## What is Mileglow?

Mileglow is a mileage log for freelancers, gig workers, and anyone who needs clean trip records.

Add trips manually, choose a purpose, attach a client and note, then review monthly miles and deduction estimates using rates you control in Settings. Export a simple CSV when you need your records outside the app.

Mileglow stores data locally and does not require an account, subscription, analytics, or a developer backend.

- Search your trips: a live search bar finds trips instantly by client, notes, or route (From/To). Works across your whole log, no matter how long it grows.
- Filter by purpose, date range, or deductible-only: pick Any / Business / Medical / Charity / Personal, set a start and end date (with quick picks for This Month, This Year, Last Year), or show only tax-deductible trips. Filters combine — drill straight to "all Acme business trips in Q1".
- By Client summary: a new breakdown on the Report tab groups your miles and estimated deduction by client. See which client drove the most deductible activity, useful for billing reimbursement or allocating costs across jobs.
- Swipe to delete: swipe left on any trip in the list to remove it in one gesture.

New Annual Tax Summary (calendar-year total, per-purpose breakdown, business-use percentage from your odometer, projected full-year figure); an IRS-ready paginated PDF report alongside CSV; audit-grade trip fields (from/to, business purpose, optional odometer, round-trip flag, deductible tolls & parking); multi-vehicle support with per-car odometer and a vehicle filter; quick entry (templates, favorite places, repeat-last-trip); and a new offline Mileage & Tax Basics guide with a browsable IRS rate history.
