## What is MIDI Aid?

MIDI Aid receives messages from external MIDI devices and displays them in real-time in an easy to understand, human readable form. 

It automatically detects any changes of your MIDI subsystem, e.g. when plugging in a new device, and will immediately start displaying its messages.

Bluetooth MIDI devices are supported as well. As soon as a connection is made within the app, messages can be received.

### 1.2.0 — 2021-06-24

- Added support for Bluetooth MIDI devices.
- Fixed bug where unrecognised events caused app to crash.

- MIDI events can now be filtered by type. Only focus on the events that are needed.
- The capturing can be paused. This is extremely helpful when many events are being sent in a short time.
- The screen can be cleared from past events for a fresh start.
- Completely revamped design and app architecture.

- Changed method of how to detect MIDI controllers. More MIDI controllers will be recognised.
