### 4/5 — Good value

*2026-07-15*

For the money it does what it’s meant to.

Some nice add-on feature requests would be:

- The midi values for CC and PC range from 1-128 which means I need to remember to add 1 to the value if I’m sending midi data to a device that expects to see 0-127. An option to start the midi values to 0 or 1 would be a nice touch.

- Copy and paste pads including names and midi commands.

- Being able to type in numbers for values in addition to sliders.

The Bluetooth midi works as intended. I use it to control patch changes on a guitar via CME Bluetooth device.

So it’s reliable and works every time. A few additional features would be a nice touch.

### 2/5 — Fully customizable oversells it

*2026-04-14*

It works. It’s stable (I think), but it’s very basic.

Absolutely fine if you want to send notes, but lacking for anything else.

It does have an option for Program Change, but two of the parameters are missing. It’s a 3 parameter command, so it renders it mostly useless in that regard. If you want to use this to send patch changes to your device, forget it.

It has no menu to connect via bluetooth, which it purports to support, so you have to connect using another bluetooth midi app.

The sliders are cumbersome. You have to choose one of 96 possible notes to send with a small slider - it just doesn’t work very well even on a big iPad.

There’s seemingly no way of reordering the pads.

It’s a good basic app but I imagine anyone remotely serious about MIDI control will find this doesn’t do the job. I hope these few features are added.

### 3/5 — Basic but flawed

*2025-12-03*

Does what it says in the description but nothing more. As others have noted, you can’t reorder the buttons. The value selection UI is fiddly, trying to pick from 1-128 on a fairly narrow slider. WORST though is that changing the layout ie adding or removing rows or columns does not shuffle existing buttons around. If you reduce visible columns, the buttons in the rightmost column(s) are simply deleted as far as I can tell. Increasing the column count again just adds back a column of empty buttons.

### 4/5 — Great app!

*2025-12-02, version 2.0.3*

Looking forward to the following features:
- cloud sync
- configurable slide controls (0-127 or 1-128)
- volume knobs in addition to tiles

### 3/5 — Almost good

*2025-11-29*

It’s good because it’s very quick and intuitive to use but has 2 much needed mods; ability to swap the pads (as set lists change!) and being able to select ranges of PC codes between 1-128 Or 0-127. With those mods it would be a 5 star!

### 2/5 — Needs more in setup

*2025-10-16, version 2.0.3*

Need the ability to set range from 0-127 not just 1-128

### 2/5 — Not sure how to setup?

*2025-07-17*

It says it supports wireless MIDI, which I’m assuming means I can connect it to my Mac to control whatever.

In MIDI Studio on Mac it doesn’t seem to show up as a device, and there’s no settings in the app to configure any network stuff

### 4/5 — Great App

*2025-06-09*

This app is great very easy to use. There’s only a couple things if they would change I think would make it better.
In the old version of this app, you could save your work. It would be nice if you could do that in this version the only change that could be made would be instead of sliders if we could just type the values in

### 4/5 — Works great but

*2025-04-27*

I would really like to be able to save my pages offline so I could have a backup as well as transfer them back-and-forth between my phone and iPad. Other than that, it works as advertised very handy tool.

### 4/5 — Landscape mode on iPhone please !!

*2025-02-02*

Everyrhing’s great, but landscape mode on iPhone is wanted !!

### 3/5 — A great start

*2024-12-25, version 2.0.3*

This is a very intuitive app. And the visualization is exactly what I was looking for. I wish it had export/import and copy/paste/duplicate functionality. I would love to be able to transfer settings between my Apple devices.

### 4/5 — A great start

*2024-11-17*

This is a very intuitive app. And the visualization is exactly what I was looking for. I wish it had export/import and copy/paste/duplicate functionality. I would love to be able to transfer settings between my Apple devices.

### 3/5 — Missing one vital feature…..

*2024-09-16*

…….namely the ability to rearrange the pads. I wanted to use this to cue midi patches using Program change messages to my instruments. It does this well but if you change the order of songs in your setlist you’re stuffed as the pads can’t be rearranged. Such a shame as it competes with a free app offering similar functionality but without the ability to specify number of rows/columns.

### 4/5 — fast perfekt

*2024-05-20*

Nach diversen Fehlversuchen (u.a.

### 4/5 — Midi control shifted by 1

*2024-04-27*

I’m using the app to control my Nord, and I have to address the control changes by adding one to the number of control number.
it’s easy to detect the bug by comparing the setting of MidiPad with the log of MIDI Wrench app.

### 4/5 — Almost great

*2024-01-19*

The app works well for my needs except the note values seem to be off by an octave. To send A1 I need to enter A2 etc

### 4/5 — Great App!

*2023-12-21*

So easy! Super simple to edit and control.
A few things that if they were added would make the app perfect.
1. If there was an option to change a pad to a slider or knob.
2. If there was an option to write the midi note instead of selecting it using a slider.
3. If you could set the global channel for the controls
4. If buttons (or sliders) could control other buttons on the fly.

If those all came out as a pro feature, this app would be invincible!

### 3/5 — Good program but...

*2023-11-10, version 2.0.3*

Official midi CC for sustain is 65, but in this app I have to put 65. Official midi CC for volume is 7 but in this app I have to put 8.
Also any note I program or edit in the app gets played a whole octave lower on midi sound modules.

