I highly recommend this app to people that want there grammar to improve in an exceptionally fun way! There is only one thing that I wouldn’t say; complain about but could be fixed is that I can’t play all the games only two that are still awesome but yeah I would like to be able to play more fun games! These are my opinions so please no hard feelings towards anyone if you didn’t like the game but I hope you read my comment and play this sensational game👍👏 ### 4/5 — Good app *2017-12-03, version 2.09* It is a truly a good app, but my only complaint is that on most things you have to pay .99 . One thing... *2017-03-13, version 2.07* I thought this was a great app because it was a fun way to learn Vocab! The reason why I wanted to download this is because it looked like a fun game to play and I also got the math version. What I would fix on the app is it doesn't record your score times so you can't go back and see if you did better the time before for the time that you played it. Compared to the other app I thought this one was much more fun and educational because it kept me interested and it wasn't in quiz form with the other app. I like this one much better because it was much more educational! ### 3/5 — Fun game, but needs improvement *2016-05-04, version 2.07* I downloaded the app the app Vocab 7. I downloaded Vocab 7 because the description was very interesting and intriguing, also the pictures looked like the app was a lot of fun but still educational. I liked how this app has two options, a fun educational car game that still taught me some information and flash cards that are more serious and educational. I did not like how this app had very easy questions and the hardest levels costed more money. Also In Vocab 7 both the car game and the flash cards got very bling after a while. This app compared to the app pre-suf is a lot easier to understand, also it is easier and less complicated than prefix-suffix, but prefix-suffix has harder and difficult questions. ### 4/5 — Great App *2016-05-04, version 2.07* Great App I would give the app Vocab-7 a total of 4 stars. I downloaded this app because I had the math version and it was a very entertaining way to learn. What I liked about this app was how you got to direct a car to the questions and it was still related to Language Arts with advanced language. What I didn't like about this app was how in a round there were only five questions and there was no reward. This app was much better than the app puppy pop because a lot more interactive and fun. Overall Vocab-7was a great app. ### 3/5 — Good app *2016-05-04, version 2.07* Good App I would rate Vocab 7, 3 stars because it is good but needs some work. I downloaded this app because the reviews where food and there are other versions of this app that I have had and liked before. I liked how it was like you were driving a car and it gave you challenging questions instead of quick easy ones. I disliked how you could only do three things and sometimes it was slow. The other app I downloaded was Main Idea. I like Vocab 7 more because Main Idea was only asking you questions that were not that hard. Overall Vocab 7 was a fun game but still needed some work. ### 5/5 — Great!!!! *2016-03-16, version 2.07* Fantastic! The app I downloaded was called Vocab 7! Out of five stars, I would give this app five stars! This app was very helpful. It helped me use better vocabulary in my sentences. It also is very education and a fun way of learning! The other app that I downloaded was called Language Arts Friendzy. I would rather download Vocab 7 because the other app had too many ads pop up. ### 4/5 — Best app ever *2016-03-15, version 2.07* The app that I used was vocab 7. I would give this app 4 stars because they made learning fun. I wanted to download this app because it looked challenging and there was a monkey on the cover of the app. What I liked about this app was that the app creator made learning fun and interactive. What I disliked about this app was that you could only play 3 games and there were more games you could play but the costed money. Vocab 7 compared to quizzitive by far the best app would be Vocab 7 because the app made learning so much more fun than quizzitive. ### 5/5 — Wonderful app *2016-03-15, version 2.07* I downloaded the app Vocab 7 by the company Monkey in the Middle apps. I would give this app five stars. For one, it was challenging but easy enough to have fun with. Also, I learned a lot of Vocabulary and important knowledge that I could use in the future. There are no glitches which is wonderful and it is fun. You can choose if you want to play a minigame with questions built in it or just do flash cards. I got this app because in language arts my teacher is really pushing our vocabulary levels. Also, the app really looked fun and had great reviews so I decided, why not? One thing I liked about this app is that it was fun and educational. Although, I didn't like that you had to buy the pro version to get more mini games and more levels to play. I liked this app more than pre-suf because in pre-suf it is timed and there are high scores. Whereas in Vocab 7 you can just have fun and it’s not stressing. ### 4/5 — Good app *2016-03-15, version 2.07* Vocab 7 I wanted to download the app vocab 7 because the reviews were good and I had previously downloaded an app by the same creator that was good. I liked this app because it provided entertainment as well as a good dose of education. I didn't like this app because there was an only 6 levels before you had to pay money. In all this was a good app and well worth my time. ### 4/5 — Great App for Middle School Students *2016-03-15, version 2.07* I downloaded this app because most of the reviews were good and it had 4 stars. What I liked about this app is that you learn a lot and it is very organized. I would add some different games depending if you're learning about verbs, adjectives or nouns. I would get this app over the app Decompose because you learn more and it is far more fun. I would recommend this app for anybody in middle school to improve their grades or help them in school! ### 4/5 — Great App *2016-03-15, version 2.07* Great App Vocabulary 7 is a wonderful app. I downloaded this app because it looked like a fun way to expand my vocabulary, and it is. I like how in this app with every level you complete you get more bananas, and even when you complete one level you can still go back to try to beat your level. I disliked how instead of giving you more mini games you have to buy them or earn the game money to buy them. I would give this app five stars because it is very educational and a fun way of learning, Also it has very educational pictures involved with it, plus teaching me how to add vocab to my sentences.there is one thing I would change about this app it would be all the unnecessary ads that pop during the game. Compared to the other app I downloaded iTouch middle school I would rather vocabulary seven over the other one because middle school only has pictures and flash card you can use when vocab seven has many activities. