It feels like the company started trying to develop an app and in the middle just said “Eff this!” and abandoned the development. UI is horrible. Constantly having to log in with a username or Koki rewards number every time you want to place an order is ridiculous! Why doesn’t the app remember me like all other apps!? Honestly you’d be better off just bookmarking their website and placing your order that way. @Mikuni just take down this app as it is a waste of space! ### 1/5 — Horrible app *2023-07-10* App always asks for login. Quite a nuisance to have to find my username and password every time I order. And if you sign in on the home page and then click on Order, you have to sign in yet again. The menu itself is similarly unwieldy, requiring a lot of back and forth clicking just to find items. I regularly order from other sushi restaurants because having to sign in on this app every single time bothers me so much. ### 1/5 — Complete garbage and horrible customer service *2022-09-08* I can’t log on to the app. I’m able to logging on the website, but not the mobile app. Nothing happens when I click login with my password. It’s contradicting to any businesses that don’t accept contactless payment but rather get perks through their app. Yes they have App. And if you sign up, then login with your account you get perks. I like perks. But come on method of payment CASH/Cards No contactless ? But why do I need phone to be able to view their menu? What is on the menu? well use your phone, scan, view online. huh? They got everything except pay by contactless. They seriously need an IT specialist to program that payment system. I have some bad vibes and am not sure this is the right sushi bar for myself and my family. My brother Ken Self would always frequent your restaurant the original one near Folsom. I never went with him as raw fish makes me vomit a little bit in my mouth. Since then I have come to realize sushi can be so much more. I need to connect with the owner who was so close to my brother. They would take the sushi bus to home games of the Oakland raiders. It was a party bus and from the stories I heard I was really missing out. Anyways please reach out to me and invite me so I can try what makes Mikuni and separates from ALL of the competition. Also there should be a welcome wagon for new, first time customers. Kind of like the old days of wonderful food and even better employees. Is that still important? Or have you become so big you forgot what got you to such a high level in the first place??? Apparently if you don’t use the card they wipe all your points from your account. My family is sad. I left a voicemail from their contact info on their website. ### 1/5 — How is it this bad?!?! *2024-11-27* After putting together an order for 4 people, I watched the wheel spin to try and verity I was a human for over 15 minutes with no workaround. My pick up time eventually moved so far back (2 hour shift while trying to submit) that I went somewhere else. Bottom line: there are other equally good sushi restaurants. ### 1/5 — New update doesn’t work *2024-03-09* You can’t log in anymore. It tells you everytime that you have an incorrect password, you update it, asks you to log in and them the same thing all over again. I think they did it to stop the koki card users from being able to “put your name on the waiting list. I’ve talked to the manager and no help. ### 1/5 — Bad app *2024-02-11, version 10.3* Broken.
