Smarter Default Photo Quality — New installs now default to Medium quality, balancing file size and clarity right out of the box (roughly 400–700 KB per photo instead of 1–2 MB). ### 2.1.8 — 2026-03-13 Monthly Summary — the Weekly Tally now has a Week/Month toggle so you can review your full billing month at a glance, with weekly subtotals and a monthly grand total. Use the arrows to browse back through previous weeks or months. CSV exports now include pre-written description columns (e.g. "March 2 start", "March 2 end – 45 KM") so you can paste directly into your employer's reimbursement portal without any manual calculation. Auto Sunday Export — when you save your END reading on a Sunday, MileSnap automatically generates and shares your weekly CSV so nothing slips through at end of week. Photo Quality now actually reduces file size at Medium and Low settings — previously all three settings were producing near-identical file sizes. Expect Medium photos around 400–700 KB and Low around 200–400 KB, making them much easier to email or upload.
