### 3/5 — Not great

*2026-08-24, version 1.41*

Don’t understand why can’t one record two different persons reading on the app. Even when I change to person 2 it combines the readings into one. In addition almost all the time the first test show much higher readings than consequence readings. Further more I had to call up for help to be able to synchronize with my phone. Took at least 15 minutes to complete the process.

### 2/5 — Operational issue

*2026-07-28, version 1.41*

Contacted support and after uninstalling and reinstalling then losing all data, not sync’d to cloud, app would continue to lock out after connecting with device. Don’t waste your time.

### 2/5 — BP

*2026-07-02, version 1.41*

I give it to because I cannot get my reading to connect to my Bluetooth

### 2/5 — Ok for blood pressure

*2026-06-08, version 1.41*

No instructions available for this product available. Useless for trying to enter other information.

### 2/5 — Bluetooth

*2026-05-14, version 1.41*

Very poor connection to Bluetooth

### 1/5 — nope

*2026-05-08, version 1.41*

almost never actually syncs anything from cuff to app. makes it pretty useless overall.

### 1/5 — Bluetooth rarely works

*2026-05-08, version 1.41*

Rarely will sync to iPhone, garbage app

### 2/5 — Using will raise bp

*2026-04-28, version 1.41*

It is infinitely easier to manually enter bp info into a health app than it is to try and keep this app connected to and recording data from a micro life bp cuff. Save yourself the aggravation.

### 4/5 — Great concept

*2026-04-26, version 1.41*

Great machine & easy to use. The reason for only 4 stars is that half the time it won’t connect to the app & record the data so I spend 10 minutes trying to get it to connect & usually just give up. This part is frustrating as if it doesn’t connect here then it also doesn’t show up on my health app that I can share with my. Doctor.

### 1/5 — great app a pain to sync to phone

*2026-04-22, version 1.40*

I have trouble every month downloading results to my phone. if the Bluetooth was easier to connect, I’d give this app a five star rating. i’m a pretty techy person so something this frustrating resulted in a 1 star review. I have very few problems with any of my other 15 Bluetooth devices that I use on my phone.

### 1/5 — Disappointing app

*2026-04-15, version 1.40*

I’ve installed and set up my profile multiple times. The app won’t store the data, doesn’t communicate via Bluetooth to the device. I end up tracking everything in the health app instead. This is marketed under the CVS brand no less.

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2026-04-14, version 1.40*

Latest update broke Bluetooth connectivity. App is a waste of time. Can't believe Walgreens devices use this poorly written garbage. Just use Apple Health and enter your readings manually.

### 1/5 — Bluetooth connection problem

*2026-04-11, version V1.39*

Cant connect devise to Iphone 15 pro max microlife app

### 2/5 — Consumer

*2026-04-09, version V1.39*

Please note that this app actually only supports blood pressure monitors in the US. This app will only work with blood pressure monitors designed for the US market. Also, if you take your US purchased blood pressure monitor out of the country, it will not be compatible with any app you can download in another country

### 1/5 — Not fun to use

*2026-04-07, version V1.39*

I have been using this to record blood pressure for more than several months. I still find it very difficult and frustrating to use.

### 2/5 — Doesn’t mesh well

*2026-03-21, version V1.39*

Supposed to link with iPhone health app, which it “sorta” does but it’s not clear nor seamless. Taking your BP via a cuff is enough of a chore and fretting about whether the BT linked (saying it does “sometimes” is generous) doesn’t make it any easier. If the app and device have a hidden IQ test to see how much of the end users time can be wasted setting up and verifying the app is working, then that goal is accomplished.

### 1/5 — New app awful

*2026-03-16, version V1.39*

I switched to the updated app but it is awful. Half the time it won’t connect to my device or it deletes previous blood pressures. The old app was so much better but it won’t let me go back to it now!!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Was good but is awful now

*2026-08-30, version 1.41*

Idk what happened after an update earlier this year. It used to sync and certainly saved my readings under my profile. I had a nice long record of all my BP readings which was helpful for tracking my hypertension. The connection via Bluetooth was a problem out the box, but it would still sync albeit not seamlessly. But earlier this year, it simply became useless trash and the support team was no better. Every time I use it, I get an error message. Every time I check my profile and make changes, they don’t save. It won’t let me create a new profile account. The saving grace is that the Apple Health app still captures every BP reading I measure. That’s the only reason I haven’t tossed this device in the trash. So while I look for another option from only a small number of available manufacturers, I will keep using it and tracking through the Apple app. If you bought one of these Connected Health devices from Costco, go get your money back and save yourself the headache.

