Search now shows the closest mosques first.

Zakat Calculator
The entered amount can now be changed later. We also fixed the bug that could reset the amount in Arabic, Persian, Urdu, and Bengali.

Appearance
The Qibla compass now looks correct in Light mode. Text is more readable, and the home screen keeps the same layout across themes.

Shared verse and prayer time images now include an app link.

### 5.5.0 — 2026-08-03

An important prayer time accuracy fix, and a much better way to track sunnah prayers.

• Prayer times and notifications were computed in the wrong time zone in many places. If you use "use my location", this affected you anywhere your country spans more than one time zone — Los Angeles was four hours out, Vladivostok six. If you pick a city from the list, cities outside Turkey were affected. Time zone handling has been rebuilt for all 216 cities and for live location.
• Sunnah prayers and witr are now marked from the prayer they belong to. Open "Sunnah units" under any prayer in Prayer Tracking to mark them; witr sits under Isha. The separate sunnah screen is gone. Tahajjud, duha and awwabin have their own Optional Prayers section on the same page, and everything follows the day you have selected, so you can fill in a day you missed.
• You can now hear a notification sound before you choose it. Tap the listen button beside any adhan, during setup or in Notification Center.
• My Profile now remembers. Current and longest streaks, badges that stay earned, and your year at a glance. Breaking a streak no longer erases your record.
• The keyboard on the Zakat Calculator can be dismissed again. The number pad now has a confirm key, and tapping anywhere on the page also closes it.
• Nearby Mosques: a "use my location" button, a clear difference between "no mosque nearby" and "could not load the list", and the page no longer searches over and over while it is open.
• Qada Plan: the six prayers now fit in two rows instead of three, and prayers you owe nothing for no longer take up the screen.
• Only approximate location is sent when searching for nearby mosques.
• Fixed the version shown on the Settings screen.
• Improved screen reader support: the tasbih counter, qibla reading and qada counters are now announced properly.
• Backup files are validated on restore, so a damaged file can no longer corrupt your settings silently.
• On iPhone, the notification screen now explains why the 15 and 30 minute reminders only reach the nearest days.
• Fixed a layout problem on the Indonesian setup screens.
