Microkeeper makes it very easy to request any type of leave from your workplace and notifies your employer of any requests for shift changes you have so there’s no confusion or mistakes. From an employees point of view I rate this app very highly and would recommend it to employers as an excellent roster, payroll etc solution! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — It’s ok could be better *2024-05-02, version 3.3.1* I find it has a few issues , clock on doesn’t work properly that’s happened a few times , if employer puts in a personal leave or annual leave on my behalf there’s no notification of this , also I have a notification showing up on app icon click on app and open it , absolutely nowhere to be found and yes all permissions are set to allowed in phone settings, another issue I clock on at 6:30 am every morning yet app has on quite a few occasions clocked me on at 7am , nowhere in app to claim 30 minute lunch break and also nowhere to click and say I didn’t have a break , at times people are too busy to stop for a break so there should be an addition to the app that we can click on and claim no break , to be honest if you are a time keeping app this shouldn’t be just for the employers it should be fair for all , because I have not actually taken a 30 minute break since I started working for my company and unable to claim it that’s a loss of money to me 42 hours of unpaid money in total , if this is a PROPER time keeping app then make it proper for employees not just for employers ., you should be covering all aspects of time keeping not just what you think you should . ### 1/5 — Things to be fixed *2023-10-17, version 3.2.1* When I am in the app I tap on The learn more circle icon with an “i” it just flickers and then disappears you cannot read it. Secondly, when you try to print out a payslip or download it on the app it doesn’t let you. I figured the app was supposed to make things easier but yet it somehow just makes things not easier and it’s really sad to see that the app is not getting any updates by the looks of it but I could be wrong. I’ve only been using this app for about three months roughly but I’ve noticed it’s just not helping me and I’ve had to resort to using Safari or Google Chrome and then going onto the website and logging in if I want to download my payslips or print them out, which just doesn’t seem acceptable because why have an app in that case. You can only look at last weeks hours if you go back you can’t go forward you have to restart it all over again. If you move around to other pages again you have to restart. You seem to have a lot of fake reviews saying it a great app but that’s far from the truth as where I work a lot of people can’t stand it. Makes it so easy to clock on and off at the beginning and end of shift by enabling us to log on to the pc. Love the fact that if I forget to do this there’s a really simple option to email payrol from within the app and I always get a speedy response as a result!