I do love the versitility of the program. Thanks.

### 4/5 — Great little app

*2023-07-20*

i've been using this app on gigs for a couple of years now. It works very well. There are a couple of features that I would like to see added.

- The ability to copy and paste, buttons, or tap, and slide them to a new position
- The ability to swipe between pages instead of having to go to the button at the top, and then select a page
- The ability to change the order of pages

### 4/5 — Control Messages cannot send zero

*2023-06-06*

there are some devices that require the Control Message Value to be zero, but this app sets the value from 1-128, which is incorrect. It’s useless to me. Waste of money.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Doesn’t Recognize Bluetooth iOS 26

*2026-04-07*

I purchased this app to control my midi devices via Bluetooth. After downloading, this app won’t ask or show up to access Bluetooth. Uninstalled/Reinstalled multiple times, and still no luck. Tried installing on iPad and iPhone iOS 26 and both don’t recognize the app in privacy and security to enable Bluetooth. Waste of three bucks!

### 1/5 — Not working

*2024-03-27*

Not working for me. Just waisted my money

### 1/5 — TERRIBLE APP. NO WAY TO CONNECT

*2023-12-17, version 2.0.3*

No instructions. No instructions to connect to Mac once the page is designed. VERY POOR, THOUGHTLESS EXECUTION.
Also, midi cc’ send 1 value lower than they are labeled. 92 sends 91, etc.

Don’t listen to the fanboys here. STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP.

### 1/5 — Doesn't receive Midi

*2023-05-20*

I bought the app to use it as reference and to receive midi. But it doesn't receive..

### 1/5 — Needs documentation

*2023-01-28, version 2.0.3*

It may just be me but, I couldn't find a way to designate a midi channel or a way to get the midi information out of the app to do anything.

### 1/5 — Worthless

*2022-07-24, version 2.0.3*

Piece of junk

### 1/5 — Useless

*2022-05-15, version 2.0.3*

No instructions on how to connect to Bluetooth MIDI devices. Also, it only sends values from 1-128 messages; no option for devices that work with 0-127 values.

### 1/5 — Worthless

*2020-04-10, version 2.0.3*

I bought this to setup a screen of pads to mute various channels on the OP-Z. To mute, the CC value needs to be set to 0, 1 to unmute. This app allows for values between 1-128. 128 is not a standard value, the range should be 0-127.

### 1/5 — Not working

*2020-01-12, version 2.0.3*

Not working

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Free and simple but…

*2026-07-12*

Love the simplicity of this. Seems like it is what it is at this point, but should there ever be an update, the ability to move pads around in edit mode would be great. When using as a patch changer it would be nice to be able to adjust positions.

### 5/5 — Pas de fadeurs

*2026-04-10*

Manque les faders mais très bonne applis

### 5/5 — Good

*2026-04-03*

Good good

### 5/5 — Actually I rate this app at 4.5

*2026-02-24*

Like others have said this is a great little app. Work just like a host so I can trigger program changes in my Zoom pedal and Boss looper. Easy to set up, multiple actions, and very versatile. Would have given it a 5 if there was some way to type in the numbers instead of a slider. It can sometimes be problematic getting your finger in the exact right spot to work the slider. Using a stylus/dauber sometimes helps. A neat upgrade in my opinion would be the ability to input MIDI commands to change patches say with a foot pedal. Being a bass player sometimes I have both hands busy when I want to do a patch change. I would pay for that update. That’s what Michael does over at Loopy Pro. You pay for a series of updates and get to keep them even if you don’t buy the next batch.

### 5/5 — Simple and effective

*2025-10-20, version 2.0.3*

Very impressed with how well this works. I used this with Garageband as an alternative to spending 50-100$ on a midi drum controller pad. Extremely responsive even when drumming very fast (picture like metal drums). My phone is a bit old and the drum hits still don’t even lag whatsoever or skip a beat. Would highly recommend as a cost effective minimalistic a midi drum controller!

### 5/5 — Worth it

*2025-03-13*

Totally worth it. Just needs to be more time efficient. Like coping the presets should be there, and manually entering numbers , instead of slide bar will save a lots of time and efforts. Otherwise, great app.

### 5/5 — Good app, one request

*2024-03-30*

Hi, I really like the app. Could you add a landscape mode though? It’s hard to have a cable plugged in my phone to control my device and leave it in the vertical position. Being able to set the phone on its side would be great. Thanks

### 5/5 — Simple, does exactly what I want

*2023-05-11*

I use this app to remotely control Live Professor 2 over a wifi network so I can change keys on my vocal tuning software with a simple press of a button. It does it really simply, and connecting the midi from my iPad to my Macbook is really easy too.

### 5/5 — Yes

*2023-03-09, version 2.0.3*

Has the cc control I needed as you can send values with the cc message.

### 5/5 — mostly a real nice app

*2023-01-18*

Mostly real nice app. Midi note number editor should be bigger. A
"copy page" function would nice. I start with blank buttons that fit my hands and map in functions... You could get funky and map the tilt sensor to midi cc. Thanks for putting it up.
