### 1/5 — Can’t even login

*2026-03-22*

Login failed login failed over and over why did I buy this junk?

**Developer response:** We are very sorry for the inconvenience caused. We have launched the new 2.0 version, and we hope you can update to the latest version through the App Store.

Please also note that you need to log in using the account registered within the app, rather than an account registered on https://mileseeygolf.com/ or through any other channel.

If you are still unable to log in, please provide your account information so that we can investigate the issue for you.

### 1/5 — pointless and dysfunctional

*2026-03-19*

this app and the software logic are garbage. it’s poorly designed and serves no purpose

### 1/5 — Poor App

*2026-02-20*

I have tried multiple times to update firmware through app but after about 30% it just stops uploading on speaker.

**Developer response:** "Hi! We sincerely apologize for the frustrating and terrible experience caused by the firmware update issue, and we take your feedback about the update stopping at around 30% very seriously.
We’d like to check in with you: have you successfully completed the firmware update for your device now? If you’re still unable to finish the update, please contact our support team directly at mileseeygolf@mileseey.com. We’ll provide you with one-on-one technical support immediately to help you resolve this issue completely.
Thank you for your honest feedback, it helps us keep optimizing the update process for all our users."

### 1/5 — Huge Let Down Compared to the Hardware

*2025-12-18*

This app is a huge let down compared to their range finders. I have the GenePro G1. I was looking forward to pairing the device with the app but this app is just not as intuitive as others. It’s clunky and seems outdated. This version needs to be shelved and a new app needs to be built from the ground up.

For anyone having trouble pairing the device to their phone, you have to go into the Bluetooth setting on the range finder to find the bar code to scan in app with your phone. Those instructions are not in the manual.

**Developer response:** "Hi, thank you for your valuable feedback. We have thoroughly documented your criticism regarding the app experience, particularly the non-intuitive pairing process and cumbersome operation. Your comments have been forwarded to our product and development teams and will serve as an important reference for future app optimization and potential redesign.

We highly value the experience of every user, and your candid input is crucial to us. Thank you once again for taking the time to help us improve. If you encounter any further issues while using the product, please feel free to contact our dedicated customer service team directly via email at mileseeygolf@mileseey.com. We are here to assist you."

### 1/5 — Can’t even login

*2025-10-29*

App needs a lot of improvement. I can’t get past the login page.

**Developer response:** "Hi, we've noted this issue and have released an update to fix it. Please try uninstalling the current app and downloading the latest version, which should resolve the login problem.
If the issue persists, please feel free to contact our dedicated support team at mileseeygolf@mileseey.com for further assistance."

### 1/5 — Very Basic and Frustrating App

*2025-10-13*

The Mileseey app is extremely basic for a device that’s supposed to be advanced. It constantly crashes whenever I try to update or load course maps, which makes it very unreliable on the course. The interface feels outdated and lacks many features you’d expect from a high-end rangefinder companion app. Overall, it’s disappointing and quite annoying to use — definitely needs major updates and stability improvements.

**Developer response:** Hi, thank you for your feedback. Regarding the application experience issues you mentioned, we have received the report. Our team is currently working on targeted optimizations, with fixing performance and improving stability being one of our top priorities. We will continue to make improvements and appreciate your patience and support. For any future questions, our team at mileseeygolf@mileseey.com is here for you!

### 1/5 — Cannot pair the app to device

*2025-09-20*

I’ve tried scanning 5 different QR codes from the manual to ones I found online. Nothing scans. I’ve tried reinstalling the app as well as closing/re-opening. Nothing helps. Cannot pair it and therefore I cannot update the device.

**Developer response:** "Hello, we sincerely apologize for the frustrating pairing experience.

The issue you encountered likely stems from a common misunderstanding: the QR codes in the manual are only examples. The correct pairing QR code must be generated dynamically on your device's screen.

Please try these steps:
1. On your device, enter the settings menu, find and tap the ""Bluetooth"" option (not just turning the Bluetooth switch on).
2. The device screen will then display a unique, dynamic QR code.
3. Open the mobile app and go to the ""Add Device"" section to scan this on-screen QR code.

We have already submitted your feedback about the ""unclear manual instructions"" to our team and will update the documentation promptly to prevent other users from facing the same confusion.

If the problem persists after following these steps, please contact us at mileseeygolf@mileseey.com with your device serial number and phone OS, and we will provide one-on-one support to resolve it."