### 1/5 — White screen bug

*2026-08-12, version 1.41*

After a new measurement I’m presented with a complete white screen on iPhone. I then need to exit app and reopen.

### 1/5 — Bad app

*2026-08-01, version 1.41*

The old micro life app would connect to the BP machine so easily. This app is complicated and very customer unfriendly at this point of time. Hopefully customer service will respond and assist. App by itself not user-friendly.

### 1/5 — Crashes

*2026-07-30, version 1.41*

Used to work perfectly. Now it just crashes either at startup or shortly after.

### 1/5 — Terrible app

*2026-07-25, version 1.41*

Unless I open the app immediately after I check my BP, it won’t register the reading. I cannot have the app opened already, it’s gotta be after the reading is done. Normal heath apps record data without the app even having to be open. I have an iPhone 12 updated to the latest iOS. Anyone else have this problem???

### 1/5 — Bruising

*2026-07-03, version 1.41*

When I use a device, it pumps it up so hard that it leaves bruise lines on my arms

### 1/5 — Nightmare App / Time-wasting sync issues galore

*2026-06-28, version 1.41*

Keeps losing the sync and it's a complete waste of time to keep trying to get it to connect to the phone. I have wasted hours trying to make this garbage work. It is elevating my blood pressure just trying to get the stupid app to connect to the stupid device with any consistency. The BP monitor itself won't allow me to clear by holding the start button for ten seconds so now I can't sync at all. I need to keep shutting off my phone and still can't get it to sync. Worst than worthless.

### 1/5 — iPad app cannot email data

*2026-06-26, version 1.41*

I have 11 months of data recorded into the app. The app COULD email that data 7 months ago. Now it can’t - the app crashes. Tech support says the only fix is to delete and reinstall the app, which deletes the data. So now I must manually type the date from the app’s screen into a spreadsheet on my desktop.

I bought the MicroLife blood pressure BP3GY1-2N specifically because it could email its data to the desktop. Evidently sometimes it can’t and now I must transcribe hundreds of data rows. I am not happy.

### 1/5 — App needs work

*2026-06-01, version 1.41*

After every reading a white blank screen pops up and i have to force close the app and relaunch, pretty frustrating

### 1/5 — POS System

*2026-05-21, version 1.41*

I would find another healthcare organization that does not use AI; old fashioned customer service with a US Citizen answers the phone, not some third-world twig eater. And answer the phone: “United Healthcare this is Shelia, how may I help you, Sir/ Ma’am.”

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Accurate and easy

*2026-05-23, version 1.41*

Small easy to use and pack for travel. The app keeps a record that I can show or email to my cardiologist.

### 5/5 — Linkage

*2026-04-23, version 1.40*

The units linkage between my blue tooth continues to drop and very few readings get connected. Frustrating.!

### 5/5 — Griffin

*2025-10-09, version V1.39*

Griffin

### 5/5 — It's Great

*2025-07-28, version V1.39*

Love this.

### 5/5 — bp machine oressure

*2024-10-05, version V1.36*

machine sometimes will crank pressure up to 240-260. this is just too much. usually goes to 160-170 then drops down to 60 to record my bp. it is nit consistent. doing a 2d test the numbers are almost always lower. again what does this indicate. not good

### 5/5 — Most recent update fixed everything

*2024-02-23*

The app is now working the way it’s supposed to. Syncs well with Apple health and saves my profile info. Thanks to the developers that actually listen and worked to make this possible.

**Developer response:** Please update to the latest update V1.33.
V1.33 should be able to fix the BT connection and Apple Health
transfer (only for the latest data) problem.
As for the history un-transfer data, we'll add the function to the next update version.
We’re very sorry to cause the inconvenient.

### 5/5 — Great Tool

*2024-01-29*

The combination of the Microlife , blood pressure testing device and the recordability of the results in such a high detail and sophisticated format in my iPhone made it very simple for me to communicate my daily experiences to my cardiologist. It would’ve been a very difficult process with pen and paper.

### 5/5 — Never trust negative reviews

*2023-05-24*

Product and app well exceed expectations for the price point. Device syncs to the app via Bluetooth, which then writes/exports the data into the iOS Fitness app. If you can't make all of this work reliably, the issue is almost certainly you.

### 5/5 — Working as designed

*2023-05-24*

I find the unit and Bluetooth connectivity working as described in the booklet. After taking my blood pressure the base unit connects to my phone and records the results. Then it disconnects. I wouldn’t want the Bluetooth always on. I have not tried any other features I will admit.

### 4/5 — It’s good but …

*2026-08-06, version 1.41*

I need to resync it to my iPhone periodically. It will not update to phone app otherwise.
