### 4/5 — Great app

*2026-01-17, version 4.2.9*

Great app, wish it would fill the screen though. The report function is good. Carry over to other devices is a good option. I use this for reports for my PCP and neurologist.

### 4/5 — Needs offline mode

*2025-09-06*

This app was 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for me until we went camping and I couldn’t record any migraines until we returned. There should be an offline mode to log migraines and then send them when back online.

**Developer response:** Thank you very much for your feedback and positive comments! We will forward your offline mode suggestion to our Development Team for review.

### 4/5 — Very helpful

*2024-05-11, version 4.2.9*

I’ve been meaning to monitor my migraines for two years but you know, headaches. This has made it easy. I would like to be able to add additional medication taken during the headache not just at the beginning. Also a great addition would be being able to log suspected triggers when they don’t cause a headache - otherwise it’s hard to establish cause and effect.

### 3/5 — Softer Tone Needed

*2023-11-11*

Used this app for the first time, and while it seems to be a fairly easy process the thing that stood out to me the most was the brightness. Personally, I’m in dark mode whenever I can be and it’s especially helpful when you are in the middle of a migraine trying to type information not to have bright colors thrown at you. Is there a way we can select dark mode for this app??

**Developer response:** Hi. Thank you for this feedback about dark mode. The app doesn't currently support dark mode, but our Development Team has this under review for the next major update to the app.

### 4/5 — Good App So Far

*2022-11-29, version 4.2.8*

Just got the app 2 days ago. Have had a migraine for 3 days on and off. So far I think it is good for realization of triggers.

### 4/5 — Works well

*2021-10-23*

In my 20+ hears with CDH and migraine, I’ve always struggled with consistently tracking the intensity of my headaches. This app is the only thing I’ve found that actually works. Hopefully, integration with Apple Watch and Health will be added. Being able to update my headache status on my watch would significantly increase the accuracy of the data shared with my neurologist.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the great review. We will forward your comments on Apple Watch integration to our Development Team for review.

### 4/5 — Good for reflection

*2021-04-16*

This app is really convenient for reflection, but when I’m migraining, I can’t use it because screen time makes my migraines worse. If only I could say “note migraine” and Siri would activate to ask me questions about my migraine so I don’t have to wince while cautiously peeking at the screen. I wouldn’t have to post a migraine 3 days after it started and summarize the days. It would help if I could enter information as the migraine increases or decreases after I try each new thing I throw at it. It would be helpful if Siri asked me every 3 hours, the status of my migraine. When I’m completely incapacitated and barely functional, Migraine Monitor, through Siri can make accurate notes for me rather than me trying t remember when what happened over the past few days.

**Developer response:** Hi. Thank you very much for providing your thoughtful feedback! We will pass this along to our Development Team for review and possible inclusion in an upcoming version of the app.

### 4/5 — Worked great, now everything is gone

*2021-01-05*

Updated: I reached out to tech support and they were very quick and responsive. They were able to get everything resolved and my data was retrieved. Thank you so much!

I just tried to log an end to a migraine a months of data is completely gone. I just started a new treatment a month ago and now I have zero data to show my neurologist. I’m practically in tears because it’s not backed up anywhere.

**Developer response:** UPDATE: We're glad that you were able to access your data again. And thanks so much for updating your review! -- Hello. We're very sorry that you were unable to access your data. We experienced a temporary server outage on December 30th which has now been resolved. Please contact us at CustomerCare@rpmhealthcare.com if your data is still unavailable.

### 5/5 — Helpful app

*2020-11-21, version 4.2.3*

Started migraine medication. This is helping to track how well it is working and the side effects. The app has a tutorial section that is helpful.

### 3/5 — Awareness

*2020-08-07, version 4.2.3*

My GP asked about frequency and severity of essentially never before experienced symptoms. I couldn’t be specific so found this app. GP can now properly asses my symptoms and treatment. I would rate information a 5 but the 3 was because there aren’t enough instructions on use of app and I initially ended up deleting a lot of info because I did what looked logical. Am still using having said that.

### 5/5 — The best I’ve tried

*2020-07-11, version 4.2.3*

After trying Migraine Buddy, HeadApp and N1-Headache (all of which had features that I liked) I’ve settled on this as it comes closest to offering what works best for me, in an easy to use and review way. The developers have been very quick and helpful when replying to my queries and suggestions for changes.

