### 5/5 — Amazingly motivating!!

*2026-07-26*

Before I sit down at night- it makes me get some miles in- which I love!

### 5/5 — Motivation to move!!

*2026-07-22*

In a world where everyone is posting about their marathon or their 8min mile pace on their Instagram story, it can be incredibly daunting. MAD makes moving your body fun and actually approachable. I would come up with a million excuses or just have zero motivation, but seeing that streak number go up, having my friends hype me up, and being in competitions has made me walk/run more than I have in a long time. MAD isn’t pressuring you to be a marathoner (or who knows!!), it’s just getting you to start that streak of making a healthy habit where your body will thank you. Can’t wait for more people to get on this app!!

### 1/5 — Could be good

*2026-07-17*

Can’t log runs or use with a treadmill!

**Developer response:** Hi Mxsmith — thanks for giving Mile A Day a try, and sorry it got off on the wrong foot! The good news: both of those are things the app can do, and we'd love to help you get them working.

Treadmill runs absolutely count. When you start a workout in the app, just choose Indoor — your phone's motion sensors track the distance, no GPS needed. There's an Indoor option on the Apple Watch app too.

Logging runs: Mile A Day pulls in any run saved to Apple Health automatically — Apple Watch workouts, treadmill runs, even runs from other apps. If nothing's showing up, it's usually just Health permissions needing to be switched on, and that's a 30-second fix.

If you email us at support@mileaday.run, we'll personally walk you through it and make sure your miles start counting. We'd genuinely love a second chance to help you build that streak — your first mile's waiting! 🏃

### 5/5 — Simple to use, yet amazing!

*2026-07-14*

Great app overall. Smooth interactions and a great way to keep your friends accountable!

### 5/5 — EVERYONE GET MAD!! (mile-a-day, not angry)

*2026-07-07*

Love this app and that you can have friendly competition with friends and family! It will get you off the couch and moving without even realizing it.

### 5/5 — I love this app!

I didn’t think I was competitive until I downloaded mile a day! It’s the best way to have friendly competition with your peers and has been the best motivation to actually get me up & moving every day! Seeing your streak increase, having fun daily challenges, and getting medals for your achievements make the work that much more fun! I love mile a day!

### 5/5 — The Perfect Motivation!

*2026-06-09*

This app is awesome! I struggle with consistently staying motivated when it comes to working out but this app changed that. Competing with my friends and family makes working out fun and it gets me moving every day!

• Streak Assist explains itself instead of going quiet
• Comment and mention notifications open the right post
• Live head-to-head standings
• Fixed a sign-in issue that could leave friends and challenges stuck
• Recalibrate Streak now credits partial days correctly

Keep the streak alive.

### 1.2.03 — 2026-07-25

Streak Tokens
• Earn Double Down, Streak Save, and Streak Assist just by running — then spend them to protect your streak when life gets in the way.
• Go far enough past your goal to earn an Assist, and rescue a friend the day after their streak breaks.
• The Pure Flame: a gold flame on your profile when every day of your streak was earned on the day.
• Tokens live on your dashboard, profile, widget, and watch, with meters that tick up as you run.

A New Dashboard
• One card for everything that matters: your mile, your streak, your tokens — and a greeting that knows what day of your streak you're on.
• Choose your style: Modern for a calm, focused layout, or Fun for the animated flame buddy. Switch anytime in Dashboard settings.
• Your streak flame is a real fire now. It starts as a coal, shrinks as the day burns down, and erupts into a blaze the second you finish your mile.
• A new Streak Flame widget puts that same flame on your Home Screen, next to your streak stats. Tap it to jump straight into the tracker.

Moments
• Lock Screen countdown: when your streak is on the line in the evening, a live countdown to midnight appears on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island with a one-tap Start Mile.
• Streak reveal: the first time we read your history, watch your streak count up from zero as the flame ignites.
• Token stories: when a token saves a day — yours or a friend's — you get the story, not just the math.
• Your month, wrapped: when the calendar flips, see your miles, your best day, and a card worth sharing.

Feed & Friends
• Comments and replies on posts, plus @mentions in captions and comments that tap through to profiles.
• Collabs: share a run together as a co-post that lands on both profiles, with a new Tagged tab for posts you're in.
• Swipe between friends' stories with a smooth new story viewer.
• Hypes are unlimited — cheer your friends as much as you want.
• A rebuilt post composer: photo and stickers on one screen, caption and share on the next — and sticker styles show the real thing before you pick.
• Pending friend requests show up on your dashboard and app icon, and you can accept or decline right from the notification.
• The feed refreshes automatically when you come back to it, and loads faster than ever.

Tracking
• Group walks stay in sync: in-app tracking now filters GPS noise and cross-checks your step count, so friends walking the same route finish with the same miles.
• Treadmill and indoor runs are easier to find, and runs from your Apple Watch, treadmill, and other apps import from Apple Health automatically.
• Road to your next club: Insights maps your streak as a journey — milestones you've conquered, where you stand today, and days to the next one.

Camera & Photos
• Pinch to zoom in the camera, plus a new 0.5x ultra-wide lens option for capturing more of your run.
• When posting, you can now pick a photo you took during your walk or run — not just brand-new shots.
• Saving a snap to your camera roll now shows a "Saved" confirmation and won't create duplicates.
• Do an extra walk or run? You'll now get a fresh photo prompt for each one.

Maps
• Pinch to zoom route maps in workout details and on friend profiles.

Fixes & Reliability
• Fixed celebrations occasionally re-firing (or workouts briefly disappearing) after a cold app launch, and mile-complete celebrations now fire every time.
• Fixed "Photo waiting" showing for a previous day's snap, and mid-run photos are always matched to the correct day.
• Fixed "Couldn't prepare that photo" when posting HDR or wide-gamut images.
• Fixed stickers jittering while dragging them, and stickers no longer clip at the canvas edge.
• Fixed Today's Progress counting a midnight-crossing workout twice, and Current Streak Stats showing the wrong streak length.
• Smoother handling when an in-app workout can't save to Apple Health.

Run your mile. Keep your streak.

  from a locked screen
• Faster photos, cleaner camera controls, no more duplicate hypes

### 1.2.1 — 2026-07-15

Your walks and runs just got a whole lot more shareable.

A real camera, built in
Snap your mile with full flash control and a self-timer for those propped-up group shots. Taking photos mid-walk? Review them right there, save the keepers, and ditch the blurry ones — all without pausing your tracking. And every photo you take is automatically saved to your camera roll, so you'll never lose a good one.

Share it your way
Post to your Story, your Feed, or both - you're always in control. Add the photo you love (whether you snapped it in the app or with your camera on the walk), keep your stats sticker looking exactly how you set it, and save a copy with your stats baked right in.

Never miss a friend's mile
Post notifications are here - get a heads-up when your friends share, and tap to jump straight to their post or story. One clean notification per post, no spam.

Prettier, more accurate routes
Your route maps now trace smoother, truer lines that actually follow where you went (no more accidental swims across the lake). Pinch to zoom in on any route, right from the feed.

Stories that make sense
Finished yesterday but not today? Yesterday's stories stay open — new days no longer lock what you've already earned.

Polished all over
Tap the clap to hype your friends with a satisfying burst. Walks are blue, runs are red — everywhere. Plus a pile of fixes to make everything feel a little cleaner.

Now get out there. A mile's not going to run itself.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-07-13
