### 5/5 — Exactly what I need

*2023-02-28, version 2.3*

That’s so much for this amazing app use it in many ways for midi over Bluetooth - please keep up the amazing work - I’m sure if there was a small charge this app would still be worth its weight in gold :) thanks

### 5/5 — Get it

*2022-09-13, version 2.3*

Incredible utility app for using wireless and usb midi. Can’t believe it’s free! Thanks Dev!!!

### 5/5 — Works like Ableton’s midi preferences

*2021-12-16, version 2.3*

This was the only app that successfully let me bridge USB midi between two pieces of audio equipment.

Basically I plugged my digitakt and Korg SQ-1 into my phone via a lightning USB hub and this app showed me the same stuff I would see in abletons midi preferences. Now I can use my digitakt as a 2 channel midi to CV converter! Thanks guys 💙

### 5/5 — High praise for this app.

*2021-05-16, version 2.2*

After unsuccessfully trying other connectivity apps for my inter-app audio requirements, I turned to this understated gem. It sailed through and carried my music with it. Flawless.

### 5/5 — Simple

*2021-01-03, version 2.10.11*

Exactly what I needed

### 5/5 — Very convenient app!

*2020-12-27, version 2.10.11*

In conjunction with other apps that can do accelerometer or ‘gesture’ based midi, this allows me to just strap a spare iPhone to my arm and wave my arm around to augment midi cc’s, this augmenting the sounds I’m playing with.

### 5/5 — Muy buena

*2020-11-10, version 2.10.11*

La mejor app, muy recomendada, funciona perfectamente. 👌👌👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍👍👍

### 5/5 — A life saviour!

*2020-10-26, version 2.10.11*

The capabilities of this little app are amazing. My Mac wouldn't receive MIDI events from my Roland FP-30 via Bluetooth, and I was about to give up when I found this free little gem. I connect my phone to the keyboard instead, and then routed it's signal back to the MacBook. It works surprisingly well! Thank you for creating this.

### 5/5 — Perfect connection

*2020-10-02, version 2.10.11*

I was able to connect my Yamaha SHS-300 keytar connected via Bluetooth perfectly. There zero latency and I highly recommend this app for any musician. I’m can’t wait to play a live show and be able to move across the stage without any cables to worry about getting in the way.

### 5/5 — Great use with the OP-Z and Bluetooth Midi

*2020-07-07, version 2.10.11*

Works effortlessly with my IOS devices, OP-Z synth, and Puc + Bluetooth Midi converter. Allows me to play a larger keyboard without further investment and leaves my usb-c port open on my synth.

### 5/5 — Sehr hilfreiche App für Bluetooth MIDI

*2020-05-12, version 2.10.11*

Klare Weiterempfehlung!

### 5/5 — Yes! This is the one!

*2020-01-01, version 2.10.11*

It was a bit of a hassle to get USB set up on Windows (requires additional installation of loopMIDI and a specific version of iTunes), but once it is set up, it runs flawlessly with very little latency. I am able to route my Novation Circuit as a MIDI controller through Reaper and use it to control almost anything on my iPad! Major kudos to the developer for releasing this as free software.

### 5/5 — Best app to connect TE OP-Z and a Bluetooth midi keyboard

*2019-08-20, version 2.0.8*

It so easy to set up so that you can use a Bluetooth midi keyboard to control your beloved OP-Z

I’m using it with a korg Nanokeystudio -it works like a dream and only a few simple steps to configure
Great sorted -thanks

### 1/5 — Running USB version. 'IOS Audio" crashes app on M1 Mac

*2024-08-25, version 2.5.3*

Running USB version. When I launch MIDI LE USB, the midi works to trigger my ipad, but it immediately disables my ipad as an audio input to my mac. When i click 'IOS Audio' under the menubar icon, the app just crashes on my M1 mac. Shame. No manual or instructions.

No manual or response from the developer, who apparently doesn't care. Complete waste of time trying to set up. STAY AWAY.

### 1/5 — Connect problem IOS 9.3.5 & Yamaha MD-BT01 Bluetooth LE

*2020-12-20, version 2.10.11*

Downloaded app an still had Connection problem IOS 9.3.5 & Yamaha MD-BT01 Bluetooth LE because the iPAD 2 could not find the device even though Bluetooth was on in both devices. Any help?

