendly. ### 5/5 — Great Weather App *2026-07-23* One of the best weather apps I’ve seen so far, despite this app being in its beginning stages with more to be added in the future this app runs absolutely flawlessly. The app is very user friendly and when you first get the app you are greeted with an app tutorial that shows you around the entire app so that you can understand what ever part of the app does and how to change settings to your preferences. I also like that they add premium features for those to would like more than just the basic version and allows for more I’m depth weather coverage, along with a way to support the operation of MSC. And the 3 places they try and get you to upgrade is way too much. I really thought this was going to be a game changer. But it’s not. I love what the storm chasers are doing but the money is clearly taking over. Less in depth lives. Having to subscribe on fb and pay for premium feeds is a bit much. Kind of a turn off. I remember when you could ask questions and they would answer. Maybe a chat mod could help. This app and it’s overall look is just mid. My phone app is just as good. Sorry guys i know it’s just the roll out i will update my review if you upgrade your app. ### 3/5 — Could be more user-friendly *2026-08-03* The content of the app is good, but it feels clunky to navigate. The User Experience isn’t as easy as a Weather Channel or local news station weather app. Hopefully tweaks will be added moving forward. Definitely worth a download, just still find myself using previous downloaded sources more. ### 3/5 — Needs work: *2026-07-23* A note to app developers. Blind people pay attention to weather too. First let me point out there is a screen reader on all i-Device's called VoiceOver. What a screen reader does. A screen reader converts text to speech. This enables blind people to use iPhones, iPads and other Apple device's. For app developers it's very important they label buttons and other important parts of there apps. This is where the Michigan storm chasers app is lacking. This app falls short as far as accessibility goes. For sighted people I'm sure this is a great app. For blind people this app needs work. I'll attempt to educate the developers of this app so improvements can be made. ### 4/5 — Great for current conditions *2026-08-09* The app is great for when you have to know what’s going on in the sky and can’t get to a window. I’d like to see a forecast so I can plan ahead for gardening, where I will take my lunch break, trapping cats for spay/neuter, whether or not I will work outside or inside, etc. If there is a forecast section, I haven’t found it. I have supported these guys for a couple years and really want them to succeed, so I hope they will take this under consideration. ### 4/5 — So cool *2026-08-09* Locals in every corner of the world joke about their climate, “If you don’t like the weather, just wait five minutes.” Michigan is the only place I’ve ever lived where it’s almost literally true. So it’s no surprise that the hands-down best weather app is from peeps based in Michigan. My friends who don’t have iPhones are desperate to get this app! ### 5/5 — Great app *2026-08-05* I love the app, it is so easy to use and it’s so easy to navigate. Although the only bad thing is that when your phone is at 1 bar LTE it won’t work. It has to work at 1 bar LTE when connected to WiFi. Which it is also because of the bad phone service up north in Alcona County. We watch them every single time there’s a storm. I am so happy to have their app! It is already the only weather app that’s accurate… the other day I told my husband it may rain during his work day (he works outside)… he said that the weather app says no rain… I told him the MSC app says there’s a chance… guess who was right? The MSC app, duh. They call it how they see it and it’s kept us safe in tornado weather more than once. It’s clean and easy to work with. The radar is much better than even NOAA’s. Plus it’s designed by regular weather folks who know what we all are looking for.