### 1/5 — Course exists on app, can’t send it to device

*2026-07-31*

I just got this device and the first course I played was not findable on the genesonic pro. In the app and on their website it is listed, and I can start the round on my phone, but when trying to add the course to the device it spins on “getting course info”. I may send the device back if I can’t add new courses.

### 1/5 — App is close to garbage

*2026-07-20*

This App is very finicky. I’ve been using the device for awhile and it’s been pretty good but now the app won’t let me log on and connect to the device so I can use the stat tracking. Very inconsistent and frustrating app.

**Developer response:** Please send us the email address of the account you are unable to log in to (mileseeygolf@mileseey.com), and we will handle it as soon as possible.

### 1/5 — Update ruins iPhone sync.

*2026-06-16*

Updated to 2.1.1. Can’t connect to go unit now. Accept connect and just fails every time. Obviously it starts because you have to accept but then fails to sync.

### 1/5 — App is Sorely Lacking

*2026-06-03*

The speaker and the interface on the GPS is fine. The app, however, is way too basic - almost as if it is beta phase. You cannot submit 9 hole scores. Your stats for 9 holes are not recorded. Playing the Front 9/Back 9 as a round option is available in the startup menu but the round navigation does not treat it that way and when you go to submit a 9 hole score the round says it’s incomplete. The speaker itself is novel and seems of good quality. The app developers are far behind apps like The Grint, Blue Tees Game, etc. The interface of the app is so poor I’m contemplating going back to a Blue Tees Player Pro.

### 1/5 — This app is worthless

*2026-06-01*

Totally worthless app. I can’t find my device thru the app but it’s connected to my iPhone. Can’t send an issue report thru the app. When I tried that it wanted to send it as an email but didn’t give me any email address to the support team!

### 1/5 — Disappointing

*2026-05-29*

The device itself is great but the app is quite poor. It has lots of glitches like an inability to update the firmware even though the device is fully charged. It keeps saying the battery is too low. Also, it will no longer sync my rounds and won’t let me upgrade. It’s overall disappointing since the device / app combo had so much promise.

### 1/5 — Its does not with apple watch

*2026-05-15*

It does not work with apple watch

### 1/5 — vibe coded garbage

*2026-04-24*

don’t download the app. regardless of the version. 2.0 is no better than whatever the previous version was.

don’t buy their products either. this entire team is a joke. if the “developers” think this is a good app, y’all need to go back to school. it is nothing but nonsense and frustration. no logic parameters, the firmware will continue to update even if you’re on the latest, you have to update courses one by one, accounts delete. it’s just garbage through and through. i’m embarrassed for you and am sad to have wasted money on this high school computer science project.

owner of a genepro1 from kickstarter (which was in itself an absolute nightmare)

do better mileseey. we paid you good money for this and i expected at least something that was usable. this is not it.

**Developer response:** Hi! We are truly sorry for the extremely frustrating experience you've had with our app and products. Your honest feedback is incredibly valuable to us, and we take every single issue you raised very seriously.

Please allow us to respond directly to the concerns you mentioned:
1. Repeated firmware update prompts: Under normal circumstances, if your device is already running the latest firmware version, the app should not repeatedly prompt you to update. This is not the intended behavior. If you are experiencing this issue, please submit it through the in-app feedback section (User Center > Feedback). This will allow us to access your account and device information so that we can identify and resolve the root cause as quickly as possible.

2. Course updates: You are absolutely right. At present, course data still needs to be updated manually one by one. This is a known limitation, and our development team is actively working on improvements. We plan to add a bulk update feature in a future version.

3. Account logout: When upgrading to the new 2.0 version, we switched servers, so you need to log in again.

We understand your disappointment, especially as a Kickstarter backer of the GenePro1. We are committed to continuously improving our products and services to meet our customers' expectations.

If you would like to work directly with our support team to resolve any remaining issues, please feel free to contact us through the in-app feedback channel. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience with us.

### 1/5 — App is worst part

*2026-03-31*

This app is the worst, by a huge margin, over the MILESEEY GPS unit I have. Honestly, if I am still within the return window of the device I am going to return it. The device itself works pretty well, but this app just leaves me feeling like my purchase was a bad one.

