## What is Mihruna?

Mihruna brings prayer times, the adhan at the exact time, a source-backed Quran reader and the qibla into one calm app.

ADHAN AND PRAYER TIMES
• Times for your city, with the calculation method that fits your country (Diyanet-compatible for Türkiye, ISNA, MWL, Umm al-Qura, Karachi and more).
• The adhan sounds the moment the time begins. Switch each prayer on or off; Fajr has its own recording, and one tap stops it.
• Monthly timetable, plus Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets.
• Times are calculated and can differ from an official timetable by a minute or two.

THE NOBLE QURAN
• All 114 surahs in the Tanzil text, with translations in several languages.
• Word-by-word following: the word being recited is highlighted as you listen.
• Alafasy, Sudais and Husary recitations; download surahs and listen offline.
• Bookmarks, continue where you left off, reading and khatm plans, revision tools for memorisation.
• No ads while you read or listen to the Quran.

QIBLA
• Compass direction to the qibla, with a clear warning when the compass is unreliable.
• The direction is computed on your phone; your location is never sent to a server.

DAILY LIFE
• Verse of the day, a dua and hadith library, dhikr counter, Ramadan and travel tools.

PRIVACY
• Works without an account. Your worship, reading and location data are never shared with the ad network and never sold.

MIHRUNA PRO
• The free version shows a limited number of ads outside the worship screens. Pro removes every ad.
• Monthly, yearly or a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends; manage them in your store account.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.8 — 2026-10-08

In this release:
• Battery use fixed: the app no longer keeps running in the background, and the widget refreshes less often.
• Quran duas and dhikr verses expanded: Ayat al-Kursi, the closing verses of al-Baqara and more than 70 verses.
• The 99 Names now show a meaning for every name, in your language.
• Daily duas and dhikr for waking, eating, travelling and after the prayer (in Turkish).
• Small fixes.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-10-03

In this release:
• Three ways to read the Quran: verse by verse, Mushaf pages, and Turkish meaning pages. Pages turn like the leaves of a book.
• Listening on the Mushaf page: the verse and word being recited are marked, and the page turns by itself.
• Go straight to a page or a juz.
• Book pages for the Cevşen: Arabic and reading.
• The mark over unpronounced letters is now drawn correctly.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-10-03

In this release:
• Battery use fixed: the app no longer keeps running in the background after Quran listening is paused or the connection drops.
• The daily ayah notification shows the verse itself and opens it when tapped.
• Small fixes.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-09-30

In this release:
• The daily ayah notification now shows the verse itself: surah, verse number and translation.
• Tapping a notification opens the right page: the verse for the daily ayah, the prayer times for a prayer alert.
• Small fixes and improvements.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-09-28

In this release:
• The adhan now rings as an alarm: on iOS 26 and later, the full adhan plays as an iPhone alarm at the prayers you choose.
• A new adhan recording; notifications carry its first 29 seconds.
• Live second-by-second countdown on widgets and Apple Watch.
• Zakat calculator using the Diyanet nisab: gold, silver, cash and debts.
• A new look: Kufi headings, girih texture, a lamp-lit tab bar.
• Our own illustration set for empty and error screens.
• Animations: lantern pull-to-refresh, living sky, Kaaba curtain, tesbih beads, Ramadan curtain, gold dust on goals.
