Says my security questions aren’t right. Very easy swipe right for buisness and left for personal. Easy to pull my report for taxes. Then it stopped tracking. Emailed customer support multiple times with no response. Loosing money daily with this lack of support company. I DO NOT recommend milewiz ### 2/5 — Too many glitches *2023-04-21* It will not let me sign into my iCloud account. It is breaking up my trips into smaller trips, and I cannot find any setting reasonably placed as an option to stop that from happening. It was random about two weeks ago. Now I have over 100 trips whereas I probably really only should have about 10 to 14. ### 3/5 — Battery drain! *2022-09-10* While the app is really useful, accepting all the prompts to turn location services to ‘always on’ drains my battery. In the last 6-8 weeks the system has not been recording all trips and I have lost over £1000 in fuel expenses. I have tried to make contact with the help desk via the app twice but no one seems to want to respond. I have a yearly subscription and feel I am getting ripped off because nobody cares. ! I can see no way to restore a backup so it seems all f this data is lost. To say this is a minor issue would be an understatement. It appears fixed now though. ### 1/5 — Bait & Swich *2021-03-22, version 21021.12.1* There’s no mention that you only get a limited number of trips documented for free before an absorbent annual fee of $49.99 is required to continue with using it. I wasted more than an hour familiarizing myself with this app’s features only to find I was duped. I would have paid 20 bucks max with no annual renewal fee but 50 bucks per year. It’s not THAT good of an app. ### 1/5 — Miles are logged incorrectly requiring constant maintenance. *2020-07-11* I have given up on this app. It requires constant maintenance and mileage ratchets up faster than my odometer. I often notice that the slipping happened over many previous trips. Apps with manual entry have proven quicker, more efficient, and accurate than MileWiz. Performance for price is not there. The data was recovered and the only thing left to do is merge it into a single cloud account. ### 4/5 — OK, But Lacking *2020-07-02* I’ve been a paying customer of MileIQ for around 6 months, and it is pretty decent. Yet, it relies on Bing maps because it is a Micro$oft app using their other products. So, I decided to get this app to try out the differences. This is way more accurate, but severely lacking in features. Primarily, unlike MileIQ, there’s no web page interface. This is a real problem when you’re trying to classify and look at trips to fill out reimbursement forms, or want to print out a report. I’m currently paying for both, but will probably start looking for another alternative if the authors here don’t implement a web interface soon. Also, settings changes here are not as intuitive. Changing the price price mile doesn’t look like you’re in the correct spot due to lack of bold font or coloring of font. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! Also, we are planning to release a free complementary app for Mac and iPad a little later this year that would be much more comfortable for the needs you described. ### 2/5 — You wrecked it *2020-06-16* Not sure what you did to this app, but it’s terrible. It constantly tells me, “You havent used wilewiz in a week.” Just now it told me it was terminated, whatever that means! And it keeps missing trips or recording a trip while I’m still driving. I’ll be getting something else though because this is dumb. **Developer response:** Got it! I tried to seek a refund, which is not possible. The issues have been long reported, ignored and left unaddressed. It appears fixed now though. ### 1/5 — Lost $1,000 in mileage using this app *2022-02-04* Signed up a year ago and the app did what it said, then the auto renew did not auto renew and I lost an entire month of mileage. There’s a lot of mileage trackers available but don’t pay these guys for theirs, I won’t be using this one anymore, I need my miles as part of my income, no way would I ever again use this app. **Developer response:** Hi The auto-renew is controlled by Apple, not us. If for some reason it didn't go through, there is nothing we can do, but Apple would usually send you an email informing you of that. ### 1/5 — Really has lost it lately! *2022-01-10* After years of happy use this app has become virtually useless. The app does what I want seamlessly, no need to start and stop, it tracks trips in the background. Add business locations and they get categorized as business trips automatically.
