Please fix I have no other way of knowing if the buses are running or not ### 1/5 — Worst app for accuracy *2022-12-10, version 39.6* This is by far the worst app and the worst bus service ever! The supposed “live” tracker is something to be laughed at if it wasn’t for frustration because some people have no other option but to rely on this shoddy bus service. First bus weren’t the most reliable but certainly better than this scam company who can’t operate an app to save themselves. With the bus timetables being unreliable, we count on the app. However, ever since using it, timings have jumped ridiculously. One minute it’s 15 min until bus, then a couple of min later it’s 8 min. Then when it’s 1 min and your just wanting to get to your destination the tracker tells you it’s 27 min shortly followed by 29 min. Sort it out! If there was any other alternative, believe me, we’d choose it! ### 1/5 — What a shockingly bad app and service... *2022-09-26, version 39.1* First off, these “Live Times” are a fiction. The number of non-live busses are shocking. This company is planning to hit this service to one bus an hour and they don’t plan on improving anything. Also, just as a bonus, the “Feedback” page doesn’t work. Get your walking shoes on, because you have less chance of getting one of these buses that you have of winning the lottery. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Used to be serviceable. *2026-07-30, version 119* Used to use this app regularly to travel around town, now I have come back to using it to head out of town every morning and the app is a complete disaster. Bus times not accurate, tracker does not show buses and if it does it’s usually wrong or showing 4 buses when there are only ever 2 at a time. People and not just me rely on buses to get them to their everyday activities/responsibilities it’s completely unacceptable to be let down regularly. Buses are constantly late or sometimes do not arrive at all, even though there are clearly scheduled times shown on the app and at bus stops. People rely on these times because we all have places to be work, college, appointments, and other important commitments. What makes it even worse is that the bus tracker app barely works properly. I remember waiting for the X38 because the app showed it would arrive at a specific time, but it never came. Instead, I had to wait another 40 minutes for the next bus. It turns out the “scheduled” bus was apparently just a glitch and was actually the next service the whole time. That is completely unacceptable. The company always says they “cannot guarantee bus times,” but then what is the point of having timetables, schedules, and live trackers if they are not accurate? People plan their entire journeys around these times. The lack of reliability and communication is frustrating and wastes people’s time daily. ### 1/5 — GET YOUR BUS TRACKERS WORKING AND THE BUSSES ON TIME. *2025-12-05, version 105* The busses sometimes are terrible and whrn theres a turning circle you do not know what way it goes, I can not track where my bus is and it’s getting very annoying every time a bus passes me!! GET IT FIXED. No way. *2023-03-02, version 40.0.5* I hate to be the person writing a bad review and sincerely wish I could be commending McGill’s and their app but unfortunately not. So here goes… The timing and actual arrival time of buses is completely ridiculous, that’s if one even turns up at all. The fact that we can track buses on the map via GPS (which itself is shocking but I will get to that), yet cannot be informed when a bus will not be arriving, is beyond me. A lot of people rely on this service for work and other reasons, but I can only think of a very few select times that I actually have arrived at my destination on time. When checking the journey planner, you can see the time difference of when a bus will arrive compared to the actual supposed time of arrival. Once the clock goes past the time of arrival, there’s no way of checking anymore what time the bus will turn up at. As for the GPS tracker, I honestly though after First Bus it couldn’t get any worse but here I am being proven wrong. I can understand not to expect 100% accuracy with this sort of thing but at least some consistency would be great. One minute when I’m checking where the bus is at, the GPS will either put the bus further behind or forward than it actually is, leaving myself and others extremely confused as to where the bus actually is. This is absolutely infuriating and I have missed several buses in a row because of it. I’m sorry to leave such a bad review, but I do hope that this gives some insight into specific areas that your company needs to improve on. It feels like a never ending nightmare having to deal with the bus situation and I also hope that some of these issues will be taken on board and being optimistic, hopefully fixed too. I unfortunately have no other way of travelling to and fro work, so I say this for myself and any others struggling with the same issue. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2023-01-14, version 40.0.1* I hate the new app, every time I try to look for my bus to see when it will be here it crashes shows errors like ‘we couldn’t get the timetable’ like the old app from first bus was so much better.
