### 2/5 — Mighty is great -When it works

*2026-07-19, version 7.0.4*

Mighty is a great alternative for listening to music, but lately I’ve been having some troubles connecting my Bluetooth headphones. They’ve had very little (if any) trouble at all in the past, so why now? The answer: Mighty is just not that reliable. Don’t get me wrong, it’s great- but only when it works.

### 2/5 — I don’t understand

*2026-07-07, version 7.0.4*

I have my mighty connected to internet and plugged in. I have my Bluetooth on and I’m ready to download my music. But, when I open the app it repeatedly tells me to connect to internet and turn my Bluetooth on.
…I don’t understand,
Someone please tell me why!

### 2/5 — Horribly Unreliable

*2026-06-25, version 7.0.3*

Great concept, slick interface, helpful setup instructions. It ends there. The app development is absolutely awful. Synching a playlist takes dozens of continuous failures and long pauses. When synching stops before complete, it doesn’t automatically resume.

### 2/5 — Please Fix Sync Issues

*2026-06-05, version 7.0.3*

These devices are a fantastic idea, but the constant syncing issues with the software is VERY frustrating.

### 2/5 — Please update

*2026-06-02, version 7.0.3*

This app used to be great, but the new design kinda sucks (no offense guys). But the Mighty itself is great. The app says to update the software, but it just brings me back to the home page! It is not updating! Also, the sync doesn’t work.

### 3/5 — I love it, but there are some issues

*2026-05-24, version 7.0.3*

So I got this from my mom for Christmas and I love it but there’s an issue whenever I try to download a new album or playlist. Sometimes I will download something new and it doesn’t show up when I search it up on the app so I have to delete it. The whole app. Then when I go back, it works, but I have to do that every time I download something new and I really hate it. And this is something that has happened since the beginning there are some songs that I have not been able to download and at first when I try to play them it was just quiet and I had to skip it so many times and it’s really weird. There are also some songs that they say are downloaded but aren’t. But other than this, I love this so much and because I don’t have a phone I use it all the time and I think it’s amazing. This was my only issue. Thank you. Please try to fix this!

### 1/5 — Absolute rubbish

*2026-04-19, version 7.0.2*

Brand new mighty. Can only sync one playlist then cannot add any more.

### 2/5 — Frustrating

*2026-04-19, version 7.0.2*

Very slow syncing new songs. When I leave back to home screen, Mighty stops syncing and I have to restart all over, regardless of what percentage I was done at. This was really annoying.

### 2/5 — App update has cause issues

*2026-03-07, version 7.0.0*

I loved my mighty but now I can’t update anything as it no longer connects to my hotspot and if it does it won’t download properly. The idea is great but the app and functionality is shocking! Please fix the bugs.

### 1/5 — Very Buggy and Frustrating

*2026-03-06, version 7.0.0*

I’ve been using Mighty since 2018 with infrequent problems. This new app version, however is beyond frustrating. Syncing is the biggest issue - random errors that pop up for 1/2 a second, playlist not syncing or won’t add, and twice, two of my mightys were completely wiped for no reason at all. Also, one of my mightys keeps losing its connection to my Jaybird Vistas. I hate these things now. I am going to get an Apple Watch with cellular to pay my Spotify - I’m done with Mighty!

### 3/5 — The Mighty is great when it works, but the reliability issues are incredibly frustrating.

*2026-03-06, version 7.0.0*

I own two Mighty devices. One for each of my children. We have had them for several months now.

Tonight I spent over an hour trying to complete the required 30-day refresh. The app kept saying there was a software update. I installed the update successfully… only for it to immediately loop back and say there was another update. Over and over.

I tried everything: resetting the device, deleting and reinstalling the app, restarting my phone, reconnecting services, and starting from scratch. Nothing fixed it.

This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues syncing playlists, but tonight was by far the worst. I was simply trying to refresh one playlist with fewer than 100 songs, and the process completely stalled.

What makes this even more frustrating is that I actually love the idea of the Mighty. It’s an awesome concept for kids or workouts without carrying a phone. But the software and syncing experience need serious improvement. When it works, it’s fantastic. When it doesn’t, it’s incredibly time-consuming and frustrating.

### 2/5 — Third time is not the charm

*2026-02-15, version 7.0.0*

Purchased a Mighty 3 in October. I previously owned two other second generation Mightys; one was waterproof and failed the “waterproof” test, one worked fine but the buttons seized after 3 years of daily use. My latest Mighty has been a nightmare to sync to the app and this has not changed with the latest update. I may luck out about 20% of the time and the sync works; otherwise the sync either stalls at 7%, fails to sync half of the songs on a playlist, or forces a factory reset. The latest app update also comes with a new feature where it gets stuck in a rapid fire “resync-complete” cycle and thus needing a restart.

