## What is Migraine Tracker Mobile?

Migraine Tracker helps you understand your migraines — not just log them.

Every migraine tells a story: what you ate, what the weather was doing, what medication you took, how bad it was. Migraine Tracker captures all of it in one place, so patterns you'd never spot day-to-day become visible over weeks and months.

WHAT YOU CAN TRACK
• Migraine events — an optional 1–10 severity scale, plus free-form notes
• Meals — what you ate and how long before the migraine started
• Medications — build a saved list of what you take, then just tap to log it
• Weather conditions — log manually

Logging a full migraine event walks you through severity, meal, medication, and weather in one guided flow — or use any of the four screens on their own for a quick, single entry.

DICTATE, DON'T TYPE
Every notes field leads with a microphone button so you can just talk. Typing always works too, but on a bad day, talking is easier.

BUILT FOR PRIVACY, FIRST
This is health data, so it's treated like health data:
• Locked behind Face ID (or a PIN, if Face ID isn't available)
• Sensitive fields — notes, meals, medications, weather details — are encrypted with AES-256 before they're ever saved
• Nothing is ever sent to us. There are no ad networks, no analytics, no third-party trackers of any kind
• If you turn on iCloud sync, your data moves between your own iPhone, iPad, and Mac through your own private iCloud account — never through our servers, because we don't have any

SEE YOUR HISTORY
Browse your recent logs at a glance — last 7 days, 30 days, or 6 months — filtered by type, so you can spot patterns in what you ate, what the weather was like, or what you took.

EXPORT FOR DEEPER ANALYSIS
Export any date range to Markdown or CSV. Hand it to your doctor, load it into a spreadsheet, or feed it to an AI tool to look for correlations across meals, weather, and medication that are hard to catch by eye. Export happens entirely on your device — nothing uploads automatically.

Migraine Tracker runs on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Silicon Mac.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4.8 — 2026-09-25

• New: Analyze My Journal. Pick a date range and get a summary of your
migraines, with the key data points and a written overview, to bring
  to your doctor. Runs entirely on your device with Apple Intelligence;
nothing is uploaded. Requires iOS 26 or later on a device that
  supports Apple Intelligence.
• Customize the summary's instructions in Preferences › Analysis Prompt.
• Fixed Touch ID or password prompts appearing on Mac when the app
  wasn't open.
• Pain location now reads correctly on the front view of the head.
• Fixed iCloud sync between iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
• Refreshed app icon.

### 1.4.6 — 2026-09-18

• Pain location now reads correctly on the front view of the head:
tapping your left temple or left eye on the face diagram records
  your left side.
• Fixed iCloud sync between iPhone, iPad, and Mac so all your devices
  show the same history.
• Refreshed app icon.

### 1.4.5 — 2026-09-12

Symptoms tracking
• Log an Event now includes a Symptoms step: tap symptom tags, mark
where it hurts on front and back head diagrams, and choose the kind
  of pain. Everything is optional.
• Manage your own symptom list in Preferences › Symptoms.

Pain level charts
• See your pain levels over the last 7, 30, and 90 days on the main
screen. On the 7- and 30-day charts, days with more than one score
show that day's high and low together.

iCloud sync
• Fixed an issue where your other devices might not show your history.
• New Preferences › iCloud Sync screen shows whether sync is working.

Also
• New app icon.

### 1.4.2 — 2026-09-10

Symptoms tracking

• Record what a migraine actually felt like, not just how bad it was.
Log an Event now includes a Symptoms step with tappable symptom tags.
• Mark where the pain is on front and back head diagrams — temples,
behind either eye, forehead, top of head, base of skull, or the whole
head. Tap as many spots as apply.
• Choose one or more kinds of pain: dull ache, sharp, throbbing,
stabbing, persistent pressure, or semi-persistent pressure.
• Everything in this step is optional. Skip whatever doesn't apply.

Your own symptom list

• Preferences now has a Symptoms section where you can add, rename, or
remove the tags you use. It starts with Nausea, Light sensitivity,
  Sound sensitivity, and Fatigue.
• Deleting a symptom removes it from the list without altering entries
  that already recorded it.

Pain level charts

• The main screen now shows your pain levels over the last 7, 30, and
  90 days.
• Each bar is the worst severity you logged that day. Days you logged
nothing appear as gaps rather than zeros, so a quiet day never looks
  like a pain-free one.

Everywhere else

• Symptoms, pain location, and kind of pain appear in View Logged Data,
can be changed when you edit an entry, and are included in both
  Markdown and CSV exports.
• New app icon.
• Various fixes and refinements under the hood.
