## What is MigraineTrack?

MigraineTrack is a calm, simple headache and migraine diary. Record an attack in under a minute, see your month at a glance, and bring clear records to your doctor.

LOG AN ATTACK IN SECONDS
Tap the big button or any day in the calendar. Set the intensity from 1 to 10, choose the type and location of pain, mark aura symptoms and possible triggers, and add the medicines you took with dose and quantity. Add the time and a short note — what helped, what came before. Had a second attack in the evening? Log it separately: every attack keeps its own time, medicines and note.

YOUR MONTH AT A GLANCE
The calendar marks every day with a headache and shows how many attacks a day had. Tap a day to open its card with all attacks — edit, delete or add one. Swipe between months, and the counter shows how many headache days you've had this month.

MEDICATION DAYS, COUNTED THE IHS WAY
Assign each medicine to a group: NSAIDs, triptans, gepants or other. Trends shows on how many days of the month you took each group — two attacks treated on one day count as one day, as the International Headache Society recommends. Bars turn orange near the monthly limit and red when it is exceeded, to help you notice the risk of medication-overuse (rebound) headache in time. The year view shows in how many months the limit was exceeded. A short article explains the limits and how medication-overuse headache is treated.

TRENDS
A daily intensity chart for the current month, your previous months, and a full-year view with medicines by group.

HEADACHE DIARY
Write notes in your own words — new or unusual symptoms, questions for your next appointment. Edit or delete them with a swipe.

MENSTRUAL CYCLE
Mark the start of each period, and period and ovulation days appear right on your headache calendar, so hormonal patterns become easier to see. Past cycles stay accurate when your cycle length changes.

MAKE IT YOURS
Light, Dark and Sepia themes or your own accent color, and a larger font if you prefer. English, Russian, Ukrainian, Turkish, Italian and Spanish, chosen from your device language.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no ads, no tracking. Your records stay on your device and sync only through your own iCloud. We never see your data.

MigraineTrack is a personal diary, not a medical device. It does not diagnose or treat any condition. Medication schedules are set only by your doctor — discuss any changes with them.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.0.3 — 2026-10-17

Several attacks a day — each attack is now a separate entry with its own time, so an evening attack no longer replaces the morning one. Your earlier entries are kept and marked "time not set".

• iCloud sync now works: your entries are kept in your private iCloud and sync between your devices.
• Add a note to any attack: what helped, what came before.
• Day card: tap a day to see all its attacks, edit them or add one.
• Swipe between months; the app opens on today.
• Trends: medication days counted correctly when several attacks share a day; the year view no longer compares yearly totals with the monthly limit and shows months over the limit instead.
• Dates and weekdays in your language; delete now asks for confirmation; many smaller fixes.

If you use MigraineTrack on several devices with iCloud, please update it on all of them so your entries stay in sync.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-06-18

Our biggest update yet — a redesigned home screen, full entry editing, and new medication tracking.

HOME & EDITING
• A large "Record migraine attack" button is now front and center — log symptoms in one tap.
• Edit any attack: swipe today's entry on the home screen, or tap a day in History. Forgot to add a medication? Fix it anytime.
• Add entries for past days directly from the History calendar.

CLEARER CALENDAR
• Brighter colors clearly separate migraine days from menstruation days, so they never blend.

MEDICATION TRACKING (NEW)
• Assign each medicine to a group: NSAIDs, triptans, gepants, or other.
• Trends (formerly Statistics) shows how many days per month you took each group, with individual medicines broken down by days and pills.
• Overuse warnings: bars turn orange near the monthly limit and red when exceeded, following International Headache Society (IHS) guidance, to help prevent medication-overuse (rebound) headache.
• New article "Important about migraine medications", with a link to the IHS clinical guidelines.

MORE DETAIL
• New aura types (brainstem, retinal) and triggers (intense exercise, strong smell, bright/flashing light).
• Smarter cycle tracking: mark each menstruation start; past cycles stay accurate when your cycle length changes.
• Fixed a diary bug and improved stability.

As always: no account, no ads, no tracking. Your data stays on your device with optional iCloud sync.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-05-14

Version 1.0.1 brings important improvements based on user feedback:

- Redesigned diary — new "Add note" button opens a focused editor for distraction-free writing. Edit or delete existing notes with a swipe.

- Smarter menstrual cycle tracking — instead of one fixed setting, you can now add a mark for each menstruation start. Past cycles stay unchanged when your cycle length changes, so historical data remains accurate for sharing with your doctor.

- Bigger, centered app title for better visual hierarchy
- Consistent title sizes across all screens
- Improved text contrast in light themes
- Brighter, more accessible accent colors
- Various bug fixes and stability improvements

### 1.0 — 2026-04-30
