## What is MiddleMark?

MiddleMark shows you where your government stands on the things you care about — measured by what it actually did, not what it said.

Answer short scenarios about the issues that matter to you, and MiddleMark scores your senators and representative against their real roll-call votes. One Alignment Score tells you how closely your delegation votes with you, and every score shows its receipts: the votes behind it, issue by issue.

YOUR DELEGATION
• An Alignment Score for each of your members of Congress, built from their recorded votes
• Where each one stands on every value you've answered, closest and furthest first
• Attendance and voting with their party, from the roll calls on file
• Members without enough recorded activity on a topic are marked unplaced — silence is never counted as a position

EVERY BRANCH, SCORED THE SAME WAY
• Congress, with the House and the Senate weighted equally, down to every seat
• The Legislature: the laws this Congress enacted, and how they line up with your values
• The President's executive orders, and the Supreme Court's decisions justice by justice
• Tap any score for it by category, then by value, then the votes, laws, orders or decisions behind it

RACES AND YOUR BALLOT
• The congressional races in your state, with everyone who filed, ranked by how closely they align with you
• Your state's registration, mail-ballot, early-voting and Election Day dates, from state election offices

FOLLOW THE MONEY
• Outside spending by organizations, by state and by group
• An Alignment Score for the money behind your elected members, weighted by every dollar for and against your positions

LEARN
• The Daily Civic 5: five questions a day, led by the values you've answered, with its own streak
• Thousands of questions from Congressional Research Service reports, surveys and the record
• Two-sided primers on each issue, and plain-language summaries by Apple Intelligence on supported devices

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Your answers, scores and ballot stay on your devices. They sync between them through your own iCloud, end-to-end encrypted with a key only your devices hold — we never see them. You can turn sync off.
• No account, no analytics, no tracking, and no server that sees what you believe
• Optional Face ID or passcode lock
• Home Screen widgets and Siri shortcuts, all off for anything personal unless you turn them on

MIDDLEMARK PLUS
Your scores, races, deadlines, the money and all three branches are free for everyone. MiddleMark Plus adds:
• Every quiz question — free play stops at 20 a topic
• Every Home Screen widget (election widgets stay free)
• Any accent colour
• Family Sharing for up to five family members

Plus is $4.99 a month or $19.99 a year, each with a 7-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm your purchase, or when the trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in your Apple Account settings.

MiddleMark publishes no facts of its own. Votes, bills, filings, orders and decisions come from public records — the Federal Election Commission, Congress.gov, the Congressional Research Service, the Federal Register, the Supreme Court (supremecourt.gov), govinfo.gov and state election offices — and every screen names its source. The AI-assisted analysis built on them is labeled as such, with a link to the record it reads.

Independent and nonpartisan. Not affiliated with any government agency, party, or candidate. MiddleMark does not tell you who to vote for. To register, find where to vote, or check your ballot, contact your state or local election office or visit vote.gov.
