There is an ad banner at the bottom with no option to eliminate ads. Deleting app. It’s to bad, this is a simple and useful app. ### 4/5 — Are you working on an EV version? *2023-03-25, version 4.0* I have been using your app for several years now very successfully to monitor consumption and economy of cars but I have just purchased an EV and was wondering if you were looking at updating so that I could log kWh charging so that I can see consumption and economy . Please fix, quickly. ### 4/5 — Still good, even with the ads. *2022-07-26* Any time an "update" includes the addition of ads, it's time to start considering a replacement. I REALLY like this app and have been using it to keep track of eight cars since 2014. A recent update included the addition of an (albeit small) ad at the bottom of the screen. Should have just asked for $1.99 or whatever and your loyal users would probably have paid it. I used to recommend Mileage Keeper, but I'm just plain against ANY app that includes data-sucking ads. I didn't buy an iPhone with a bigger screen because I wanted to display more ads. Please consider a paid ad-free version/option. ### 4/5 — Great and to the Point *2022-06-18* It’s a wonderfully simple and easy to use app. Does everything as needed, and have used it for what feels like forever, but at least 5 years. I wish it offered iCloud Drive syncing support. I’d rate it 5 stars. The current export/import is cumbersome for me, I like it for device switching, but I have to reset my existing device periodically, so….yah. ### 3/5 — “Uses” System settings without actually using system settings *2021-08-04, version 4.0* App seems really simple and easy to use - but I’m in Canada and switching the settings to display as metric units was a small nightmare because apparently the app relies on system settings to determine units, yet when set to “Automatically” it will chose US units. And no - my settings are not incorrect. It is an app glitch as: • force quitting the app • refreshing time zone (even though it was already correct) • restarting iPhone • restarting app — will still show US units. So I had to set it manually in my phone settings by finding the app in my list then turning everything off Automatic. Will update review after a week of use! ### 4/5 — Revent Units issues *2021-07-09, version 4.0* I have been using this app flawlessly for many years, it is simple and easy to use. There is a bug that appeared in the last month with the units. My settings are correct, L for fuel, miles for odometer and mpg for consumption. However the app ignore the L now and put in gallons regardless of what the setting is. ### 4/5 — Litres or gallons *2021-06-03, version 4.0* Used to work great but now, set the units to litres in settings, open the app and after a short period, about 4 cycles of adds, it changes back to gallons. Still shows litres in the settings. IOS 14.51. Only way is to close the app and then reopen shows litres again but then repeats the unit change. ### 3/5 — Worked fine until iOS 13 update *2020-12-08* I have an older iPhone 6 that cannot be updated to iOS 13. Imagine my surprise when I went to fill my gas tank and the app tried to update itself...50%, 60%, 75%... and it stopped. Tried again, same thing. Mileage Keeper no longer runs on iOS 12.9, and all my years of data is unavailable. I heard someone did an export, and I hope that one doesn't need to run the app to do it, otherwise I'm sunk. Can't afford a new phone. The only other option is to back up the phone, find a pre-August backup, restore to that, run the app and do an export, store that data elsewhere, then restore from the current backup. Not at all pleasant. Guess I'll go with another app that will run on iOS 12.9. :-/ ### 2/5 — Please go back to the old summary display *2020-11-10* Have always loved this app. It’s simple, no-frills and gives just what you need, but the new summary view is useless. The old view with a single line per refill allowed you to quickly compare fuel economy, this stacked version doesn’t allow you to compare anything. It’s useless enough that I’m considering changing apps, but I had to lose all my info and the app had been rock-solid for years! ### 3/5 — Update ruined it! *2020-09-23* This was a great app UNTIL they updated it. Now I can no longer see (or find) the mpg I was getting at a glance. Also the format is awful - large font and the vehicle list and fuelings are ordered backwards now. I think I will delete it since it is of no use to me anymore but a shame because I have about 8 years of history in here with 6 different vehicles! ### 2/5 — Was great *2020-09-02, version 4.0* It was a great app until the last update. There must have been a large demand to make it more difficult to view your data at a glance as I can see no reason for the new layout other than to make things more difficult. After using this app for years it looks like it's time to find a replacement. ☹️ ### 4/5 — Working Great, Then… *2020-08-23* Just the facts, Ma’am. Gas, mileage, price. And a note section that on a trip I can put the filling location in, or around town put the mpg the car estimated. Then version 4.0 came out. It’s got all the features; only the formatting has changed. No more going down the “mileage” column to eyeball for highs and lows. Now the data is arranged in blocks that are more difficult to read. Just a smidge less useful. And if, in an attempt to compensate, we then get beat graphs of the data, bam! The basic part is gone. Let us stick to the CSV exports for that, and give us at least a toggle back to ye olde format. ### 4/5 — Devs updated it *2020-08-10, version 4.0* Worth a try. I loved it. Lately ever since the last update, the numbers have been off. This version got al my information wrong. I have the Setting to enter the gasoline in liters. It keeps calculating in gallons and my MPG just down. I go to the settings and play there a little. Open the app voila the correct information. I enter data. Oh no!!! Gallons again. Leave it as it was and everything will be fine. ### 1/5 — old bug again *2018-10-05, version 3.1* after the update to ios 12, the old bug has appeared again- the app cuts off the decimals when you add the figures of fueling. This bug was already fixed before, I wrote to the support but had no answer for a week. It seems the app isn’t maintained and supported anymore. Needs trip and gallons or litres consumed instead odometer only option. Lack of instructions. Changing settings is within your ios devices General settings. Uninstalled ### 1/5 — Poor choice *2016-03-31, version 2.5* I loaded this app because just wanted something simple, and that is what I got. Easy to use however not at all dependable. Twice all my data just disappeared. First time thought it may have been my fault bet this time the whole app is empty, yes it is just gone replaced with a plus sign, yep just a plus sign.
