You have to delete and start all over again ### 2/5 — Lost all my mileage *2026-04-02, version 4.1.2* The redesigned app looked great at first, but then a trip popup got stuck on my lock screen. After restarting my iPhone trying to get rid of the popup, I discovered that all my data from this year and last year - data I needed for my last year's business taxes - was completely gone. All my tracking had been wiped out, and the app no longer had any data. The author did not respond to my requests for help with this major issue. Use this app at your own risk. ### 4/5 — Free app but not perfect. *2026-03-21, version 4.0.2* In the last year it has missed a total of 3 business drives I’ve done. The first 2 were very short drives so only missed out on a couple of dollars. Yesterday it missed one after being great for months and it was probably $9 of drive. There are no other truly free apps like this one that I can find and I know. I’ll miss more drives if I manually keep track of it, so will continue using this app for now. Only missing 3 business drives in 12 months isn’t terrible. This is why I rated it 4 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ and not 5. Hope I don’t miss too many more. I check my drives daily to make sure a business drive isn’t missed. Not worried about personal. Update: they have revamped the app and it is SOOO much better. I’m going to give it time before going to 5 stars, but I’m loving the ease of the new version and how smooth it is. Glad I kept it around and didn’t switch to a paid driving app. ### 2/5 — Works only part time *2026-02-11, version 3.0* I’ve been using this app for quite a few years now. Only just the last year or so I’ve noticed it doesn’t track my mileage at times. It’ll show there’s trips to be logged and when I open it, the trips are gone. The settings page is transparent so you can see anything on there. The inability to fast swipe and having to wait 5-10 seconds between swipes is extremely annoying. The thing that killed this app is the ads. Now it’s ad driven? It suddenly stopped tracking some trips and there are weeks in a row that doesn’t track unless I open the app several times a day. ### 2/5 — Great GPS tracking, but buggy data entry *2024-10-24* I would really love to give this app more than 2 stars. I don’t mind the ads at all (small price to pay for a free utility that doesn’t collect your data, according to the app store). The GPS trip tracking works very well, however, I can’t do any data entry whatsoever on this app, even though data entry appears to be supported (like adding parking or toll costs, odometer readings, etc.). On the data entry pages, the user interface is messy (think this is a bug of some sort) and does not display properly. Text is the same color of the background, making it unreadable. Also, when I tap on a data entry field, the keyboard does not open no matter what I did to try to make it work! The app’s support link in the app store just points to a stock portfolio website, which has no information about the developer, or any way to contact support. This would have been my go-to solution for mileage tracking, but the app is not usable if I can’t enter odometer readings or comments about the purpose of the trip. Looks like I’m back to doing it by hand until I can find a solution that doesn’t collect users’ data. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Issues with app *2026-05-09, version 4.2.3* Reporting isn’t accurate when breaking down categories of driving and the aggregate reporting is wrong also. ### 1/5 — Used to be a good app *2026-03-15, version 3.0* I used to count on this app as accurate, although at times it would take weeks for the trip logs to populate. Now it’s worthless, as it misses multiple days at a time, recently drove nearly 3000 miles over two weeks, and only one day of those days is showing. There is no contact us or help or chat in the app and you have to watch an ad every time you open it, which crashes the app almost every time. Before it became unreliable, I would have paid for the app to not have to watch the ad, but that has never been an option. And I’ve hated it. It fails to send notifications, so if you aren’t actively thinking about mileage, you accumulate hundreds of miles of trips before you remember to classify them. Glitches and missed trips galore are part of this app. Now, ads pop open every time you open the app, which I thought would make it better, but no. I have trips that I automatically wanted classified, but it classifies every drive the same that starts and ends in the same location- home. And there’s no way to remove the setting. It’s garbage.
