## What is Migraine Sentry?

Know before the pain, without logging everything.

Most migraine trackers ask you to record everything. Migraine Sentry works differently. It uses Apple Watch, Apple Health and weather data to build a picture of your personal baseline. Your devices collect the signals. You log the migraine. Migraine Sentry connects the two.

Once your baseline is ready, each morning brings a simple Low, Moderate or Elevated vulnerability forecast. Look seven days ahead for pressure-related and cycle-related risk. As your history grows, Migraine Sentry explains what changed before your attacks, ranks the signals most closely linked to them and shows which treatments appear to work best for you.

WHAT YOU GET

• A personal migraine vulnerability forecast each morning
• A seven-day outlook based on weather, pressure and your own patterns
• Passive analysis of sleep, HRV, resting heart rate, activity, wrist temperature and more, where available
• Personal trigger rankings based on attacks and normal days
• Plain-language explanations of what differed from your baseline
• Fast logging from iPhone or Apple Watch, with an active migraine shown through a Live Activity on your Lock Screen
• Optional check-ins for stress, hydration, caffeine, alcohol and skipped meals
• Cycle awareness for cycle-related patterns, if you choose
• A clear clinical PDF for your doctor or neurologist

HOW IT LEARNS

Log a migraine and Migraine Sentry captures the surrounding context. After several attacks, it begins surfacing emerging patterns. With more history, it becomes better able to distinguish signals that appear before your migraines from signals that are also common on normal days.

NO APPLE WATCH?

You can still use migraine logging, iPhone pressure readings, weather, check-ins, history and reports. Compatible wearables that write sleep and heart-rate data to Apple Health can provide additional signals.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Raw Apple Health readings are processed on your iPhone and never sent to our servers. Migraine entries and settings can back up through your private iCloud account. Migraine Sentry does not operate a migraine-data server.

FREE AND PREMIUM

Migraine logging, history, check-ins, your daily forecast level and the core clinical report are free.

Migraine Sentry Premium adds the reasons behind your forecast, live signal nudges, detailed seven-day outlook information, personal trigger rankings, pattern and treatment insights, and expanded report analysis.

Every new user receives a 21-day full-access Premium Preview once their forecast is ready. The preview does not start a subscription or renew automatically.

Premium is available as an auto-renewing subscription ($24.99/year or $3.99/month; local prices may vary). Payment is charged to your Apple Account at purchase confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in Settings.

Migraine Sentry is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition. Forecasts and insights are informational only. Always consult your healthcare provider about your migraines.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.7 — 2026-09-11

Your own symptoms and foods
Add up to 8 of each in Profile > Custom Items. They show up in the survey, on your watch, in your insights and in your clinical report, and are checked as triggers like everything else.

Your lists, one look
Medications and custom items now share the same list, with rename and remove on every row.

A sharper morning forecast
The forecast computed before you open the app now includes the night's measured pressure and weather.

### 1.1.6 — 2026-09-10

Every signal we checked. Under your trigger ranking, one line now shows how many signals the app tested against your migraines: linked, no link so far, and not enough data yet. Tap it to see all 26, why each one is or is not linked, and what would let the rest be tested.

Pressure that fits where you live. The trigger ranking now judges a pressure fall against what the air normally does in your area, so a daily tide never counts and only a fall unusual for you does. The week-ahead pressure graph no longer magnifies calm weeks, and its explanation now uses your area's own numbers.

Log a migraine you missed. Add a past migraine with its start and end from History, or set an earlier start time when you begin tracking one. Health data for those hours is read from Apple Health.

Fill in missed check-ins. Any of the last 7 days can be added or finished from the Today tab.

Bug fixes and refinements.

### 1.1.5 — 2026-09-08

Smarter morning forecast. Proven migraine triggers like short sleep now show in your forecast even before the app has confirmed them for you, weighted by how unusual they are for you. Elevated risk now needs at least one of your own confirmed triggers, so the forecast never overstates a day on general evidence alone.

Fixed: health data recorded around recent migraines was not being saved, leaving the migraine timeline and trigger analysis short. Existing migraines repair themselves the first time you open this update.

The morning after a migraine, widgets and the Watch no longer show the previous day's forecast while today's is on its way.

Recovery tips now suit the time of day.

Clinical report: the pre-migraine table now reads sleep as the night before and steps and exercise per day.

Bug fixes and refinements.

### 1.1.4 — 2026-09-05

Finishing your daily check-in now gets a small moment of its own, with
your check-in streak beside it.

### 1.1.3 — 2026-09-03

Pressure warnings are now based on real day-to-day falls, the kind
research links to migraines, so the daily rhythm of the air in warm
climates no longer shows up as risk.

Fixed the Premium screen's subscribed button being hard to read, and
added a Manage subscription option.

Watch complication text is easier to read in Always-On.

One big pressure spike no longer flattens your trigger charts.