Before improving any interferes or app appearances, the sync issues need to be fixed. I’m not sure if this all 100% an issue with the app itself or if there is a glitch with the Mighty 3 also interfering. Otherwise, consider this my buyer beware to those looking into this music player.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t connect to 5Ghz!

*2026-02-15, version 7.0.0*

WTF. After update I couldn’t get it to connect to my wifi. Come to find out, there is an info button update at the bottom that says “doesn’t connect to 5GHz networks” . I have never had a problem connecting before. So …. exactly how am I supposed to use it now and connect ?!!!

### 2/5 — Terribly made app

*2026-02-09, version 7.0.0*

I love my mighty. It helps me disconnect and really enjoy music again. However, this app is a nightmare. It takes so many times to connect the mighty and never works in one go. Please fix this to make it smoother🙏🙏

### 3/5 — Dead app

*2026-02-03, version 6.7*

Spotify doesn’t even sync anymore to this app, tells you have to add the songs to your library and still won’t recognize them on the mighty. Just sucks because I hate running with a phone. Was a great concept but I feel it’s falling to the wayside for sure

### 1/5 — Bad, Very bad

*2026-02-01, version 6.7*

This app is horrible. The update keeps popping up and it is not letting me skip it and when I did try to update it it keeps saying it is not connected (it is) or it is not plugged in (it is). And I cannot even count how many times I had to look something up because it was blinking or just the update being confusing. On top of that I have been siting on my bed for 3 hours waiting for it to “charge”, “plug in”, update, and download a few playlists. Do not get this!

### 1/5 — Useless

*2026-01-28, version 6.7*

Doesn’t connect to the app. I would have to reroute my WiFi for it to work, which is NOT worth it for mediocre audio quality with no phone. Complete scam.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2026-07-27, version 7.0.6*

if there was a -1000 star option i would have give this app that there is no way to put this but if terrible was a thing it would be mighty, where to i even start first off it was $150 for a piece of plastic and the app doesn’t even work i got this for camp and it wont even stay connected for longer then 5 minutes i charged it fully and it still says it needed more battery. sound quality is awful when using wired headphones and when i tried to connect my airpods they wouldn’t play any sound or they would and it would be at max volume and or couldn’t be turned down. when i tried to sync my playlists it wouldn’t sync it would say overload even though all of my playlist where under 100 songs and when it started syncing i would have to keep my phone on for 20 minutes staring at the screen and i couldn’t leave the app without the whole process restarting again such a waste of money!!! please don’t buy this product it’s truly awful and i couldn’t even end up using it! MIGHTY PLEASE FIX YOUR APP AND ACTUAL MP3 player!!!!! 😡😡😡😡

### 1/5 — Tech Issues

*2026-07-20, version 7.0.5*

The most confusing device Ive ever owned. I really wanted to love it but 90% of time I have to troubleshoot issues

### 1/5 — Terrible software

*2026-07-02, version 7.0.4*

DONT WASTE MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT! The technology is horrendous and this app doesn’t work. We spent hundreds of dollars on two mighty players and they have only worked ONCE in six months!!!!!!!

### 1/5 — Complete Junk and Ghosted by Customer Service

*2026-06-23, version 7.0.3*

Avoid this company. I bought the Mighty 3 (2026 Edition) on March 7, 2026, and it was dead on arrival. The playlist sync fails completely, making it a useless piece of plastic.Worse than the broken product is the atrocious customer service. I spent three months trapped in an exhausting, 30-email loop with a representative named Al. I fully complied with every single request. I performed multiple factory resets, sent screen recordings of the sync failure, and provided endless photos and videos of the defective unit.Instead of replacing the broken hardware or offering a refund, Al just kept repeating the exact same troubleshooting steps and demanding more videos. After two months of this runaround, I formally demanded a refund. Mighty Audio’s response? They completely ghosted me. They stopped replying to my emails, refused to send a replacement, and are keeping my money. This product does not work, and the company’s support is a stalling tactic designed to exhaust your patience until they stop responding. Do not buy.

### 1/5 — THIS SUCKS

*2026-06-18, version 7.0.3*

so I got one for my b-day this year I can't use it I have Spotify premium and this thing won't let me connect it please fix it

### 1/5 — Worst app

*2026-06-01, version 7.0.3*

App rarely syncs. And if it does it misses songs. Constantly having to factory reset player. Other than that great player. Just needs to be rebuilt properly.

