### 3/5 — Why so many sign ins

*2026-08-18, version 5.20.0*

Why do you make me sign in like every other time I access the app and agree to terms like what the heck is that

### 4/5 — App works most of the time

*2026-08-15, version 5.20.0*

Everything seems to work other than when I click on my dehumidifier it closes the app.

### 4/5 — works most of the time

*2026-08-07, version 5.20.0*

It works great 95% of the time.
it works great but sometimes randomly logs me out at the most inconvenient times.
it also had trouble logging in when it does log me out. when it works it’s super easy to use and convenient. i love having the ability to adjust everything in such a easy way. the midea controls that come with the ACs can be super confusing

### 3/5 — Bad app

*2026-07-26, version 5.20.0*

The app requires email authentication to log in and the email service doesn’t work with Microsoft mail system so you can’t receive email . Thus the privacy seems questionable because the app accessed all sorts of passwords and information on my home network. Now they can reach into my network…

### 2/5 — Keep deleting my account

*2026-07-21, version 5.20.0*

I periodically have to sign up again to have an account on the app. I’ll just randomly open the app to determine the AC on. It says count doesn’t exist and I have to sign up all over again and I’ve had to do this three

### 1/5 — Account migrated?

*2026-07-18, version 5.20.0*

Bought an AC with media air and then all of a sudden it’s not letting me sign in and it’s telling me my account has been migrated to a different app. I don’t want my air conditioner connected to 1 million Chinese apps, bro.

### 3/5 — Constantly disconnecting

*2026-07-16, version 5.20.0*

The app consistently disconnects from the ac unit. Keeps saying reload then doesn’t reload then just switches to offline, extremely frustrating.

### 1/5 — App is barely functional

*2026-07-15, version 5.20.0*

From having to constantly re sign in, to it randomly deleting my devices. Just terrible

### 1/5 — Continuously closing app by itself

*2026-07-09, version 5.20.0*

This app is completely unusable. Every time I try to select a unit to edit a setting it kicks me out of the app. I cannot choose any unit. It completely crashes and makes the app useless.

### 2/5 — Device won’t stay connected

*2026-07-07, version 5.20.0*

Dehumidifier won’t stay connected

### 3/5 — Keeps disconnecting

*2026-07-06, version 5.20.0*

Keeps disconnecting everyday and they transition to the new app where it charges you to use it

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2026-07-04, version 5.20.0*

Never I had an app I could not delete. Not matter I did even apple support could not remove this app. Do not download

### 1/5 — Very annoying to setup Alexa

*2026-06-30, version 5.20.0*

Trying to follow info to setup Alexa keep getting a 404 error for website it goes to

### 1/5 — App is buggy - doesn’t allow WiFi to be configured

*2026-06-29, version 5.20.0*

I’m trying to use the app for the first time. I’m on iOS 26.

The app auto detects my dehumidifier, but when I tap the field in the app to choose the wireless network, it opens up the iOS list of apps instead of a wireless network chooser.

I also tried manual configuration and was able to connect to the dehumidifiers internal wireless network, but it then gets stuck on that step and doesn’t let me move to the final step: step four.

Could not find support information on their website. The listed phone number for IS contact rings busy.

### 1/5 — Very enjoying

*2026-06-29, version 5.20.0*

Every time I want to use it is trying to update something and log in again. Worthless piece of junk

### 1/5 — Проблема з підключенням !

*2026-06-23, version 5.20.0*

Не можу підключити до айфону ! Не вмикається АР , хоча роблю все згідно інструкції

### 1/5 — App keep crashing

*2026-07-29, version 5.20.0*

I bought a new dehumidifier. I tried to add it to my account first step. I scanned the media product registration card, which got me into a QR site. Seems like your QR code generator is not holding the website redirect value next install the app and paired my device to the app connected it to WiFi . And set up that I have the American version 20 pint once I click on the icon of the device the app crashes. OK I’m going to setting feedback. I want to read it and put my comments the app crashes again I’m using the latest iOS version on iPhone 16+ as of July 2026

### 1/5 — Awful

*2026-07-29, version 5.20.0*

Too many steps to ‘TRY’ to connect to the device and still unable to find and / or connect
Especially disappointing in an air conditioner when you want comfort from heat and humidity

The display font is feint and difficult to read
Finally gave up trying to use this app and I have had the air conditioner for a year
FAIL

### 1/5 — App crashes

*2026-07-23, version 5.20.0*

I never reviews, but I had to for this one. Just bought a their expensive dehumidifier, connected to the app and now when I open the app and choose the dehumidifier… the app crashes. Is a point of connecting to an app if the app crashes every time you choose the device

### 5/5 — Midea Air app works great for me, ‘instead’ of the Toshiba AC NA app

*2026-05-24, version 5.20.0*

The Midea Air app saved the day for me and it works great.

I use the Midea app to control four Toshiba window AC units: three 8,000-BTU units and one 12,000-BTU unit. It works great on my iPhone, and I can monitor and control all four units remotely from anywhere using Wi-Fi or cellular service. My Toshiba AC units are installed in separate offices in my commercial office building.

Before finding the Midea app, I tortured myself for a few hours with the dysfunctional, endless-loop setup process in the Toshiba AC NA app. Whoever developed that app should have been forced to use it.

Instead, use the Midea Air app. I believe Midea also makes or supports the Toshiba app for these 2025 Toshiba units, but the Midea app is the one that actually worked for me. It connected easily and seamlessly to my local Wi-Fi network.

With the Toshiba app, you’ll pull your hair out. It first tries to connect to its own temporary network, and then it is almost impossible to figure out how to switch it over to your actual local Wi-Fi network. I wasted about two hours on that before switching to the Midea app.

I also tried the AtHome app because some online research suggested it works well. In my experience, it was also messy and confusing to set up. I wasted about an hour with that one too.

The Midea app was simple. It connects easily, runs multiple units, and works great.

One important setup note: you need to hold down the power button on the Toshiba unit for about 3–5 seconds to put it into pairing mode. Once I did that, the unit connected successfully to the Midea app on my iPhone.

Yes, you can see each unit separately in the app. You can control all the functions and set up schedules for each one.

One more note: don’t put these Toshiba units in Dry Mode unless you have a drain line connected. Dry Mode makes the unit act more like a dehumidifier. Use Cool Mode if you just want air conditioning.

I used these AC units for the entire summer of 2025 in Cool Mode, and I never had water draining out of the back end, which I know others have reported. My guess is that some people may have had their unit set to Dry Mode, which would explain the extra water drainage.

Also, remember that with these indoor portable/window-style units, you need to vent the hot exhaust air out a window. The vent tube kit is included.

I really didn’t want to spend a half hour writing this review, but I’m doing it because I hope it saves other people from wasting hours on Toshiba’s horrible app. Use the Midea Air app instead. Good luck.

### 5/5 — Horrivel pra conectar

*2026-05-20*

Depois de mil anos com varias tentativas frustradas, cancelamentos, mais tentativas… do NADA ele conecta. Não existe um parâmetro para conectar.
