Seemed I was good to go until now in December discovering all my data is locked behind a paywall which makes it impossible for me to report for taxes. I wasted all these months trusting this app. I get, for sure, everyone needs to make money on these apps but seems I got bait and switched. It’s infuriating and now I have no records for taxes. At least just allow a very basic year end report. Today marks my first day of using it, and here’s what I’ve found. In terms of accuracy, I rate it 98%, which is significantly better than many mileage tracking apps I’ve tried. I compared it with my vehicle's odometer and another app, MileIQ. However, there are a few areas for improvement. Location accuracy would benefit from an option to adjust the accuracy radius to 50 feet. Additionally, the app lacks customization for business names. Currently, it only allows selecting predefined business categories for business drives. It would be helpful if users could add custom business names, such as Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, or Realtor. I would also love to see a live tracking feature that includes a driving map. The Bluetooth vehicle connection could streamline the process by eliminating the need to manually start or end trips, as the current process takes longer than expected. Overall, this app has great potential. I've been using it for over five months now and really like it. However, it’s missing a few key features—such as report filtering, vehicle Bluetooth connectivity, and desktop portal access. These are pretty basic functionalities that most other mileage apps already offer, and I’ve mentioned this to their support team. They assured me these features are in the pipeline, but after almost six months, I haven’t seen any sign of them. While I have used several apps, including popular ones like MileIQ, TripLog, Hurdler, and Everlance, this particular app has truly caught my attention, and I use it daily. However, there are some issues with the report filtering. Currently, custom report filtering is not available, making it impossible to create a report for a single day. If you miss logging a drive and want to add it manually, the distance calculation is based on a straight line rather than the actual driving distance, which can vary significantly. Additionally, the automatic trip ending feature takes quite a long time to process. Instead, it shows the total mileage driven, including both business and personal use, for a specific period. Additionally, there is no reporting filter that allows users to view custom business purposes. It is also still not possible to create a one-day report. I started recommending it to my clients and friends this week after the latest update. However, I hope to see a desktop version in the future that would allow users to access their reports and create single-day reports.
