It allows me to control pretty much any param or function I want. This make sound design *so* much easier. The interface is really clean and not cluttered, which means I can focus on the music and not getting lost in tons of menus. Gotta say, I did experience a minor hiccup while setting up the app initially. It wasn't immediately clear to me that I needed to use a USB cable to connect my Casio XW-G1 to my iOS device. After some googling around, I got it connected, but it would have been helpful if the app provided clearer instructions on this step. So, despite this small obstacle during setup, MIDI Designer XW has been a crazy valuable addition to my Casio XW-G1 setup. It has streamlined my whole creative process, and it has opened up entirely new possibilities for sound design and live performance. If you own a Casio XW series keyboard, I can't recommend it enough. It will take your synth and how you use it to a whole other level. **Developer response:** Agreed, thank you. This app is great and brings this keyboard to another level, especially being able to sculpt sounds as I want them. Making sound through the front panel of the keyboard isn't as great. Thanks for providing this great app. Real good. ### 1/5 — This app has NEVER worked. *2020-09-08, version 2.96.0* I have had my XWG1 since it came out, and I have tried 3 camera connection kits on my ipad, and no matter what I do, this will not connect.
