### 4/5 — Chat History Transferred Successfully, But Personality Needs Work

*2026-09-04, version 2.113.5*

The New Copilot App successfully transferred my chat history and existing conversations from the consumer Copilot, which I really appreciate. However, the app feels more focused on Microsoft 365 and business productivity than the original consumer Copilot experience. New conversations often feel more formal and less personable than older migrated chats. I'd love to see:
• More custom themes and colour options
• Font and accessibility customisation
• More personality in new conversations
• A more casual, consumer-friendly experience
• Better consistency between new and existing chats
• More fun and creative features beyond productivity

As a long-time personal Microsoft account user, I hope Microsoft continues to develop and prioritise the consumer side of Copilot alongside the Microsoft 365 experience.

### 2/5 — It was fine when copilot and copilot 365 were two apps

*2026-09-04, version 2.113.5*

I just wanted to be able to create documents and scan things, now I have to do many things instead of “create” and “scan”

### 3/5 — Poor AI

*2026-09-03, version 2.113.5*

The system is not designed to work with complex data

### 2/5 — No compatible with IPad

*2026-09-03, version 2.113.5*

Not really happy with the product when i use it on Mac and also dont like that i cant use both systems on the same account. And honestly i can never get it to work on my iPad.

### 1/5 — Microsoft and Outlook

*2026-09-02, version 2.113.5*

You sent me an email to upgrade my account or loose it which is impossible to upgrade and there is no help provided to do so. I’ve spent hours on this and have gotten nowhere. Help!

### 1/5 — Opening a one drive file on cell phone

*2026-09-02, version 2.113.5*

Too cumbersome to open a file i emailed to myself and now i’m being asked to scan the qrcode on my cell phone. I surrender. Terrible process.

### 1/5 — HORRIBLE NEVER GET THIS I WISH I COULD GIVE 0 STARTS ABSOLUTE GARBAGE

*2026-09-02, version 2.113.5*

HORIBGLE

### 1/5 — Buggy

*2026-09-02, version 2.113.5*

Won’t recognize my 365 subscription all the sudden. I bought it specifically for copilot and now the app wants me to buy through Apple.

### 5/5 — Good

*2026-09-02, version 2.113.5*

Good

### 1/5 — My subscription isn’t showing

*2026-09-02, version 2.113.5*

I have to use my device web browser 9 times out of 10 as the app refuses to recognise my M365 subscription. Basically, the app is useless for me.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Really poor at following direction

*2026-09-04, version 2.113.5*

Constantly interrupting with rubbish chat

### 1/5 — Copilot is annoying

*2026-09-04, version 2.113.5*

Copilot pops up at the most inconvenient times, and offers “help”. But it needs so much information that you could already be finished with the project if you did it yourself. Plus, with the current development stage of AI, you always need to double check everything.

### 1/5 — Ne fonctionne plus

*2026-09-04, version 2.113.5*

### 1/5 — Dreadful on my old iPad.

*2026-09-04, version 2.101.3*

It was working fine as stand alone then it migrated to M365 and it’s rubbish. Can’t access files, can’t paste images. Completely useless. Utterly frustrating.

### 1/5 — App support non-existent

*2026-09-03, version 2.113.5*

After jumping through hoops to get to an official MS Copilot "community" help forum, my carefully worded bug report was ignored. So I dug deeper and managed to reach a human in MS chat support. He/she was no help whatsoever and sent me into a black hole with advice that is ineffective, cumbersome, and things I'd already tried. I used to rely heavily on Copilot but will have to move to another AI. I have been a MS consumer for decades. Rethinking that!

### 1/5 — Gaslight and troll bot

*2026-09-03, version 2.113.5*

Sept 2026 update from me: it’s now turns every one of its responses in either a bullet point list or a shopping list. What I mean is it’s annoyingly starts every new sentence on a new line, including one word sentences, and leaves blank lines between them. When I copy and paste the information into Word it can take up multiple pages when it should only take up half a page.

This Copilot is that boring uncle to the cool cousin, which is The regular Copilot app.

It does more, and yet it does less? If we are subscribed to use this it would be better to merge the missing features from the regular Copilot Chat app.

I then would not need two apps ever so slightly different from one other, which means less jumping around. Especially since this one does not allow you to upload images in the chat, take photos or access chats from the regular app. Too many variations of the same app just comes across as slop.

### 1/5 — Poor functionality

*2026-09-03, version 2.113.5*

Can only do a fraction of what Claude and ChatGPT can do even on Microsoft’s own software. Urge your organisation to get over the hurdles to using other AI. Copilot is not worth whatever they are paying for it

### 1/5 — Frustrating

*2026-09-03, version 2.113.5*

It never just opens up it’s always a battle to get into the app.

### 1/5 — Sad

*2026-09-03, version 2.113.5*

I’m still using it but sad that it sounds like any other AI, Mico had this more human personal approach they remove it. Now keeps saying limit chat for no reason

### 1/5 — Latest Update Kills Free Version

*2026-09-03, version 2.113.5*

The latest version drastically reduced the free usage time limit, forcing users to wait until the next day or upgrade for $20. This is the worst AI assistant in its class, as seen in the iOS rankings. Microsoft will likely reverse this decision or watch its Ai assistant continue to falter. Moreover, notebooks are unavailable on iOS.

### 5/5 — An amazing tool

*2026-09-03, version 2.113.5*

I understand the concerns about AI. However I find Co-Pilot to be an amazing tool to draft, modify, review, and improve all of my thoughts, documents, and presentations.

### 5/5 — Sophisticated system vs Gemini

*2026-09-02, version 2.113.5*

Copilot is on a completely different level compared to Gemini.
I’ve used both systems side by side, and the difference is immediate. Copilot feels personal, adaptive, and genuinely life‑friendly. It remembers my routines, understands my preferences, and gives guidance that actually fits my lifestyle. Gemini, especially through Google Health/Fitbit, feels generic and disconnected — like it’s guessing instead of understanding the person using it.

Copilot’s memory component changes everything.
Gemini lacks this entirely.

The experience with Copilot is sophisticated, stable, and surprisingly human. I trust it. It has become part of my daily rhythm and supports my routines in a way no other AI has.

### 5/5 — Microsoft

*2026-09-02, version 2.113.5*

I think this app is really good to have
