Maybe give the first letter to help users find it, or give a hint on the topic, or say how many letters are in the long word. Infact, it would be even nicer if the user could choose which type of hint they would like. Often I just wish I knew the first letter, so I could really concentrate on finding it. ### 3/5 — Some bugs and a truly weird dictionary *2026-07-19, version 4.4.8221* The game is mildly addictive but the GOLD RUSH does not behave properly (as stated in the rules) and the dictionary has many common words missing as well as many foreign words that are in common use in English gaming venues, while at the same time it has tons of abbreviations, acronyms and obscure esoteric words which have been obsolete for centuries. Also the Themed words have horrendous oversights. For example, “put” and “call” were not recognized as Financial themed words. ### 4/5 — Sounds *2026-05-11* Sounds are irritating. For nearly three months I have seen annoying ads after every game despite multiple confirmations from Apple and my credit card company that my subscription is paid and in force. 2. For more than three years I have received a cloud sync error message after every game. I have tried repeatedly to resolve both issues and occasionally receive a platitudinous response — they’re working on it — but no resolution. I like the game, but I think I’m done. Update: Apple support helped me get rid of the ads by using “restore purchase” in settings. Yay Apple! But I started seeing ads after the renewal date. I communicated with Microsoft support, who told me they were working on a fix and I should be sure to download the pending update.
