### 2/5 — Bring back Wunderlist

*2026-08-18, version 2.177*

Just okay. Will never be as good as Wunderlist.

### 4/5 — This app runs my life, but improvements needed

*2026-08-16, version 2.177*

This app completely runs my life. It’s refreshing to be able to have a tool that helps get me stay focused and out of black hole that Outlook can become on busy days, destroying focus and productivity. However, while I love this app, it’s buggy and slow. The connection between Outlook and Tasks (on the Outlook sidebar) is also buggy - changing customized titles back to the title of email without warning. Fix these things and it becomes an even stronger tool!

### 2/5 — Loved it at first, then it took forever to open every time

*2026-08-15, version 2.177*

I really do love the organization of this app. To be able to create sub lists is amazing and helpful. I like that I can create folders, share them and prioritize my tasks. However, for a year now the app takes forever to load every time I want to write a new task. I end up forgetting what the task was by the time the app opens up. I wish Microsoft could fix this.

### 2/5 — Ringing tone

*2026-08-09, version 2.177*

I dont change ring tone

### 3/5 — Used to love it, now really buggy

*2026-08-05, version 2.177*

Started out as Wunderlist - the concept, balance of features , and ease of use was perfect for me. For a while it improved after Microsoft acquired it. But in the last couple of years it’s developed bugs that never se to get fixed: eg odd behaviours (even complete crashes) when re-ordering items, and a complete inability to sync properly with the desktop version. Maybe it’s because I have a lot of fairly big lists. But it’s 2026, we have heaps of storage and processing power, software shouldn’t break because of a larger than normal text database. There’s no point even dreaming of small feature changes when the basic functionality is half-broken. Very irritating, I tolerate it bc I haven’t found an alternative, but I’ll have to look harder for one.

### 3/5 — Almost perfect, just needs a couple more important feature

*2026-08-04, version 2.177*

I needed a organisational app that worked for both Samsung and iPhone so that my partner and I can share tasks. Apple reminders is actually perfect for us but unfortunately it’s not cross platform.

This app takes most of the boxes, but there’s a couple of easy tweaks that would make it perfect. For example when it shows “my day“ there’s no option to filter the tasks so that it only shows to the designated person. When I’m going through my daily checklist, I don’t need to be shown the reminders that are on my partners daily checklist, it just adds noise. Similarly when we have repeating tasks (for example putting the bins out every week once I have ticked off this weeks, it auto populate the task again ready for next week, but then it looks like I’ve still got lots on my to-do list, I don’t want to be shown the upcoming tasks until they’re within the correct timeframe. Otherwise I feel like I’m running behind… Even if the only remaining tasks are later on in the year! I just want to be able to clear my “daily checklist” without that being dependent on future tasks or other people also clearing their daily checklist

Small things, but incredibly frustrating if you’re somebody who wants to visually clear their checklist

### 5/5 — Great App

*2026-08-03, version 2.177*

This to-do list app has helped me manage key dates and tasks for a couple years. It’s very simple to use and give me notifications when I need them. Thanks for developing it.

### 5/5 — DavidC

*2026-08-03, version 2.177*

I just started with this option and I trust Microsoft with all my things as time goes by. I will share with you my experience. And I’m sure that all will be an incredibly well. Congratulations.

### 4/5 — Missing search capability

*2026-07-31, version 2.177*

I add tasks to the Task list and then pick which ones to add to M Day. I’d like to be able to search the lists.

### 3/5 — Share URL Doesn’t E.

*2026-07-31, version 2.177*

It’s a decent app, but you cannot Star a task when first entering it. Even worse, you can’t enter a time. TickTick lets you do all that and more. Share URL doesn’t work with Safari or IMDb. You get a ridiculous “You must sign in” message. It’s the only app in which the Share doesn’t work.
The thing that I really love though is the readability and attractiveness of the main task screens. Beautiful. That’s why I give 3 instead of 1 star.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Constantly crashes on iOS

*2026-08-13, version 2.177*

Can’t go more than 3 actions without the app crashing. Useless

### 1/5 — Syncing Issues

*2026-08-12, version 2.177*

I continue to have issues with having everything sync.

### 1/5 — How they’ve fallen. Slow, stuck, and almost nothing works

*2026-08-11, version 2.177*

Absurd how Microsoft engineers unable to maintain such a simple app. Too many bugs, slow, and almost no action one takes is working. E.g., cannot drag and swap tasks half of the time. Load time is about 30sec +, and there’s no support

### 1/5 — So incredibly slow

*2026-08-04, version 2.177*

For an app that only holds very simple state, it shouldn’t take 30 seconds and sometimes multiple restarts just to open….kind of defeats the point of enhanced productivity.

### 1/5 — Glitches

*2026-08-01, version 2.177*

It glitches all the time. Some days I can not get it to open in my phone

### 1/5 — So. Many. UX. Misses.

*2026-08-01, version 2.177*

Unable to undo accidentally closed tasks (much less find them after you do accidentally close them as you cannot filter or sort by completed date… does anyone even work on this app? It literally hasn’t changed at all in years.

### 1/5 — Long Time User, Done With the App

*2026-07-29, version 2.177*

As someone who has used this application since before Microsoft acquired it and been making changes, I am finally switching to something else. The slow grind to this app becoming bloated and useless compared to the simple and effective application it used to be is exhausting.

### 1/5 — Poor performance

*2026-07-29, version 2.177*

Poor performance the more data you put in the app. I expect better from Microsoft

### 1/5 — Annoying

*2026-07-19, version 2.177*

Stop asking for reviews.

### 1/5 — Unusable

*2026-07-19, version 2.177*

Love the functionality but cannot get this app to remain working on iOS. Have reinstalled multiple times but it very quickly ends up in a crash cycle upon start-up.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Easy to use and does what I need

*2026-08-17, version 2.177*

Exactly what the title says, I can use it on my phone which is amazing for convenience as well

### 5/5 — Great way to keep track of Appointment Scheduling, Grocery Shopping and TO DO other things

*2026-08-16, version 2.177*

Been utilizing this app on Android, iPhone and Windows for many years. Works great overall but needs to have a field for an actual appointment time.

One of the other issues is the List of things TO DO does not display the time and sort by the date and time if you have multiple items TO DO on the same date.

### 5/5 — Benefits of MS To Do

*2026-08-10, version 2.177*

The MS To Do app provides a convenient access to the traditional To Do list. During my military career, I always carried at paper mini note book, talking notes was essential, the multiple To Do lists were in that notebook as well. MS To Do does a fabulous job of recreating the feel of tracking the tasks we need to complete. I prefer to keep my tasks separate from each other; this would be a nice feature for MS To Do: Tabbed To Do lists, to have separate To Do lists.

### 5/5 — Smart

*2026-08-09, version 2.177*

Friendly user

### 5/5 — Life saver

*2026-08-08, version 2.177*

*2026-08-05, version 2.177*

Microsoft To Do is very easy to use and very convenient. I am in the process of moving and so I keep on my to-do list tasks that I need to perform in the moving process. I also use it for shopping lists for groceries and for a list of things that I want to buy. It is an excellent resource for me.

### 5/5 — To Do keeps me organized

*2026-08-04, version 2.177*

I love the To Do app. I use it to make lists for everything from travel to work ideas to groceries. It is perfect to keep me organized and the little ding when I check something off the list is so satisfying!!
