## What is Midnight?

Your person, on your Home Screen.

Midnight keeps the two of you one glance away. Write a note, draw a doodle or tap the heart, and it lands in a widget on your partner's Home Screen. No chat to open, no feed to scroll.

SEND IT TO THEIR HOME SCREEN
A love note in your own words. A doodle drawn with your finger. A miss-you tap that adds up through the day. A mood, so they know how you really are. Each one shows up in a widget on your partner's phone.

TEN WIDGETS FOR TWO
Love Note, Doodle, Miss You, Days Together, Distance, Tonight, Our Moods, Countdown, Us and Moments, in eight color themes. The Widgets tab shows every widget with your real data and a short guide to add it to your Home Screen or Lock Screen.

YOUR MOMENTS AND YOUR COUPLE MAP
Save your favorite moments on a timeline, with photos, places and the days you never want to forget. Every date and every trip lands on your couple map with its photo, and the Moments widget brings back a photo of you two every day. Only the two of you can see them.

MAKE IT YOURS
Put your face on your partner's widgets with a Memoji or a photo, name your space, add a cover photo and choose an app icon. Connect in seconds with a six-digit code or a QR code.

MILES APART, STILL CLOSE
Count the days you have been together and the days until you see each other again. If you both choose to share it, see how far apart you are: only ever a distance, never a location, and switching it off deletes it.

ONE QUESTION. TWO REAL ANSWERS.
Write your answer and it stays sealed until your partner writes theirs. Then both open at once. The second person has 36 hours, so you never need to be online together.

GAMES AND DATE IDEAS
Would You Rather, Who's More Likely To, Red Flag Green Flag and Blind Compatibility: four games made for two people, not a crowd. Eighteen date ideas for nights in, nights out and nights apart.

LUMI AND YOUR MEMORIES
Raise Lumi, your shared little moon, with small daily missions. Every exchange you complete becomes a memory you can come back to. A missed day never erases what you earned.

MIDNIGHT PRO, FOR BOTH OF YOU
Everything in Midnight comes with Midnight Pro: all ten widgets and their themes, moments and your couple map, notes, doodles, miss-you taps and moods, Lumi, the date ideas, a new question every day and the four games. One subscription covers both linked partners. New subscribers can start the weekly plan with a 14-day free trial, and we remind you two days before it ends.

Midnight Pro is a weekly or yearly subscription that renews automatically unless it is cancelled in your App Store account settings at least 24 hours before the period ends. If you start a free trial, the weekly price is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. The price, billing period and any trial are shown before you buy. Shared questions need Midnight 5 or later and iOS 26 on both phones. iOS decides how often widgets refresh.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 6.3 — 2026-10-07

Midnight 6.3 puts your person, and your story, on your Home Screen.

• Ten widgets for two: send a note, a doodle, a miss-you tap or your mood straight to your partner's Home Screen.
• New Moments widget: a photo of you two, a new one every day.
• Save your favorite moments on a timeline, with photos, places and the days you never want to forget.
• Your couple map: every date and every trip, pinned with its photo.
• Your face on their widgets: a Memoji or a photo.
• Make it yours: name your space, add a cover photo, choose an app icon and widgets that suit light, dark, tinted and clear Home Screens.
• Connect in seconds with a six-digit code or a QR code.

### 5.0.1 — 2026-09-26

Small fixes for smoother shared moments.

• Your daily question and shared history refresh more reliably as you move through the app.
• Shared Midnight Pro access syncs more reliably after a purchase or restore.

Your answers and memories stay safe while a screen refreshes.

### 5.0 — 2026-09-15

Welcome to your little world.

• Meet Lumi, your shared moon companion. Care for Lumi together, earn hearts that never expire and unlock three cozy homes.
• One question a day, sealed until you both answer — then opened together. Thirty questions with lighter alternatives.
• Fourteen tiny daily missions and eighteen date ideas for nights in, nights out and nights apart.
• Find your way with Today, Play, Memories and Us.
• A warm new daylight design, original moon-and-star artwork and a matching couple widget.
• Your shared answers, account recovery and existing memories are all still here.

### 4.2 — 2026-08-20

A more thoughtful start for your relationship.

Improved
• Midnight now guides you through your personalized plan before you bring your partner into your private space, so the value is clear before the invite.
• Rating requests wait for a meaningful shared moment instead of interrupting setup.
• The welcome flow keeps its place across restarts and handles connection hiccups more reliably.

Fixed
• Smoother partner linking, subscription restore handling, and small stability issues throughout.

### 4.1 — 2026-08-06

A smoother start.

• Fixed a setup hiccup: a dropped connection at the wrong moment could skip part of the welcome flow. Midnight now retries automatically — and if it still can't connect, you can try again yourself instead of being rushed past.
• Plus stability improvements and polish throughout.
