## What is MileBook Mileage Log?

MileBook is the private, no-nonsense mileage log built for US self-employed and 1099 drivers. Log every deductible mile, classify trips with one swipe, and export audit-ready reports at tax time — without your data ever leaving your iPhone.

AUTOMATIC TRIP DETECTION, WITHOUT THE BATTERY DRAIN
MileBook detects drives in the background using efficient, low-power location monitoring. It never runs continuous GPS. When a drive ends, you get a notification — classify it as Business or Personal right from the lock screen.

ONE-SWIPE CLASSIFICATION
Swipe right for Business, left for Personal. Medical and Charity categories are available in the trip editor. Your year-to-date deduction updates instantly.

IRS-ACCURATE DEDUCTIONS
MileBook applies the correct IRS standard mileage rate for each trip's date — including mid-year rate changes — and freezes the rate when you classify, so past tax years never shift. Every calculation is date-correct and transparent.

MANUAL LOGGING, ALWAYS
Add trips by addresses, miles, or odometer readings. Manual logging is unlimited, free forever, and works even if you decline location, motion, or notification permissions.

AUDIT-READY EXPORTS
Generate clean CSV and PDF mileage reports for any period. CSV imports directly into Numbers and Excel; the PDF includes a summary page and a full trip table your accountant can use as-is. Files are shared through the standard iOS share sheet and stay on your device until you send them.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
There is no account, no backend, and no analytics upload. Your trips, addresses, vehicles, and reports are stored only on your iPhone. MileBook never sells or transmits your location history — there is nothing to transmit it to.