### 1/5 — Full of great ideas, not bad execution

*2020-03-11, version 2.10.11*

The only reason I gave it one star is in hopes that the developer sees it. It’s really a great app. I have just had a problem where the app keeps giving me pop-ups asking me to turn on Bluetooth to make a network connection, while I’m not using it. It all started happening when I added the widget to the widget list. Since then, it pops up every two or three minutes. Removing the widget and turning off background functions hasn’t resolved it. It could honestly be ipados, since crapple is now becoming known as the company which once made reliable devices - while Steve was alive.
I’m about to uninstall the app as the pop-up is extremely frustrating. Again, I haven’t had any other problems really. Although, I honestly haven’t used it a ton (It just isn’t extremely useful in my workflow).

### 3/5 — Toggles not visible on iPad mini

*2021-05-17, version 2.2*

Works for ipad pro but toggles aren’t visible on iPad mini

### 4/5 — Awesome

*2019-02-01, version 2.0.8*

Thank you! This app made my life so much easier.

### 4/5 — Is ok, nothing special

*2018-08-09, version 2.0.3*

👌

### 4/5 — Stable and useable

*2017-03-05, version 1.7.1*

Definitely a frustrated user of iPad...and forced to use but I can say this app does what it says and is very stable and usable to connect, especially wireless Bluetooth devices into the midi system. The only 2 negatives are
1. It would seem iOS doesn't allow autostart of programs very simply...so this needs to be manually started with every boot.
2. It would be great if it had an option on client bt connections to auto connect to a device if it is online.
Otherwise...great job!!!

### 4/5 — Great app

*2017-02-03, version 1.7.1*

Even greater with bug fixes!

Thanks for making this!

### 5/5 — Bluetooth MIDI helper

*2026-02-28, version 2.6*

I was beating my head trying to connect an airstep multi to a cme thru6 and them to my Mac. Midimittr sees the devices and connection is as easy as clicking a button. Technology is magic

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2025-11-19, version 2.6*

Thank you so much for this app! I use it to connect MIDI Wrist Unleashed to Tau DJ on my iPad. As a dance teacher, it’s great to be able to start/ stop music and change tempo without having to go to my iPad!

### 5/5 — Very useful

*2025-05-09, version 2.5.3*

Was able to connect TouchOSC on one iPad with Cubasis on my other iPad. Worked well for mobile music / composing setup via Bluetooth without occupying a USB port. Thanks to the developer :-)

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2025-04-06, version 2.5.3*

Had to give you a 5 star review mate. Does what I need it to and didn’t cost me a penny. Thank you

### 5/5 — midimittr

*2025-03-13, version 2.5.3*

This actually works due to support for the original midi protocol.
This app needs to be considered when using any blue tooth midi device.
Once this installed it will partner with the newest midi technology allowing for example, 2 keyboards to operate together while delivering midi control data , and program change messages etc to operate simultaneously. This will be sent via a daw or app running on IOS, windows or mac.

### 5/5 — Perfect!

*2024-11-13, version 2.5.3*

Very thankful for this app. Was having major issues getting OP-1F to play nicely with AUM. This app solved my problems instantly.

### 5/5 — Mükemmel

*2024-11-06, version 2.5.3*

Midi desteği icin muhteşem bir destekleyici

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2024-10-15, version 2.5.3*

Worked perfectly to connect devices with each other. Thank you!

### 5/5 — Still works on iPhone/iPad

*2023-11-07, version 2.4*

For connecting to macOS, this is still quite awesome. With two devices connected -- you have to start midimittr on iOS first on both devices -- only one seems to get MIDI back. But it's fine and more convenient than the Apple solution using audio/midi setup.

Thanks Matthias for keeping this working! No small task for sure.

### 5/5 — Midimittr, app of the wireless MIDI gods

*2023-04-24, version 2.3*

Thank you so much for providing what Apple should have built into iOS as standard.

I wanted to use my old iPad as a control surface.
Using Loopy Pro as the surface controller on the old iPad, and then controlling Loopy Pro on a second iPad which is running the loops.

Midimittr thank you so much, you made it easy.
Like a magic connection with zero setup.
