We cannot connect to this app and keep getting a “bind error” and internet is constantly in and out. We were so excited for a new and way better internet provider in our area- but it’s been horrible since install! ### 1/5 — App Doesn’t work. Now after the update I can’t use it at all. It’s asking me for my router password and it says it’s incorrect, when I am a 100% sure it’s correct. They sold it to me with the allure I can turn off/on our kids devices at will. Consistently disconnects and won’t connect to the app. Constant errors.....almost daily. It’s not the modem because all 15 devices stay connected. It’s the app that doesn’t connect. Great when it works. Just doesn’t work most the time. ### 1/5 — Crap *2020-03-03, version 1.1.10* Downloaded app and it’s junk because it says my modem will not work with the app. It’s their supplied modem. ### 1/5 — DOES NOT WORK *2020-02-23, version 1.1.10* I am surprised they are allowed to sell a product that doesn’t work. 3 service Techs, 2 rounds of all brand new equipment installed and supplied by Midco and many phone calls and I still can’t connect to my modem. Works for maybe 30 min after Tech is here then stops. And like other reviews said, if you have a device paused it stays paused because you can’t access the modem to resume Wi-Fi to that device. ### 1/5 — Horrible app! *2020-02-11, version 1.0.9* Big things were promised from Midco with this app. They even tried multiple times to troubleshoot... but this app never connects to the modem leaving you helpless to turn your devices off and on as promised. Horrible waste of time and resources both from the consumer and company. ### 1/5 — Garbage *2019-12-22, version 1.0.7* The app works for about an hour, and then it loses connection to your modem. In order to fix it, you have to perform a factory reset of your modem, which of course knocks everyone off of the wi-fi. Plus, I get to enjoy a higher monthly bill for this privilege. All I want to do is control my children’s screen time, and this app makes the process extremely frustrating. ### 1/5 — Junk *2019-12-12, version 1.0.7* At first this worked just fine, once I paused anything that was the last time I could connect to that device. Deleting and reinstalling the app doesn’t work, turning off the modem doesn’t reset the app, once I figure out how to reset this app it’s getting uninstalled definitely not worth the migraine. Enjoy!! ### 1/5 — Worst thing ever *2019-12-04, version 1.0.7* I have spent over 13 hours today dealing with Midco and this app. I keep getting an error telling me that my account does not exist or has been deleted. Tech left this morning and everything worked except this app, called in and then all went down hill. Tech came back and things worked fine except app stopped working again, called in and then everything went down hill again. Now have another tech coming out tomorrow. I have had to adjust my schedule for Midco 3 different days because of their issues and this app hasn’t worked for more then 10 minutes! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — This app is a headache *2023-06-16, version 2.4.3* absolute garbage ### 1/5 — Almost comical *2022-11-06, version 2.3.5* Having issues accessing the admin page for our newly installed router. Midco website says to download their app to access the settings we need from there. It took two clicks before the app said we didn’t have a router installed and then the app timed out. In 2022 a major business with massive amounts of money can’t design an app to use their own products. Renaming devices are often saved for a few days and then revert to original. Lately the device list is showing multiple devices “connected” and “online”, but list my work computer name or TIZEN next to the word online. When this happens we are unable to pause or delete devices. The devices will unpause automatically as well. It doesn’t refresh appropriately and you have to close and restart the app several times in order to get a change to take effect. I have renamed devices multiple times, sometimes it stays, sometimes it doesn’t. Check the next day, back to the original. Devices will automatically unpause. I have deleted devices off of my Wi-Fi and they return the next day; not possible since the device has been turned off the entire time.