### 1/5 — Not happy

*2026-06-01, version 7.0.3*

Bought a new mighty for longer play time and it won’t let me put music on it or update it and it doesn’t do anything but download the name of the album. This has been so disappointing and frustrating

### 1/5 — Much worse than previous app

*2026-05-20, version 7.0.3*

Just doesn’t work. Won’t sync so can’t use device

### 1/5 — Horrible experience

*2026-05-03, version 7.0.2*

The app itself was giving me issues and couldn’t sync music to the mighty player,it would cancel itself while it was syncing, I wasted $120 on this for it to not work

### 1/5 — It Could Get Worse

*2026-04-20, version 7.0.2*

From the beginning of my mightily infuriating experience with this hopelessly broken device, I’ve had my fair share of struggles with this song-forgetting shame. But it seems that as soon as the latest—though perhaps not greatest—version of this very app was unveiled, the “Mighty” has outright refused to work. Every time I attempt to sync it now, it appears to use Quick Attack and save ever song with the exclusion of the last one, but then it gets hit by an Ice Beam and gets stuck at 8% before slowly crawling to 10%, after which it unfailingly gives in. And when I listen to my playlist, many songs ALWAYS appear to have been “skipped”, as in not appearing at all. As an added bonus, when I try to rewind in the playlist, it will often just notice it’s simply trying to back into a void and just plays the same song again. I can’t exactly imagine this horrid device getting worse still…

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — I like

*2026-02-18, version 7.0.0*

It’s good

### 5/5 — Syncs my Spotify to my Mighty player

*2026-02-17, version 7.0.0*

Great way to take my Spotify offline and leave my phone behind

### 5/5 — Great app

*2026-02-02, version 6.7*

Installed for my son so he can have music without a screen as no kids can help them selves from looking at screens. Easy to use and install. Simple but works. Took some time to load but great to see app helping reduce the brain rot of modern technology.

### 5/5 — Works well, meets expectations!

*2025-03-18, version 6.5*

My son had to go on a school trip without a phone and wanted to being an mp3 player, and this worked as an awesome alternative! Use is very straightforward and easy to understand, and has many robust functions! 5 stars!

### 5/5 — Music

*2024-05-20, version 5.8*

The Mighty tool is easy to carry around with you during walks, runs, bikes, and even airplane rides. This thing is incredible!

### 5/5 — Great for kids

*2023-02-09, version 3.11*

I love this player. Have had it for about 2 years now. I can provide curated playlists for my young kids via Spotify - so it’s easy to refresh, and there are no screens or need for data. It gets them interacting more with music, which is awesome.

Syncing is not very fast, but that’s understandable given content has to be downloaded. No issues connecting or using the app for me. It’s a pretty simple player (akin to the old iPod shuffle), but that’s exactly what I was after and don’t think anything else like it exists.

### 5/5 — It’s simple and that’s what it says

*2022-06-05, version 3.8*

I was apprehensive to buy one of these devices based on the reviews here. I can’t say I’ve experienced the same trouble as other users.

The device is a minimalist music player that does everything I was looking for. I did not have any trouble with the set up, synchronizing music, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth. It just works fine. The app is not the slickest interface, but it gets the job done, and once you are done with the initial configuration you never need to use the app again.

The synchronization of music does take quite a long time, but it continues just fine in the background even if you turn your phone off. It averaged about two minutes per 20 songs. That really adds up when you are transferring 1000 songs.

There is a really nice feature in which you can set it to automatically update your playlists every night while it charges. I’ve tested that as well and it works great. This makes it so you never have to deal with the app. Just keep your playlists updated in Spotify and they will show up on the device. Nice.

Overall, I’m not sure if the developers have finally gotten the bugs out, or if the other users are unsure how to use the device. I’m satisfied with it, but do wish the battery lasted all day. So far I’ve gotten about 4.5hrs per charge.

Overall, a great little device that fills the niche left behind by the iPod shuffle, with reduced battery but offering Bluetooth headphone support.

### 5/5 — Fantastic device, want to encourage the company to keep up to date with the app

*2022-03-30, version 3.8*

So far zero issues, I can see how the app can be finicky. I appreciate this advice so much, I am surprised there aren’t more devices on the market like it. It works great. Want to encourage the company to put some money into the app to continuously update and improve it.

### 5/5 — Good

*2022-03-27, version 3.8*

Works well once sorted takes a bit of figuring out tho

### 5/5 — Mighty

*2021-10-25, version 3.7*

Esta genial! Os lo aconsego de verdad ademas puedes escuchar musica donde quieres!
