### 3/5 — Nice concept but poor UI

*2022-11-17, version 4.4*

coming from a UX/UI designer standpoint, I downloaded the app just to see what sort of products would be on there, and to get a feel for this app in case I’d ever considering buying anything. because I do love supporting small businesses, specifically black owned businesses when I can. But, unfortunately, the layout is so cluttered and confusing and it also is not favorably compatible with my iPhone 13. A lot of buttons are not clickable or functional — just because of where they are positioned on the screen. I would really love to see this app have a “makeover” and starting with a new UI. I feel like that would make the experience so much more enjoyable. It’s an amazing concept, and I commend the developer for doing all of this, but it just seems like it’s time for the app to get a visual update.

### 5/5 — Love love love!!!

*2022-09-20, version 4.4*

Great products from a variety of stores! It feels good to be supporting small Black owned business as well! The person who runs this app does so without charging fees to the companies using it which is amazing! (He also runs a great twitter)

### 1/5 — Started off good but went down

*2022-08-27, version 4.4*

I was excited that I found a platform that small businesses could advertise their items. Initially things was going good with payments and the vendor would be paid within 2-3 days upon requesting a withdrawal and now it’s taking months to be paid out when the customer has already received their merchandise. As a small business one cannot afford to be giving out free merchandise be that’s what it seems like is happening. The owner provides you with a number to text him so that you can receive your payment and that goes nowhere. I’ve been waiting on my payment for 3 months now and has text at his request “late payment “.

### 1/5 — Support Black Businesses Somewhere Else

*2022-08-17, version 4.4*

This a great idea and hopefully it can be properly executed by somebody with the proper resources one day. The UI is not user friendly at all. Customers struggle with using the app. OSN claims to use Shopify but even the most inexperienced person could put together a better website/app. Biggest issue: VENDORS ARE NOT BEING PAID. His guarantee is 2-3 days but for the past 9-10 months, he is taking weeks to months to pay vendors out. Customers have already received products and started using them, yet we haven’t even been paid. He is apparently going through a difficult time right now so it appears he is using vendors’ money (as it goes to his account) and just pays them back whenever he can, which is FRAUD. My advice, if you can’t afford to run this yourself and won’t apply for grants to cover costs, just set up a small fee for vendors. Either way, we’d be grateful for the platform. It’s a shame that such a great concept has yielded so many poor experiences. Be cautious using this app.

### 1/5 — Owner is withholding my funds & ignoring my messages

*2022-08-03, version 4.4*

Been a vendor on Miiriya for 1yr+ & for the most part haven’t had any issues until recently. It’s been taking weeks to months for the owner to deposit the money my shop has made into my account, and when I message him about it he doesn’t respond. Didn’t want to have to even make this a public matter but trying to keep it private and professional clearly isn’t working. If you’re looking to vend be aware. Not even worth me keeping my shop on the platform anymore.

### 5/5 — I LOVE IT

*2022-05-06*

Great app that represents black businesses, I’ve found so many things to order from, at a good price too

### 3/5 — User interface is unappealing

*2022-04-13, version 4.1*

I’m surprised by reading some reviews that no one was talking about the interface. It’s very childlike or something that looks like a final project for a coding 1 class. I want to love this app because i love the intentions behind it like 100%. But i think contacting someone from like fiverr that can refine that app seems like a good investment.

### 5/5 — The app and owner are terrific!

*2022-03-01, version 3.8*

So the other night, I saw Bri’s Bakery come across through Miiriya’s app and I decided to place an order. There were technical issues but reached out to Miiriya directly and she got them resolved very efficiently. My order came last Saturday and those brownies are some kind of delicious! Highly recommend 10/10

### 5/5 — Love to see it

*2022-02-28*

This app is great, so many amazing Black businesses and people thriving, a world of cool products.

I came across a bug while using the app, and after reaching out on twitter the devs had the issue solved in minutes. Love the mission, can’t wait to become a vendor!

### 1/5 — Very disappointed

*2021-12-17, version 3.4*

I love that they are a black owned marketplace and I have made sales from them but as a vendor I’m very disappointed. I have reached out to them multiple times regarding me not receiving my money I withdrew over a week ago yet they still didn’t respond. They are very unprofessional when it comes to customer service. They need to hire a better customer service team. I’m debating if I want to remove myself from their platform now.