### 3/5 — Just okay

*2020-05-29*

I downloaded this app a year or two ago in my neurologist office from the magazine with the latest neuro issues in it. My Doctor is not apart of this apps network of providers so I would bring the data in to my appointments or email the results to him. The app is easy to fill out but half the time I forget to log out of the headache when it is gone. The app sometimes sends me a reminder or I do turn it off and when I return to log a new headache it is still recording the last one and I know I logged out. This app just does nothing for me and my dr only needs to know how often and severe my migraines are.

**Developer response:** We apologize that Migraine Monitor didn't work consistently well for you. We appreciate your feedback and will pass it along to our Tech Team for review.

### 4/5 — So far so good

*2019-11-05, version 4.0.3*

I like that it allows me to add new meds and triggers. I would like it to let me post other ways I treat my pain. I put my Medtronic stem under meds.

### 4/5 — I really like it!!

*2019-08-18*

I love this app because of all the notes you have to add when logging the migraine because I’m the type of person who won’t add it if I don’t have to do it. My one problem is the app won’t actually open anymore. Hasn’t for a few months now and I’m stuck logging it the old fashioned way and missing a lot of details.

**Developer response:** Hi. We're very sorry you experienced difficulties opening Migraine Monitor. We have recently released an updated version of the app, which you may want to try. If you're still having trouble accessing Migraine Monitor, please contact us at CustomerCare@RPMHealthcare.com.

### 3/5 — Missing important features. Poor customer service.

*2019-08-01*

I can’t figure out if / how to record varying headache intensity throughout the course of the headache. I’d also like to be able to document, not just that a trigger or a symptom happened, but when it happened. I’d also like to document variation in headache location over time. I emailed customer support yesterday early morning about headache intensity and still haven’t gotten a response this evening.

**Developer response:** Hi Ashlee. We sincerely apologize for missing your email. We will pass along your suggestions to our Development Team for possible inclusion in a future update to Migraine Monitor. If you have further questions, please contact us at CustomerCare@RPMHealthcare.com.

### 5/5 — Great monitoring tool for migraines

*2019-05-11, version 4.0.3*

This App is a great tool to monitor migraine attacks, medicines taken, and effectiveness of the medicine once the migraine has subsided. I also like the reminders on my phone that reminds me to log any changes in the migraine.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Unable to register

*2023-08-25, version 4.2.9*

This app sounds really good. I downloaded the app but am unable to register. The birthday field is set to today's date and I am unable to change it.

### 1/5 — Thanks for nothing

*2020-01-03*

Had a couple of times when I went into the app to start a headache to see that the previous headache was still going when I know I stopped it and after investigating it this morning I now know why...there is no way to stop a headache on this app. I push end this headache and the prompted yes and it takes me thru the process to create a new headache. I ended up having to clear the headache to get it to stop. So I decided to look back thru all of the time that I’ve been using the app and there’s nothing there. Thanks for nothing. Deleted.

**Developer response:** We're very sorry that you had a disappointing experience using Migraine Monitor. It's possible that the issues you describe may have been related to not having an active internet connection via either WiFi or mobile data. One thing to try would be to make sure you're connected to the internet and then open the app again to see if your data is being displayed. If this doesn't solve the problem, please feel free to contact us at CustomerCare@RPMHealthcare.com

### 1/5 — I have lost so much data!!!

*2019-01-28, version 4.0.2*

This used to be my favorite migraine tracker. Somewhere along the latest updates the app completely crashed erased months of data and now will not track anything. I am disappointed to say the least.

### 1/5 — Excessive stressing notifications

*2019-01-18, version 4.0.2*

Just deleted it. Being constantly reminded to record migraines worked as trigger for them.

### 1/5 — I get a headache from using this app

*2017-10-31, version 3.0.3*

I get a headache from using this app.. it's constantly freezing and changes every other week

### 1/5 — I used to be excited about this app...

*2017-10-29, version 3.0.3*

It was easy to use (which is essential during a migraine) The new “update” freezes and is less user friendly making the data provided less verifiable and skewed. Simple yet ability to add data is key.. hate the app now and not really using.

### 1/5 — I do NOT like the latest updates!

*2017-10-09*

The latest updates have almost entirely changed the app! It is nearly impossible to load correctly now. Error messages galore, the input interface is too different from before... making it VERY difficult to log my headaches. Wish it was back to the way it was prior to the large update several days ago. 😔

**Developer response:** We thank you for using the app and have taken your review seriously. A simplified version is now out that address your concerns. We invite you to try it and let us know how we’ve done.