**Developer response:** We take the issues you raised very seriously. To improve your experience, we have launched the new 2.0 version, and we hope you can update to the latest version through the App Store.
This update brings a refreshed user experience with improved course maps, scoring features, and overall usability. We have also enhanced device connectivity, increased the success rate of OTA updates, fixed several known issues, and further improved stability and performance.
In addition, we have added a feedback section in the User Center, where you can report any issues directly to our customer support team.
If the new version improves your experience, you are welcome to update your review of our app on the App Store. Thank you for your support and feedback.

### 1/5 — Worthless - Play Golf mode doesn’t work

*2026-03-28*

I just got my MILESEEY GenePro G1 and am trying to use it this afternoon. I got everything setup and when I click “Play Golf” on the device itself it just brings me to the QR code to connect to Bluetooth. I’m already connected in the app. When I click “Play Golf” in the app and choose a course, it fails with “Device is not authorized”. I’ve tried resetting the device, restarting phone and device, creating a new profile, etc. Nothing works. It’s effectively worthless as a GPS function, which is the whole selling point of the device.

**Developer response:** Hi! We’re truly sorry for the unpleasant experience this has caused you.
Our technical team has confirmed this issue is not related to the app. It stems from an individual device authorization exception.
Kindly contact the after-sales support of your purchase store, and they will assist you with professional after-sales handling promptly.
We greatly appreciate your feedback, and we will keep optimizing to bring a better user experience.

## Most praised reviews (6 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Much better

*2026-06-02*

The system is much better since the updates.

### 3/5 — Not bad but needs some updates

*2026-06-01*

Overall, I really like the speaker and the GPS functionality. The yardages are helpful, the display is easy to read, and the speaker itself works well. Great battery life too and great sound.

The one feature I really think is missing is actual shot-distance tracking, especially for driver. The app shows a drive arc from the tee, which is useful in the moment, but once you move to your ball, that arc is gone. At that point, there doesn’t seem to be an easy way to see how far you actually hit the shot. I understand there may be a way to track by marking your beginning location then marking again when you get to your ball but I’m not a fan of extra work to get information. That’ll slow you down

Other GPS golf speakers offer this, and for a player trying to track real on-course club distances, it would make the product much more valuable. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely a feature I hope gets added in a future app update.

### 3/5 — Bluetooth pairing tip

*2025-11-22*

The instructions for pairing the rangefinder with this app is not well written in the user manual. After fumbling with it for a few minutes myself, finally figured out a couple of things I was doing wrong. Connecting to the rangefinder within my iPhone Bluetooth setting is not necessary, both devices just need to have their Bluetooth functions turned on . Also, the QR code on the instruction manual is just an example. I was trying to scan that and it just would not complete the pairing process. You need to go to the touchscreen of the rangefinder and in the settings, make sure that the Bluetooth function is turned on. Then touch “Bluetooth” and not the toggle on/off switch of the touchscreen. This initiates the generation of the QR code that is specific to your rangefinder and will show up on the touchscreen. This is what you scan this with your phone within the add device function of the app. Then it will pair and the rangefinder will show up within the Mileseey Golf app.

**Developer response:** "Hello, we sincerely thank you for your clear and detailed feedback on the Bluetooth pairing process. Your firsthand account of overcoming unclear instructions is invaluable.

We have prioritized your key findings—specifically, ""do not pair via phone settings"" and ""generate the QR code on the device screen""—and submitted them to our product manual and technical support teams for immediate review and guide updates.

Thank you for helping us improve the experience for all users.
If you encounter any further issues while using the product, please feel free to contact our dedicated customer service team directly via email at mileseeygolf@mileseey.com. We are here to assist you."

### 3/5 — No USOpen Pinehurst 2 how’s that?

*2025-09-18*

Missing Pinehurst #2 #9 # 10 The Cradle …. And have asked a few times with no response. Those are all part of my course offerings for my membership.

**Developer response:** "Hi, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the missing Pinehurst courses. We take this feedback very seriously.
To investigate and resolve this for you as quickly as possible, please email the full course names, addresses, and your specific request to: mileseeygolf@mileseey.com.
Our team will verify the details and work on updating the database promptly upon receipt. Thank you for your patience and assistance!"

### 2/5 — App needs an overhaul

*2026-06-23*

Speaker and GPS are great but the app is not useful. The pictures you have listed posted on the app store are not representative of the actual app. If you can get your app to work like 18birdies this would be 5 stars

### 2/5 — Software Buggy

*2026-03-19*

Nice concept but software is very buggy. Cannot even log into my account with latest release.
