### 3/5 — Range Formula

*2019-04-26*

Good app, except for the range formula. It is a preset and cannot be modified to a specific scope value. It uses a 1000 factor; whereas my scope formula uses 700, thus, range distance is far off! I'd love this app if Range formula could be adjustable.

### 2/5 — Useless on account of incompatibility.

*2018-08-10*

The title says it all. On my iPhone X i cannot see what magnification the scope is at and therefore i cant change it either. This renders the entire app useless to me since i cant get an exact mil dot correction.

### 3/5 — Mil dot

*2017-12-02, version 4.4.2*

Need’s an update for 11.0
Apart from that its good

### 3/5 — Need to update

*2017-11-04*

Developers need to update to work with Apple latest version

### 5/5 — Know how to range a target with your reticle.

*2015-10-17*

Good app. For those who don't know how to use it, read up on ranging a target. It basically does all the math for you as far as the mil relation formula. You still have to know the size of the target, be able to read how many mils/moa the target is in your reticle and match it with the app reticle. You can do either mil radian or minute of angle. Which ever one your comfortable using. Does the math for you to get your distance to target. So if you know the basics of ranging a target with your reticle then this is a good app. If you don't know the basic concept of ranging a target with your reticle then read up on it or stick with a laser range finder.

### 5/5 — Quick and easy

*2015-08-01*

Easy to use. One hand controls.

### 5/5 — Very good app

*2015-02-16*

This works very well and has easy to use features. If you cant use the app its because you dont understand mil dots and range estimation.

### 1/5 — How do I delete your app?

*2019-08-16*

I have been trying to get rid of this app, and all it will allow me to do is MAKE A REFERRAL TO SOMEONE ELSE? It has to go because I don’t trust an Application that embeds itself in my equipment and makes itself an unwanted guest! This App is screwing my I phone up!

### 1/5 — Needs updating

Good app but needs updating. It hasn't been updated since IOS-5 2013.

### 1/5 — USELESS

*2017-03-10*

Maybe I don't know what I'm doing but this app seems completely useless. Why is it so hard to make a rangefinder app where you point your phone at something and it tells you about how far it is?

### 1/5 — Not a rangefinder at all.

*2016-09-29, version 4.4.2*

Not a rangefinder at all. Just some garbage tutorial thing. Don't waste your time.

### 1/5 — Crap

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Very useful to learn & practice.

*2025-04-15*

I’m just learning how to properly use Mil dots & MOA adjustments. This app is great for that. It’s simple to use, has a mode you can practise ranging in, plus you can choose between 1st & second focal plane scopes. I’m wondering if some of the negative reviews are from people thinking this is a shooting game. It isn’t. Would be cool if there was a mode to check you ranging, by taking the shot, but it does what it needs to now.

### 5/5 — OK

*2021-04-29*

Simple and easy.

### 5/5 — Update for iOS 11 PLEASE!

Easy to use. I set up cheat cards for what I am hunting, then don't have to stop and mess with my phone for a rushed shot.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2017-10-24*

I love this app. Have used it lots in the field. Hope there is an update for iOS 11 soon.

### 5/5 — Excellent App

*2016-08-31*

Works great, does all the math for you to range a target properly. It's not a magic wand, so you have to know how to use the mil-dot sight to begin with.
I only wish it would allow you to change the formula to accommodate the actual max magnification of your specific scope. My scope came with its own cheat sheet. And the formula they use has 900 as opposed to 1000 as part of it' equation.
So when I do the math on a calculator vs this app, for this particular scope, the range is off. But that's no fault of the app.
Since I'm new to using mil-dot, I'm assuming that the cheat sheet provided by the scope manufacturer has a different value in its formula due to the fact that is only 9X max magnified. And that the app is assuming a higher magnification.
But I could be wrong.

### 5/5 — New to long range shooting

*2015-11-29*

An excellent app condensing what I find to be a confusing subject into an easily understood graphic interface. Thank you.