### 2/5 — Glitchy

*2018-11-11*

I have only used the program for one day but it has shut down on me 5 times unexpectedly. It looks like it would be helpful if the glitches can be fixed. I was impressed with how it notified me 30 minutes or so after I said I took medicine and asked how the medicine worked. I will keep trying to use it and hope the glitch gets fixed in future versions.

### 3/5 — Great concept but changed?

*2025-08-02*

I have been using this app for a couple of years now, amid it's the best way to track my migraine and occipital neuralgia I've ever seen.

Recently I've noticed that the written notes are not attached to headache days in the calendar view as they were before. It is nice to see notes in a list form as they are now, but I would like to be able to see them on the monthly headache calendar view as they were before (little paperclip icon).

I would also love to be able to remove default symptoms and medications from the lists -- when migraining, it's hard to wade through all of three symptoms and meds I've never had/used to find the few I do.

**Developer response:** Hi. Apologies for the delay in responding to your feedback. We appreciate your thoughtful comments. They have been passed along to our development team for review and possible inclusion in the next major update to the app.

### 3/5 — needs a better way to end migraines

*2023-12-18*

Overall, I like the app. And it lets you record headaches that occurred/started earlier. However if you if forget it’s running the time you end it is considered the total duration of the headache. There needs to be a way to end at a pervious date/time; not just end now or delete the data.

**Developer response:** Hello. It is possible to edit the end time of a headache. Please contact us at CustomerCare@rpmhealthcare.com for instructions.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great headache tracker

*2025-09-26, version 4.2.9*

Easy to use, love the graphs to review

### 5/5 — Goo Tracker and Trigger Tracker

*2025-04-28*

The tracker itself if simple and to the point. Also allows customization, which I like. I also like the Trigger tracker. I make a note to indicate my triggers in the morning and at night. Not only helps me see if a migraine is potentially coming, but also as a reminder to avoid those triggers (i.e. too many sweets, diary, dehydration, etc) that day or the next.

**Developer response:** Thanks so much for the great review! We're glad to hear you're finding it to be helpful!

### 5/5 — Really good app!

*2025-02-26, version 4.2.9*

It’s actually genuinely free, and I enjoy the anonymous conversations you can have with other sufferers.

### 5/5 — Very Helpful for Treatment

*2024-06-10*

This app is the sole reason I was finally able to receive proper treatment for my migraines/headaches. I suffered for ten years without doctors taking me serious. I started using this (completely free) app to track occurrences for three months. Then I showed my family doctor the reports from this app and his jaw dropped. I was put on meds and sent to a migraine specialist to further refine treatment. I have been using this app for almost four years and continue to do so to provide the data my doctors need to maintain my wellness. Thank you to the team that created and maintains this app, please don’t stop.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your review. Feedback like yours is the reason we created this app and it's rewarding to know that it has been helpful to you.

### 5/5 — Very helpful

*2023-11-12*

As a recent person who has been diagnosed with chronic migraines, this app has been very, more like extremely helpful I’m tracking my migraines/headaches. Instead of guessing the amount I have monthly, I now know the exact number. I can pull up my past months and let my doctor know exactly how many I’ve had. Highly recommended.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your great review! We're very glad to hear that you have found it helpful!

### 5/5 — Very Helpful

*2023-04-21*

I’ve been using this app for a few weeks now. It’s going to be very useful for giving my doctor data when I go see her. It’s user friendly.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your great review!

### 5/5 — Great way to track migraines!

*2022-12-24*

This app has been very helpful for helping me to think about possible triggers. It can be difficult to determine what triggers cause migraines such as weather, sleep or stress. I love that I can add a migraine later, once it’s done. I am so glad I found this app!

**Developer response:** Thank you for the 5-star review! We're glad you found our app, too!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2022-02-18, version 4.2.8*

This app is really helping me to log and review my symptoms. I am also finding the community posts really useful too.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2021-11-09, version 4.2.7*

I love this app to monitor all my headache activities.

### 5/5 — Best app for tracking migraines

*2021-06-09*

I don’t normally write reviews but the more I use it the more I love it. It allows tracking and editing of so
much headache and migraine related data. It took me awhile to get used to it but I have used many similar apps and this is the only one I use now.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for the great review!