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — THIS IS SOOPID! (Yes I know I misspelled it...) *2020-11-17, version 2.11* Once upon a time, I was sitting down on my couch, and just chilling. I see my mom going up to my brother, and asks for his iPad. I’m thinking, “Why does she want his iPad?” Then I see her go into the App Store and download this app. I hear her say to him, “This is going to teach you a lot of words that is going to be helpful in your life.” and I wonder, “Hmmm, maybe I should get this app too.” I ask her to download the same app on my iPad, I go into the app and start using it. You drive over bananas (Yes i know that it sounds weird but it’s not really as weird as you think.) and get asked a question, for example. “She gave me an AMPLE amount of cookies” And it I highlights the word that it is teaching you, and it will have 4 options like this “a fair amount to eat to talk to a person a location” And it gives you 2 chances to figure out what it means, if you get it correct, then you move on to the next.... “Banana”... If you get it wrong it gives you 1 more chance, if correct, once again you move to the next... “Banana”... But if you get them both wrong it won’t even tell you what the correct answer is!! So, I’m gonna do pros and cons now. Pro: Doesn't have any Con: Meant for 8TH GRADERS! And it says 4 an up! How are 4 year olds gonna know these stuff?? How are they even going to know how to read?? Pro: Once again, IT DOSENT HAVE ANY!! Con: When you are trying to get the... “Bananas”... It is SUPER laggy! Well.. it’s not laggy, but it’s running on 2 FPS (Not literally I’m kind of just exaggerating) Pro: ONCE AGAI- Well, you probably already know by now... Con: THIS IS STOOPID! (Yes I know I misspelled it...) I would use it more if I didn’t have to pay for it. ### 1/5 — It's an ok learning app *2016-05-04, version 2.07* This app 7 vocabulary is more of a gaming app. There are tone of game minded that have easy questions on the levels. I would change the questions to harder questions and put less game modes. I honestly didn't like anything about this app. ### 1/5 — BAD *2014-03-17, version 2.07* I did not like this app. This app doesn't help with the idea of learning because it is not interesting. The words are completely random and you are forced to pass levels to unlock words. You drive a car around a street answering weird questions which is not a good way to learn. I do not recommend this app. you should make the app more entertaining and have the questions pertain. to what is happening ### 1/5 — Really? *2013-09-04, version 2.06* This is "Middle School Vocabulary" yet your update is misspelled… "Share achievements with "YOU" friends… ### 1/5 — Boring and cheap graphics *2013-08-31, version 2.01* I am a teacher and was hoping this would be good review for kids to play at home on their iPads, but the question format is much like the boring, state standard testing, and the rewards for doing well on these "quizzes" is a series of cheesy games with terrible graphics. In this technology driven age, students will be bored stiff with the 80s Atari like video games. Outdated. I deleted this app immediately after playing through it once. Don't waste the space on your device! ### 2/5 — Idea good — user interface horrible. *2018-08-07, version 2.09* The way this app handles the accelerometer in modern iPads is bad, making it harder to go fast. It also does not work in landscape mode. I like that there are No ads :-) but I deleted. The words are maybe 3rd grade words at the most. ### 3/5 — Good app but does need some improvements *2017-05-03, version 2.07* The app "Vocab 7" deserves three stars. I wanted to download this app because it looked educational and the games you play on it looked fun. I liked how you chose a game to play on it and how it asked you a question. The one thing I would add would be harder questions. Compared to "GMAT idioms" it was pretty good. GMAT idioms asked you questions after the answer was revealed. Vocab 7 asked you questions and gave you points if you got it right. ### 3/5 — Great game only one problem.... *2017-03-13, version 2.07* This app was very educational but, you have to have a certain amount of game points to get another mini game witch is outrageous because you have to get 50 bananas to get one single game when you play the different games that you would earn they where really easy and that wasn't that fun. In many different ways I love this game but the problem in this game makes the whole game not fun but I love that the game is educational I would recommend this game to kids 9-12 now if they're little kids that don't know what the words mean can easily learn. ### 3/5 — Great game, could be touched up *2016-05-05, version 2.07* I wanted to download this app because it looked like it would help me with my vocabulary and Language Arts. And I'm going into 7th grade soon. I like that you can do flash cards, or play a mini car game and answer Language Arts related questions along the way, which I thought was cool and creative. I dislike how you can only access three levels, so I would change that you can access all of the levels and experience everything. I would compare this to iTooch Middle School. iTooch Middle School is better because they have included WAY more places to go with TONS of levels on each. Vocab 7 is a great app, but I would probably recommend iTooch Middle School. He is behind in lessons and a close personal work colleague recommended the app. We were pleasantly surprised when his grades improved. Although the app is a tad dinky, we really saw improvement in Jason’s vocabulary. My hubby suffers from pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosiswhich is a rare form of lung cancer, we went to Hawaii recently and he inhaled very fine silica particles from a near by volcano, due to the medical fees we are unable to afford proper schooling, and I home school the kids. This app has saved my life, I love how I don’t have to be attentive to the kids, I can just chuck ‘em my phone (my husband and I don’t believe in giving minors telephones with access to a cellular tedious system so it can be used over a wide area, without physical connection to a network, so they use mine) and I can go to Pilates. I recommended this app to my friend Julia who recently began using the app for her overweight child. Johnny (her son) has digested to many carbohydrates and sugar particles and needed to be educated about the value of nutrition, this app did just that. Although Johnny died, he died educated. God Rest Johnny’s Poor Soul. My personal favourite feature of Vocab 7 is the use of fruits, particularly bananas, I just adore bananas and have a close connection to them.😏🍌🍆 Thank you for reading my lengthy review, I have a lack of friends and people don’t tend to listen to me, so you don’t know how much this means to me.
