MidiDeep: MIDI FX Chain

MidiDeep is a real-time MIDI processor. It makes no sound of its own: it reshapes what you play before your instruments ever hear it. You build a chain of effects, block by block, and you hear the result straight away. THE BLOCKS Chord — builds a diatonic chord from a single note. Degrees, inversions, sus2, sus4, sixths, sevenths, ninths, and an octave setting per block. Arpeggio — arpeggiates held notes. Six directions, divisions from whole note to 64th, gate, swing, octaves, latch, transpose. Steps — a polyphonic step sequencer, up to sixteen steps. Per step: semitone, length, ratchet, velocity, tie. Delay — synchronised MIDI repeats. Harmonize — parallel voices. Every block runs on its own internal clock or follows the MIDI clock of your sequencer. KEY AND SCALE One tonic and one scale shared by the whole chain. Fourteen scales, from major to diminished by way of the pentatonics and whole tone. Notes outside the scale are pulled to the nearest one, so you never play a wrong note. MULTIPLE TIMELINES Open as many TimeLines as you need — up to four on iPhone and iPad, up to eight windows on Mac. Each one is independent: its own effect chain, its own channel filters, its own clock, its own MIDI ports. Each TimeLine shows up as a separate port in your DAW — Ableton Live, Logic Pro or any other MIDI host. Preferences and presets stay shared across all of them. CONNECTIONS A virtual MIDI port for other apps on your device. USB MIDI interfaces. Network MIDI to your other machines. BLE MIDI. Input channel filtering, output channel remapping, and a matrix that decides, for each destination, what goes out: notes, clock, controllers. MACROS AND PRESETS Four macros, assignable to any parameter and drivable by CC from your controller. One preset per effect, plus patches that recall the entire chain.
