## What is Mile Meow?

Here's a simple, free, no-fuss mileage tracker for IRS deductions or mileage reimbursement. No ads, no tracking, no accounts. Everything stays on your iPhone (no data is ever sent anywhere).

You can log trips in seconds with a large, easy-to-tap number pad: no GPS required, no battery drain, no missed trips, no distractions. Perfect for freelancers, ride-share drivers, and anyone who needs to track business miles for tax deductions or reimbursement.

Every trip is saved on your iPhone with a date, mileage, vehicle, and optional purpose note. View your history, filter by vehicle, and export to .CSV whenever you need it.

Mile Meow stays out of your way and lets you focus on the road.

This is the mileage tracker I wanted, but I couldn't find one like it. So I built it. I figure other people might want a simple mile tracker too, so here it is. I make no money from this app. My reward is knowing that it's helping people save money on their taxes.

To me, that's payment enough!

## Key features

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.5.3 — 2026-08-20

Lots of busy work this time. Full visual redesign.

### 1.5.2 — 2026-08-11

Nothing big on this one. Get out there and start tracking!
• Changed some wording in the descriptions.
• Fixed two date bugs: History now sorts by the trip's date instead of when you entered it, and CSV exports no longer show the wrong date for trips logged late at night.

### 1.5 — 2026-08-08

• All-new design: new layout with better fonts and colors
• Added a fancy opening logo
• Track multiple vehicles' trips independently: switching vehicles no longer loses an in-progress entry on the other one
• Your Start Mileage (and date) now save immediately
• Fixed an issue where the Purpose field on the Log screen didn't always respond to taps
• Fixed the "Done" button on the reimbursement rate entry screen
• Prevented the ability to give two vehicles the same name: Which messes up mileage totals
• Fixed a crash state where the app would act like it’s saving data, but didn’t (rare)

### 1.0 — 2026-08-06
